I believe that performing music (any music) is a method to transfer energy to the listener (any energy). But it only works when the performer is working their energy and intentions into the music. You are doing just that. Anyone can tap on a drum, but you are putting yourself into the vibrations. I believe that is what people are experiencing when they listen to you. Just came back from Tulum. While there, early in the morning we went to the beach club (Delek Tulum) and they had handpan music on. Just imagine - tranquil Caribbean Sea, Palm trees, gentle and warm wind coming from the sea, the sound of waves and palm tree leaves, soft glow of the morning sun, handpan music in the background... man... it was a paradise.
Divine timing: What doesn’t serve me/us any more. That seems to be the theme of the Collective. More so - way more so - than the “usual” letting go of what doesn’t serve us - you know what I mean, I’m sure. There’s a massive paradigm shift happening - like … “when the pain finally gets great enough” and the Universe guides us. Or tarot tower moments, for example. We have not choice other than to jump out of the burning tower. It’s too much. Too hot. We are done. It’s an inferno that we can’t can’t take the heat of … for example ;). Whatever it may be. Anyhow, I will be taking a screen grab if this description. - with date - and it will be included in a RUclips page I really feel drawn to start. And today was a huge tower … animal related (not Leo) but a dog I loved like my own. And the event made me finally be able to step back and get some perspective on what’s been happening this last year - and tomorrow - I am hitting the ground running and closing one of those doors by the end of the day. Period In The amount of time I’ve spent typing this (8 mins… but 11 mins in now) .. this is making me nod my head, beat by beat, smile, with my soul doing the same … this piece is crystal clear in its intention (to me, at any rate). Mannn, I fucking love when one piece of music brings you to all sorts of places … the slowness, the time to think (without an actual mental thought) .. the back and forth … the PAUSE of the transition BETWEEN different musical segments ; all different emotions/experiences, memories … build up to the climax, then the peace. The slowness. The time to contemplate (again, without many actual thoughts)… well, fuck yeah. Leo and I will be listening to this again as wel go to sleep. I can close my eyes. Hold my hands open to receive. And just say “yup. It’s time”. Long. Long. Wayyy long diatribe. 🤷🏻♀️ But when people create and share, it’s important for me to take the time (when I can) to share just how much it is appreciated. I know I’m not the only one. And appreciated is such an understatement. I mean SOULFULLY TAPPED IN. perhaps. Especially when “stories/intentions” of the music created are shared. Grateful Tara + Leo dog
