Big Day Out, Sydney 23 January 2004. The best Big Day Out ever in my opinion, and the first to have 2 shows for Sydney due to the demand created by Metallica. With maybe a couple of exceptions, the Big Day Out has been poor since, surpassed by Soundwave Festival (guess who headlined a record crowd this year). But this was THE BEST concert I have been to and I've been to many. Hell, tallica even had a thunder storm to prep them before the concert on a sticky hot day. Who else remembers that???!!!

Tiziano Fratini I agree, he could have just used the bow of the Hi-hat for the slow part, then use the edge for the "fast" parts. That also has a lot to say for the performance, its more quiet and comfortable. Having a screaming hi-hat in your ear during the whole song is just annoying. He is hitting those drums like there´s no tomorrow, damn....
