That’s the cool part about art. You can take 4 months, 4 hrs, 40 minutes, or even 4 seconds. Art is Art and it doesn’t matter how much time you spend on it. You make art with the time that you’ve got.
Crazy how everyone is so different. I place one at a time for any diamond art I'm doing, big or small, because I don't want it to end. It is so relaxing for me. Something I don't need to think about. Just do it and listen to a book or watch a show. I just wish I could find a use for all the ones I did - the finished projects aren't really my 'style' but I just love doing them!
Was great to read this comment.... I just bought a medium sized DP from DAC.... for a first time canvas.... lol. Was hoping it wasn't a mistake. Hoping to join Jingle Drills 2023.
SAME! I just did a huge one for Christmas from my in laws and even though it was stressing me out, I started another one the very next day 😂 Question: do you use the wax or something else for the pen? They all anger me! 😂
I do diamond painting when I’m watching movies or shows at the end of the day. I really just want something for my hands to do, and It definitely accomplishes that. You chose a beautiful picture. It is fun to see you trying something new. Your art is always something I enjoy watching.
Girl, I had a diamond painting that was a fraction of the size you have and I worked on it for a solid month and then didn’t work on it and then finished it a year later. So trust me since you had a larger one and was able to commit this much, I truly respect that.
It's not about how big they are, it's about the time you have to spend on them. I could never spend more than an hour at the time even if I wanted to, because I don't have enough time: I go to University, I have to study at home and I have a job, but I really would like to start one of these. Hopefully when I'm done with the exam session I will have more free time.
@@alessiabasciuJust get one honestly Even if you can work 1 hour on on it during your free time , it's not that important Diamond painting is about relaxing like other hobbies , a huge piece is so much fun to work on it , just take your Time and enjoy :)
Whenever you find free time just do it I'm in school during summer and all the other breaks we get I do it it's fun and the results ilare stunning! @@alessiabasciu
I did one that was bigger than this one one at a time, I did it in about a month I think. It was hard because all the colors where dark, though I have a problem if I start something like this it's difficult for me to stop. I'm going to start a new colourful one tomorrow, I'm so excited, just forget about all my problems for a moment.
As a crafter, when I saw the size I was like OMG she must be crazy lol Then the amount of color and detail in the piece, I knew it was going to be so much work. The one thing I learn in crafting is more color more work. Congrats on finishing it and your motivation to finish this was so inspiring. 💙
💙 that’s beautiful! Motivation is always so hard to keep😭 every time i try to make an animatic i give up after a few frames because i get bored, but I’m glad you managed to keep it up long enough to finish!
Even though i’m not a big fan of art, after seeing this has made me way more motivated to draw.Because of seeing how patient you are,it’s blown my mind! 🤯
I know she had talked about it before but it blows my mind how she (and anybody) can work with those nails! It's like a different world to me lol. But I have a pretty bad nail biting habit so (which I know is gross but ya know)
I totally get what youre saying abt it being tedious because its a predetermined pattern. I personally love diamond paintings and pre-patterned ebroidery and things like that because it's satisfying seeing a piece come together as you follow a pattern. I love hearing your take on these types of projects ❤❤
I feel your struggle with getting motivation. I feel like diamond painting could be a relaxing hobby for a lot of people but it wasn’t that for you. You also had to set up your lights, camera, out on makeup/outfit, do your intro, speak to your viewers. That’s a lot! You couldn’t just sit in sweatpants and zone out and relax! I give you a lot of credit for pushing thru and finishing this! Im only part way thru the video so far and am already impressed. As a person who is self employed I also find it very hard to get motivation to even get dressed some days, I sit behind a computer and talk on the phone, no one sees me, if I didn’t have my dog I probably wouldn’t leave my house for days. I’ve always been an introvert but the pandemic just made my hermit tendencies even worse, I started crochet a few months ago and it’s become a great hobby for my anxiety and it gets me to out to the craft store, I see family more often now bc I’m making them gifts all the time, sending them pics of inspiration and my progress, etc. Motivation is a pain in the butt for sure, thanks for being so open about it in this video
WOW Temi! Absolutely outstanding level of dedication to finish this-it looks INCREDIBLE!!! I’d love to see a diamond painting of some of your own art! Love your content 🎨👍🏻💜😊
I am an absolute freak for diamond painting. I love placing each individual diamond and watch the picture come to life. I am currently working on my biggest painting right now. Omg,determination is key and as a person who adores diamond painting, a big tray is the best! I brought a kit to put my diamonds in and it came with lots of different sized applicators and a huge version of the white tray and it’s a game changer. My current project is one that I custom ordered, and it’s one o& my dog. It’s so rewarding to see it all come together 💙💙
Would be really cool to see you get a custom one made from one of your pieces of art! Would highly recommend getting at least 1 large tray if you do another one, those tiny trays would drive me up the wall haha

I love art but I cannot even draw and I don't have patience for a 4 month diamond art that is why I love temi Danso this channel has teached me a lot of life lessons I hope you become a famous artist one day I randomly found this Channel and I started to love your Channel
I love the finish product but my favorite part is the whole process of putting diamonds down on the canvas. I find it very relaxing while listening to an audiobook. I tend to fidget a lot so this keeps my hands occupied
That diamond painting is so gorgeous. I just finished my third one. I haven't done large ones because I don't like how long they take, especially since I use them to relax for the day rather than for decoration. What helps me when I'm doing a colour I find dull or don't like is to work in smaller sections and stay in the square. It helps me push through that colour and listening to podcasts and RUclips videos is so nice while I do this. Especially true crime!
I have been doing diamond art since May of 2019, and i think that 4 months is a rather short amount of time for the size of the painting you chose! Im glad you thought it was pretty!! Happy painting in the future!!
I know cross stitch isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but this process is exactly how I feel when I complete one. I have 4 kids and do other art so cross stitch is harder to complete. It’s so satisfying when you complete one though.
that was gorgeous! It's not surprising though that the motivation was lacking. As an artist used to making your own art, this probably felt nothing like an art project. I think you need to see it more in a puzzle mentality than an artistic mentality. it's all about putting the pieces in the right place, not so much about creating something new, even if it does create something gorgeous at the end. I would honestly love to see you make your own version of a diamond art piece, I think your style would lend itself well to it. Maybe as an extra challenge you could aim to make a small piece with the colours you have left over from this one? that could be fun. 💙💙
I've never done diamond painting, I relate to that motivation issue as I have a massive cross stitching project that is around 3 to 4 Ft. in both length and width, I hate to say i never have time to work on it with my classes, I've been working on it for over a year. This turned out beautiful!!!!! Nice work!!!
oh man! i love diamond paintings, i've completed about 4 that are around this same size and one that was even bigger but i can totally understand that this art isn't for everyone. it takes a lot of patients and determination. i just love the way they look finished, especially if framed. i also enjoy the fact that its kind of mind numbing, like you don't have to think at all and you can just turn off the world and focus on this. I also take a long time to complete mine bc im not doing a lot in one sitting. Just whenever i get a free 30 mins or an hour then ill sit down and work on it then eventually its done and the sense of accomplishment feels great!
I wish I could show you all the diamond paintings I have done! I have close to 80 that's ive done and I'm working on a new one now! I love how this one looks you done! It is beautiful!
Goodness gracious, this wasn’t an art project but rather a journey. I really appreciate you documenting the process. I’m not sure I have the patience to complete such a project yet obviously you do and it turned out incredibly beautiful. Exceptional well done. I hope you found a great place to hang it where you can admire it on a daily basis. So cool!
I love art! I recently started a diamond art landscape and honestly I am enjoying doing it. I never wanted to rush myself and if anything I was doing it for the fun. I was in the mood to do art but not wanna draw! I got 1 section done in 1 day and it is looking so nice. I have 12 sections and I love to watch you while working on them.
I love diamond painting, its the closest I've ever come to feeling meditative. and yeah, it takes a long time, but you get faster at it. I usually fire up an audio book and just go to town :D (P.S. I only ever use one diamond at a time, using those rows terrifies me that I'm going to mess up my colors O_O) but honestly, its like cross stich but easier, since you don't have to worry about thread lengths, direction of the top stich in your cross, etc :)
That's so satisfying I love it I love your videos You're so thought You're so active and kind I love your nails I love your opinion to me I love YOU I LOVE YOUR ART I LOVE IT YOU HAVE SUCH AN AMAGENATION
Diamond paintings do take foreverrrrr. I’ve done smaller ones than that and have taken about that long. It’s hard to find time when I have so much going on. And then I have to try to find a balance so I don’t burn out of diamond painting. The excitement of the completion is what makes me want to diamond paint more and more. Also the new kit of tools I got for Christmas
I saw someone doing 4x4 squares but I did 3x3 inch squares. Once I did that I blew thru it. I would honestly do 20 min at a time because my neck and back hurt but each time I would just plow thru it. Just finished my first big painting last night. I have a new one coming today. I have been watching The Maya Kowalski Trial.
I started diamond painting mid July 2023, and I'm working on my 32nd painting, currently! Thanks for sharing your beautiful picture; great job, Temi, Sherrey🍁
I've been working on a diamond art piece, and I can't believe it's already been maybe half a year. I've just been way to lazy so I'm glad you pushed through (I could never).
Diamond painting takes a really long time so do, so seeing you go through this is crazy to me! I have one at home that i got in the Christmas of 2020 and i started it, then gave up, years later, started it again, and gave up lol. Ive been tempted to keep going but idk wear most of the diamonds, or “drills” as they’re called, are in my room 🤠
This is such a beautiful peice! For your next one though, I recommend a smaller price. My first diamond painting was a bookmark, and I’m currently working on a 30x40 centimeter hello kitty diamond painting, just be patient with each one because the end result is totally worth it!
Wow! That's pretty cool. I like to listen to audibles or podcasts while I diamond paint. I can get through an audible pretty quickly while diamond painting if I like the audible
It’s so interesting to me to see people they just can’t stay motivated to work on diamond art. I can’t ever step away from mine. And when I’m not working on it, I’m thinking about working on it 😂😂 it absolutely helps ease my anxiety
Most people who have never done this start with a small one to get the hang of it.... but since you started larger.... I understand why it took you longer...... but now you have the hang of it so it will go faster for you..... I always do the larger ones.... I do the squares.... I prefer them to the rounds...... Mine are usually the really BIG ones...But I really love this stuff !!!! LOL......This one you did is really pretty. !!!!!
I love you energy and personality so much!! Youre soo likeable tbh. Also Holly crap you have the patience of a saint. The only craft i threw within 5 minutes was embroidery but if i had tried this, i wouldn't have finished it lol
I fell out laughing when you said to yourself that you were going to compete it in 24 hrs.😀 I've started a new diamond painting that is 34" wide by 16" length. I have been at it for 5 days, having worked on it for about 32 hrs, and I have completed about 38% of it, and this is not my first diamond painting. It is rough going when you have neck problems. I have to have this finished by the end of June for a wedding present. It will have to be sealed and framed. and ready to be gifted in mid-July.
This looks so cool. No doubt I would get goo goo eyes if I attempted this craft! Heck, I got goo goo eyes just watching a short clip of you working! I had never heard of "diamond painting" until I heard it mentioned on a card making tutorial I was watching (go figure!). I searched "diamond painting" on you tube and picked this video. What a surprise to me. This isn't even close to what I had imagined (lol)! In my mind, I honestly thought you were going to use a specialty paint and a small paint brush to apply a tiny drop of paint onto each colored "dot"! I know this is random but this reminds me of "pergamono" (spelling ???). Beautiful project! TFS
None of the diamond paintings that I have found have that second tool that picks up more, only the single tool. Thanks for sharing where you got the picture! ✨
that is amazing. I did my first one on my birthday last year (2022) and I have now done personal photos turned into diamond art. When it's photos of things you love in the art, it makes you want to do it non stop :D I hope to see more.
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙. Beautiful. Great job. I have ordered my first ones , but havent started yet. I am waiting for my light pad to come in. So excited , but know there is lots of work ahead of me. Im all in , so cant wait. I love crafts and this is definately a new one for me. TFS. Hugs from Ontario,Canada 🤗🇨🇦🍁
Girrrrrl I feel you. I started this diamond painting that’s still sitting in the corner of my room that I never finished (which I should). Perhaps this will motivate me to finish it.. ❤️
I love diamond painting have done it for around two years it’s not for everyone and that’s okay! This also looks confetti heavy which maybe why it has taken so long. Start off with something small to as a beginner like a 30x30 or 30x40 and move up but congratulations on finishing it! ❤️❤️
I love diamond painting! I use multi placers a lot. The 6 and 3 players are my favorite. Also, museum putty is my go to for diamond painting. It works better than the red wax and you don't use as much.
OMG YES As a diamond art girl, i have NEVER seen people for the first time doing this use the multiple diamond applicators If you do this again you should get these squared sealer off temu and they give you sectione to do of your diamond art!
So, I just recently discovered your channel and have been watching a ton of your videos. I've noticed a trend of you starting videos saying "if I knew how long/difficult this would be, I wouldn't have done it!" And yet every video ends with a beautiful finished product. I think it might be time to admit that you're actually very VERY patient ☺️
It’s a mixture of music and musicals while I’m diamond painting. I like to use the single dot rather than the four diamonds that my kit offers. It’s been relaxing when I’m adding each diamond to see how far I’ve come in such a short time.

I get impatient when a drawing takes me longer than a *day* , I cannot imagine four months
💙💙💙💙 I love how you kept it real about being motivated and time frames to get thing completed
Wow this is beautiful, looks like it was worth it! 😉
💙💙💙 Way to stick to it and not give up. Well done you!
I would never be able to do this lol. Im not patient enough. Kudos to you for even finishing this lol
That's so satisfying I love it
I love your videos You're so thought
You're so active and kind
I love your nails I love your opinion to me
I love YOU I LOVE YOUR ART
I LOVE IT
YOU HAVE SUCH AN AMAGENATION
4 months?! I would've given up after 2 days 😭😭😭
LOL I was close😅
Diamond paintings do take foreverrrrr. I’ve done smaller ones than that and have taken about that long. It’s hard to find time when I have so much going on. And then I have to try to find a balance so I don’t burn out of diamond painting. The excitement of the completion is what makes me want to diamond paint more and more. Also the new kit of tools I got for Christmas
Who in 2024?
I love how much you improved while doing it!
I have been doing diamond paintings for almost 2 years now I absolutely love it…so relaxing…very time consuming but it helps me with my anxiety
This was a really big painting to start out with! You did such an amazing job
💙💙💙💙 Ur such an artist I respect u do much for not stopping YOU GO GIRL!
i like to watch videos just like this when im creating! it's fun to feel like im crafting with friends c:
I love you energy and personality so much!! Youre soo likeable tbh. Also Holly crap you have the patience of a saint. The only craft i threw within 5 minutes was embroidery but if i had tried this, i wouldn't have finished it lol
You have gorgeous nails! Also I had a bit of a chuckle when you forgot to take the plastic off. 😂
My favourite thing to listen to while doing art projects are long rise and fall videos about influencers.
You’re doing the one I’m choosing!!!Motivation!!
I fell out laughing when you said to yourself that you were going to compete it in 24 hrs.😀 I've
started a new diamond painting that is 34" wide by 16" length. I have been at it for 5 days, having
worked on it for about 32 hrs, and I have completed about 38% of it, and this is not my first diamond
painting. It is rough going when you have neck problems. I have to have this finished by the end of
June for a wedding present. It will have to be sealed and framed. and ready to be gifted in mid-July.
I love how you shared this I remeber having the same thoughts my first diamond painting. I had no idea what the wax was! Love this!
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Love your vids.
It was so calming and relaxing to watch you struggle lol.
The dedication u showed is amazing 😍
TFS
Looks great! Nice that you finished it on top of all the art you also do for work. 💙
The final product was so beautiful! I would have given up 💙💙
Good job for just pushing through it at the end. 💙
None of the diamond paintings that I have found have that second tool that picks up more, only the single tool. Thanks for sharing where you got the picture! ✨
I’ve been working on one since england had a Covid lockdown I just got back to doing it ❤
Your voice is so calming
Thank you! Im new to diamond painting & loved watching you learn! Beautiful picture. Great accent & voice too 😃
that is amazing. I did my first one on my birthday last year (2022) and I have now done personal photos turned into diamond art. When it's photos of things you love in the art, it makes you want to do it non stop :D
I hope to see more.
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙. Beautiful.
Temi, This art is BEAUTIFUL -blue heart-
I love diamond painting have done it for around two years it’s not for everyone and that’s okay! This also looks confetti heavy which maybe why it has taken so long. Start off with something small to as a beginner like a 30x30 or 30x40 and move up but congratulations on finishing it! ❤️❤️
You put all of you time into these💙💙💙
I love diamond painting! I use multi placers a lot. The 6 and 3 players are my favorite. Also, museum putty is my go to for diamond painting. It works better than the red wax and you don't use as much.
OMG YES
As a diamond art girl, i have NEVER seen people for the first time doing this use the multiple diamond applicators
If you do this again you should get these squared sealer off temu and they give you sectione to do of your diamond art!
I love your work and everything you do is a blessing to this world
Wow! That was exhausting for me and I was just watching it! Thanks my lovely 😊
Have a beautiful day ❤
It’s a mixture of music and musicals while I’m diamond painting. I like to use the single dot rather than the four diamonds that my kit offers. It’s been relaxing when I’m adding each diamond to see how far I’ve come in such a short time.
Very inspirational. Thank you for uploading this video.
💙💙💙💙💙💙GOOD JOB!!!! I KNOW THAT TOOK SO MUCH EFFORT BUT YOU DID IT!!!
I don't understand why people hated you guys I the past and maybe now. You're awesome! 💗💖
💙💙💙 these hearts are for your effort 😊
