A short video showing you how to use Bimmercode to change your instrument Cluster to different modes and allow you to customize it to the option you choose.
There’s the M Version, Alpina and M Sport with different MPH settings. Then I also show you how to change your I drive to have a different start up animation. Hope you enjoy.
This should work on any new G series BMW and any that already have the new digital Cluster that bmw offers.

Is there any way to use the M dash but have it display the mode you are in? Between sport, sport individual, and sport plus, it’s hard to know which one I’m in. All your vids have been so helpful, thank you!!!
For some reason when I code in the “M” display it says “3.0CSL” at the top instad of M

Hey man! I ask Stephen from Bimmercode when are we getting SAS2 Module, he replied saying they are looking into it. I guess the more request they get from us the faster they will update it to Bimmercode.

Have you considered removing the resonator? There’s such a big difference when it’s removed while sports plus is coded, and no drone either!
When your done coding to you just unplug it ? Or do you leave it plugged in?

Hi, I’ve just coded the M animation for the head unit, but I see that it only appears when locking the car from the outside. Can you somehow make it to show up when entering the car?

Can you completely shut off the driver assist systems except blind spot monitoring?
Thanks for the video. The M option is the best but somehow when the transmission is in Sport mode the indicator for the gear disappears, and when I activate the manual it appears back… Does it happen to you also ?
This is Normal it only shows your gears when in manual. Then if you don’t use it it will revert back to full auto and just show D

Even when I go on the headunit, it tells me something like the coding is not possible because it is not in its original state. I bought the full version from the itself tho
I know I asked a lot, would it matter that much any type of adaptors ? what I'm using so is OBD veekpeak which kinda limiting most of the codings,

I noticed that the gas and miles to empty changed when changing to M mode? just curious does it adjust or it that something I should even be worried about....Miles to empty started out at 366 then changed to 370..

Cool video bro. Questions why does my dash cluster dims down during the day. During night time is nice and bright
It dims according to the lighting around you. You can adjust the brightness with the small lighting wheel to the left of the steering wheel (or right if your car is right side drive.) Though, if your front windows are tinted this may be affecting the automatic lighting.
Hey I am considering an m340i 2020 used. I am worried about the reliability though I know people say b58 is reliable but its a BMW lol. How has your been? Is it expensive to maintain are the parts that expensive etc? Would be coming from a q50 Infiniti
These recent bmw engines have been extremely reliable. I wouldn’t let the stereotype concern you. Parts are a bit more expensive but it’s a luxury European vehicle so no way really getting around that if you’re looking at a Bmw, Merc, Audi, ect unfortunately. I haven’t had to buy any expensive parts myself yet.

Hello mate, i recently bought second hand bmw g20 330i 2019 and the bmw navi not working ( it takes forever to load ), also i cant connect apple carplay and myBMW app ( it says it cannot locate vehicle ), can you help me and tell what to do? I am a noob and you have a lot of knowledge in this topic :D maybe some firmware update? also there is alpina cluster coded by previous owner, will it be a problem in case of bmw firmware update?

It won’t affect it but if your car is updated everything you coded will be removed and you’ll have to code again.

After coding the "M Performance" logo, I got an error, and whole my Live Cockpit was reset, and the whole car showed error messages, all instrumental cluster icons messed in the start, petrol indicator doesn't work.

Fully functional , i had no issues from what I’ve noticed
Its shit how BMW havnt given many options to change the dials like analogue style dials and rev counter in the middle etc

I have a 530e G30 and I have coded the M-Cluster.
But my Problem is, that the battery control on the right is missing.
Do you know if its possible to get it back in the M-Cluster?
Maybe in Expert Mode?
Unfortunately i don’t think you can. The 530e is an electric model and the M model is a full blown V8 without the same battery so it won’t have that option .

At the Moment Iam using the connected drive app or voice command to watch for the battery ☺️

No way to upgrade the audio without adding an amp or some kind of other components first.
can you put m340i on a 330i?
Does the m gauge not show the redline at 6000 rpm?
For some reason it doesn’t, so be sure to shift before 7000rpm
Its so crazy that we are not at the time where we can actually customize it ourselfs, its to dark, why isnt there a light mode instead of this dark mode shit.

I love the M ,M with 160 mph could be enough for me, 200 mph is too much but is ok

@@rearwheeled8147 i actually changed my cluster from 160 to 200. Was wondering if changing that will affect my engine's performance? Or was it just in my head since I'm used to seeing the clusters go faster. Now it feels slower since its a higher value
I know dumb question but I was just curious hahaha
Just in your head. It builds up slower since the total mph is greater but coding the cluster can’t have any effect on performance.
