In my personal opinion about the notepads; I think making them cheaper and smaller would be better. Maybe you could one day look into notebooks and make those higher quality paper and bigger? At least personally I use notepads as discardable, so i don't want to spend much money on them. Also thinner paper and smaller size means they are easier to carry around and take notes in on the fly But that is just my personal opinion. Either way I'm sure the pads will turn out looking cute
I agree. As an artist I understand not wanting to squish the art on a smaller pad, but at the same time, such a large pad is excessive and honestly not worth the price you have to pay for Bailey to make a decent profit. The mid-size ones she makes are pretty much perfect.
Baylee, the pilling happens on acrylic/polyester. If they were cotton, or a mix with mostly cotton, they wouldn't pill, with wear or washing. Only thing is, I'd expect they'd cost more x Nell

I think it would be cute if you did a full planner book for the beginning of the year. I would love to see something that has stickers in it, a page to take notes, then dividers separating the months. To have something custom made like that with your art with a cute theme I would pay good money for. I also think it would be cute to making coloring books of your art.
Instead of getting rid of the rulling on your notepads, have you thought of a dotted grid that's commonly used in bullet journaling? Easy way to keep you writing straight without having ruling it also offers more opportunity for blocking off sections of the background and having neat layouts.
I just wanted to echo another comment I saw below about notepad size. As cute as the larger ones are, the quarter page with the lines (like the witch hat one) feels a lot more practical and like the type of notepads I gnerally use since it doesn't take up too much space and is easy to carry around. That's just my two cents though and I know they'll look amazing no matter what size you choose!
Hi Baylee. Just a little info on the material. It's piling because of the type of fabric. It should be cotton/polyester. The polyester is lower in price, but it always starts piling. It might be a little bit $$ but so worth it. Cotton/polyester should stop that. I hope this info is helpful for u 😊.
Combo 2 would make a cute patch/ embroidered pin. I used to make patches on the felt rectangles they sell at craft stores. Not sure if it would be cost effective, but another thing that would be cute is have the stem be made of thick nylon cord so the strawberry could swing around

Maybe have a look at gildan if you haven’t already? (I don’t know if you have sorry lol) I have a few blank cotton sweaters from them and their colour selection is decently wide
You also need to work on new designs for Christmas and fall…. So you are not scrambling last minute. Unless your fall and holiday focus will be embroidery items. ❤
I would be so happy if you chose the thin zip up hoodie option. As someone who lives in a hot climate, the pullover sweaters aren’t really an option for me as I’d wear them maybe 3 days a year whereas zip ups I can wear a bit more. If it was a thinner material I could wear it waaaay more too! I really want to order one of your embroidery designs and that might be the only way I can justify buying it
In my opinion, the combo you used on the weekly planner pad was my least favourite one 😅. It's just that the leaves were placed together a bit awkwardly ... if I were you I would at least place one of the flowers on top of the area where the leaves meet. That way it would cover up the transition between the two and make it look more seamless ❤
Working from home my fur kids love to help me..I work designing for garment from over 30 years for shirts/ sweats I have swatch cards with actual shirts from the all the manufacturers. Websites are terrible for color matching. We have industry shows called Impressions shows, check to see if you can attend. Love wearing Gilman soft style and Bella are nice (run Small). Almost all sweatshirts will pill over time.
Not sure what you intend on storing in the freezer but if you plan on using it to stock up on anything I'd suggest looking into a sensor with an alert that connects to your phone if the temp gets below a certain level. I watch this homesteader on RUclips who just lost a whole tall standing freezer full of food because the door didn't close all the way. Yikes.
as a eu small business enthiousiast i love when i can instantly regonize a size (regarding the notepads) i know im gonn alike A5 and A6 and i wont go smaller than something square thats bigger than a post it but with those i always have to grab my ruler and i just know what A6/A5 is gonna look like

Hey, so about the zip-up hoodie that you were wearing at the beginning of this vlog, I can't be 100% certain, but I think my small game studio ordered the very same model with our* logo embroidered (AFX90UNZ) and basically all I wanted to say is it took embroidery perfectly and I've personally been wearing mine for months (large size) and the pilling really isn't that prevalent on mine so yeah, I'd say don't dismiss this zip-up hoodie too quickly! It's one of my most comfy zip-ups and I wear it all the time so I'm sure your buyers would love it too! :)

About 6 years ago I bought a zip up hoodie from wish, bright orange with the design ironed on. I've washed it, stained it and shaved the pilling over and over again and the color still hasn't faded. The brand name licensed merch I've seen on others have faded, became really thin and loose their shape. Long story short, pilling may not be that bad if color and quality last Just my humble opinion 🤗
None of my Gildan sweatshirts pill, and they're amazing quality! But they are pricy because of that. I wonder if that might be an option down the line?

60lb text, not 60lb cover. It's standard from nearly all notepad suppliers I've looked at. It should be similar to my Witch Hat notepads, and all my square planner pads.

I’d rather buy cotton personally, and don’t mind paying for quality! Cotton breathes too. Polyester makes me sweat and stink.

You could do dots in the middle instead of lines. The dots could be tiny strawberry seeds 🍓

As crazy as it sounds, if you have green olives in a jar, put a bit of the juice on a plate for your cat. It's like catnip and they go nuts for it!

I use hairspray con the sides of my sweaters every time I wash them and it helps reduce peeling by quiet a bit.

The ones I tested ARE from the same company. They make several different zip ups, but not one that matches the other sweater types.
