Us folks in cold weather climate would love to have the separate brushes for tire shine, but it's another brush and hose that we have to connect to the weep system to keep it from freezing. It's tricky in cold water climates, but it can be done!

When you were at the convention in Nashville, did you by any chance meet meet Luke smith from the Pittsburgh area? I think he works for Simoniz.

The Quarter for 40 seconds isn't that bad of an idea.... Maybe you just want to spray off your floor mat from a spilled drink. Or spray out the bed of a truck or uHaul rental trailer. When you aren't looking to do a true "wash"... Just rinse & go. Versus needing to spend $5 just to get the system started (here in my city that's the average).

What do you say to people who say the self serve car wash industry is dying? Theres these fancy membership touchless washes which are nice but I feel like there always will be a spot for self serve. Curious your take

I’m looking at a 6 bay that appears to have suddenly closed locally but have not contacted owner yet. What is the average revenue per bay and vacuum on a carwash that has all your upgrades?

I've been told the national average is around $1200/bay/month. But if you're the best in town, you have good chemicals, and your equipment works consistently, you could be looking at $4000-$4500/bay/month. Based on conversations with distributors so take that with a pinch of salt

@@BayouBritSo you're saying that on average each bay only gets $45 per day? This is revenue?!?

You are a mile from the airport. That touchless is terrible. The dirt it is sitting on is worth a million so the owner is probably just waiting on someone to write him a check to shut down.

100% this. Most of the Nashville owners I've talked to want to sell for 1-2 million and the sites would need $200-400k to refurb with new automatics etc.
