Hi im a florist and a few tips if you love keeping flowers and want them to last as long as possible. 1.Cutting the stems and at and angle is perfect but also cutting them every few days will keep the end of the stem from sealing and your flowers can drink lots of water and last longer.2 change the water often everyday to every other day is best. 3 taking off a lot of the greenery. the greens take a lot of water from the flower itself and taking most of it off will help also. 4 never let greenery or leaves get in the water always take the leaves off at least to the water line. leaves in water causes bacteria growth that will kill your flowers. Hope this helps if you didn't already know :) LOVE the flowers you chose and all your new stuff!! the Barstools are SO CUTE!
@@catetanenbaum2418 I do like a half to a forth of the patch depending on the size of the vase, and then if you run out it’s not that big of a deal. It keeps the water from growing bacteria so as long as you are changing the water regularly you should be good 👍
I am not a florist so maybe I imagined this, but do tulips droop when there is a lot of water and remain upright when there is only and inch? Also, I cut tulips sharply and perpendicularly (not at an angle, as I would for roses, etc.) and add an ice cube to the vase. Thank you for your tips!
What about cutting the stems underwater instead of in the air? I heard that makes sure it gets maximum water into the stem instead of it sucking up air. Maybe that’s a myth?
Hi Paige, I like the new stools but I would keep the fabric, it lights up the space. There are many brown tones and wood pieces so I would definitely keep the fabric. Greetings from Copenhagen!
Your textiles have a real Father's Day button down feel. Very handsome but would be too much for my Daddy issues on an every day basis. Love the new stools.
The new fabric of the barstools could be dark red and creme white stripes - very bistro and it would mach your kitchen flooring :) Greetings from Germany!
A very satisfying episode! The new barstools are 🔥, not only are they cuter than the old ones, they are also a better fit for the space, it can breathe now! PS: Am I the only one who likes the aqua tile? If I were you I would show it off, not try to hide it! I would paint the walls in a shade of red and that would look great!
I’m not in love with the tile but it’s cheery and I’d play it up as well. But my style is more traditional. I’d probably wallpaper the bathroom and my shower curtain would be patterned and I’d put a curtain around the sink. That bathroom would look like a 19th century English garden. 😂
I really would be curious to see the bathroom re-done in a way that compliments those green/aqua tiles instead of kind of ignoring them lol. They're there! And they throw things off a bit. Obsessed with everything else though!
Every upgrade is so good! Especially the stools. Kinda hated seeing the power outlet get covered by the new mirror/shelf, but I assume you’ve thought it out. Looks beautiful!
The striped curtains add a touch of elegance to the bedroom. And the lower profile & dark stain of the new barstools made a huge difference. Also, the cream upholstery ties in to the kitchen cabinets...🤷🏻♀️ Would love to see the flower arrangements and staged vignettes. 🌹
I loved your shelving unit so much I looked it up. Sandinavian Art Decco Style Postmodern Wall Mirror Shelf by Carina Karlsson. 1990's 1570.00 Eur. So cool.
Love the new wall shelf! And secretly happy to see even the queen of prop styling struggling to style your shelf haha - it's not just me! It turned out great.
LOVE the new barstools. They really elevate the space, makes it look so elegant. Such a great find! Seat reupholstering could have a nice contrasting coloured piping. I’m seeing yellow/lime green tones, but a deep wine red could be fun too.
Hi Paige! Love the stools don’t change the fabric. However I challenge you to go to crate and barrel and you must buy something for your house! It be neat to watch what you pick!
What I adore about your style is that you work with the original design of the house and make them stylish without falling into stylistic period-specific cosplay.
I don't think I love the green in the living room but I think I love the burgandy wine colour on your kitchen floor in your living room, so I would say reupholster in a burgandy that matches the kitchen floor. And they will work with the green ones in the kitchen.
I see a brownish red tiny stripe on those bar stools looking good. I can sort of visualize that in your space with the check floor. Excited to see what you pick!
The stools are awesome! I see their shape/lines before I see them as bamboo. And the shape suggests art deco to me, which is really cool with the checkered pattern in the kitchen floor. I think you should play off of the cushions on your other stools if you reupholster the new ones-do something with contrasting piping like the others have. Seems like a red/maroon or forest green would be a nice choice with white or cream piping.
3:30 I think the stools are great. The different tones in bamboo is cute, and the light tone suits the kitchen well, which is the room they're in when seen. The new fabric for the outside end could be a red or green pattern to tie them in.
Paige, love the drapes and stools. The mirror shelf looks great and that was the perfect spot for it. Now, about the bathroom. I don’t even live there and I have had an issue with it, not that you asked. I think for me, it’s the colour of the tiles. My very amateur opinion on it would be to lean into a mono chromatic paint scheme in there. Repaint the bathroom walls a colour close to the tile colour and then have the shower curtain as the accent colour. Take it or leave it, just a suggestion that wasn’t asked for. Lol
I love the stools - also rattan gets a bad rap for only belonging in boho style. It’s a lot more versatile and classic and you found the correct use for it ❤
upholstery on new stools colorwise seems to match trim exactly. I think they should blend in well, which they do heightwise very well - so no new upholstery.
Love the bamboo chairs but if reappolstering seats with funky pattern may make them look tiki like...like the seats the way they are...love your channel!
I normally don't go for anything close to boho but those aged bamboo stools are EVERYTHING. Love that they aren't just aesthetically pleasing and that you've prioritized comfort. Both sets of bamboo stools are so good in their own way- I can't wait to see what fabric you choose!
the stools are fricking perfect! they totally look like they've always been there and tie it all in. they're also way more inviting you just want to sit and hang out :) I actually really like the fabric and normally I don't love white white white but they look canvas-y? and the white or cream or whatever is actually I think what makes them work in with everything somehow. I'm sure you'd do a great job no matter what though. I would keep the fabric light colored for sure though.
The new barstools are fantastic and perfect for your place!... a much better fit than your previous ones. I must also admit that I love your bathroom tile -- especially the turquoise part and would really play it up (rather than fight against it), like with a complimentary wall paint -- brownish-peach or maybe even a brownish-burgundy? Sorry, I'm over here having fantasies about your bathroom, which is already lovely as it is.
Love the new stools!! They fit the space so much better, the older ones kind of blocked out that area. I like the current upholstery but a reupholster could look really nice too
I like the barstools just as they are...I wouldn't change the seat covers. They suit your home perfectly !! They don't have to match the other stools, I like the difference.
the stools are perfect and the current fabric looks so right! with the contrast piping on the other stools + the bamboo they coordinate without being too matchy
Love the stools... definitely getting more French bistro than boho vibe. That space feels lighter and more free. Love all the updates actually. Its looking good Paige :D
Maybe a lighter olive green for the barstool fabric to match but not match the other ones? In like a pencil stripe perhaps. Or an orange or red to match the kitchen tiles or carpet. Love those stools!
Love the new barstools. If you do re-cover, something similar to the green with piping to match the other ones would be good. That way even though they are a different stain, they'll still look like they go together. And thanks for the design high with that montage!
I love the new barstools a lot! I like the fabric as is, but if you wanted to match it more to the other stools you could do white/cream with dark green piping. Like reversed colors from the other stools so they kinda play off of each other.
i found your channel about 2 weeks ago and i binge watched everyone of your videos everyday. im so glad you posted again your personality and style is addicting
You’re a style guru! The additions, changes and updates you’ve made are positively impactful. Love the way you authentically show and explain the to and fro of your decision making process with design and decoration.
well, you know your kitchen floor pattern you got going --well, upholster stools with something that goes with your kitchen floor pattern...AND I also really love your new mirror setup piece,it's really beautiful and interesting...
When you brought out the stools, I literally gasped and said out loud "i LOVE them". They fit in the space so well. I like the fabric as is, or someone else suggested white and red to tie in with the floor, which also would work
Love the stools! Height is perfect for the counter. Wouldn't reupholster the seats. The light color shows off the wood on the counter and the design of the top part of the stools. I like the tailored look of it all. Maybe if you want some color or pattern a back lumbar cushion? Anyway love all the changes you made! Have fun!
Those stools are perfection I'm jealous 😂 I think reupholstering them will make them even less boho looking. A fun pattern, not too dark not too light would be nice.
Better choice! Less chumminess. The slimmer the furniture the more open the look. The upholstery is fine because it uses less space. Your space is SMALL. A heavy drape is better short. A lighter weight curtain will make your space look larger.❤
I absolutely adore the new bar stools, definitely the right call. Also love the mirror in your room-it has such an Italian vibe, like the furniture pieces you see on display in a fine art museum. The striped curtains are to die for. Despite the different styles, everything goes well-a testament to your talent. Thank you for the inspiration ~

love the new stools as is. solid off white lets the sculptural quality of the bamboo do its thing. tiny pic to the left of mirror shelf was the right move.
Absolutely love the new barstools!!! I would keep the fabric- I love the contrast! They work so well in the space and neutralize all the rectangular shapes at the bar. Got me inspired to look for curvy stools as well! greetings from Germany!
Your new bar stools are to die for!! So cute and just the right scale for your space. love the bamboo, the design etc! The other ones were very nice too, but just too big and clunky for your space.

Literally gasped at the new barstools. Much better fit. I like the fabric as is…
Saaaaaame! I looooove them! Even the backs are the perfect height for that area. #sojelly #doesanyoneevensaythatanymore #mwah
Agreeeed! Please keep it as it is.
Also a fan of the nice cream fabric!
Agreed. They're not my personal taste but I think they work so well in the room.
Totally agree. The stools look SO good.
Duly noted. 💐
With changing the water every other day, what about plant food? Do you just use a little in each water change, or not use any at all?

100 per cent!
Agree!
Agree. The light fabric also kind of echoes the light squares on the floor. Cute.
I think Paige still is going to reupholster those lol.
Yes, leave the fabric (but interested to see what you come up with )
LOVE THE BAMBOO STOOLS WITH ALL MY HEART
same!
I like the barstool fabric as is, the bamboo is already unique and draws the eye, the fabric doesn't need to be interesting.
I don't think you should reupholster the bar stools, they are perfect ❤
Your textiles have a real Father's Day button down feel. Very handsome but would be too much for my Daddy issues on an every day basis. Love the new stools.
This is so freakin funny😅😅😅
You're hilarious
HA!
Somehow, YES
definitely
The new fabric of the barstools could be dark red and creme white stripes - very bistro and it would mach your kitchen flooring :) Greetings from Germany!
“Don’t pay attention to my hair, my outfit or my bloat today.” Paige, you look great! Don’t be too hard on yourself.
Was thinking the same thing - you look amazing/effortless in what appears to be a post workout look
"Straight as hell just like me" is crazy 🤣
The beginning of Paige’s boho era!!! Huge
Also I have a strange inkling that the teal would look less pb if the walls were like red or something. Might be crazy
A very satisfying episode! The new barstools are 🔥, not only are they cuter than the old ones, they are also a better fit for the space, it can breathe now!

Came to say this! The tile is gorgeous.
Same here. I also liked the old shower curtain better. I do like the new striped curtains in the bedroom, looks fresh.
I like the tiles too. Very LA
I like the tiles but wouldn't recommend a red wall in the bathroom if you'll ever use it to put on makeup
I’m not in love with the tile but it’s cheery and I’d play it up as well.
But my style is more traditional. I’d probably wallpaper the bathroom and my shower curtain would be patterned and I’d put a curtain around the sink.

I really would be curious to see the bathroom re-done in a way that compliments those green/aqua tiles instead of kind of ignoring them lol. They're there! And they throw things off a bit. Obsessed with everything else though!
Oh wow! Those old barstools were like heckin captains chairs!
New stools are so elegant!
Yes
The scale is much better for the space
was sad to see those stools go but NEW ONES ARE SO GOOD. totally get your vision.
Bistro chairs add a little bit of coziness and character. So does the mirror. Love the new updates and can’t wait for the shower curtains!
The stools are gorgeous, looks so much better then the old ones

Yesssss amazing new barstools.
Aren't the new stools bentwood rather than bamboo? Like a Thonet... so more Edwardian/Art Nouveau than boho

Love the stools! They are perfect. The fabric looks fine, but they’d also look nice with a bold pattern.
Love the new barstools!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BARSTOOLS
The new barstools look great. Look really nice with the wood of the bar 👍
Love the new stools!! And no reupholstering needed imo!
You’re a style guru! The additions, changes and updates you’ve made are positively impactful. Love the way you authentically show and explain the to and fro of your decision making process with design and decoration.
Love the new barstools. I would keep the beige fabric as is.
well, you know your kitchen floor pattern you got going --well, upholster stools with something that goes with your kitchen floor pattern...AND I also really love your new mirror setup piece,it's really beautiful and interesting...
Love the stools! Do white with green piping to match the other stools

I totally love the new chairs. I wouldn’t change a thing. 👍
The new barstools are 10/10! Beautiful flowers, too. Thanks for sharing your home with us again!
absolutely beautiful stools. suggestions for re-upholstering: tomato red leather, glossy really dark brown leather, grassy green leather.
Love the new bar stools. The current fabric is great. Creates a good visual palette cleanser.
Have fun!
Love the new bar stools! I agree a pattern will look so nice!
Love the bar stools. Always knew you'd change them when you found the right ones, and you definitely found the right ones!
THE VANITY IS IMMACULATE YES IM SCREAMING
I like the stools. Do not reupholster. The clear fabric lights up the room. They are perfect 😊
Those stools are perfection I'm jealous 😂 I think reupholstering them will make them even less boho looking. A fun pattern, not too dark not too light would be nice.
Ha, I'm a June 17 birthday too. Love the new stools and mirror thing.
Bar stools are FABULOUS! I don't mind the fabric they came in but the green is super cool.
The montage at the end with the music was chef’s kiss.
New stools are are a much better fit in terms of weight and proportion. If you want a common link with your other backless stools you could carry through the cream/white piping onto the new cushions and introduce a small print fabric with a tiny amount of the dark green in it. I wouldn't go with a bold print or solid colour as they will be seen alongside your sofas and rug, not the other stools. Great updates - mirror thingy is weird and wild and wonderful in your space - and always enjoy your videos. Thank you.
The new bamboo barstools are perfect
My sister has the same birthday as you. I don’t live in Chicago but I live in northwest Indiana about an hour away so I’m going to try to come to the pop up. I love the new barstools. The fabric is good but very light. You might want to get a darker fabric if you’re worried about stains.
love the new stools as is. solid off white lets the sculptural quality of the bamboo do its thing. tiny pic to the left of mirror shelf was the right move.
Absolutely love the new barstools!!! I would keep the fabric- I love the contrast! They work so well in the space and neutralize all the rectangular shapes at the bar. Got me inspired to look for curvy stools as well! greetings from Germany!
Those stools have the perfect visual weight for that space. Excited to see what fabric you choose for them. Can't wait for the Chi popup!
Your new bar stools are to die for!! So cute and just the right scale for your space. love the bamboo, the design etc! The other ones were very nice too, but just too big and clunky for your space.
Ooh the curves, colors, chunk lines of the seats in the barstools!
