Easily detachable barrels are a huge benefit even if you don’t plan on swapping calibers, it makes cleaning and maintenance so much easier.

As per usual, very cool content y’all are putting out.
My biggest question, although maybe not totally on-topic: do y’all have any update incoming on accuracy updates available to MDRX owners? Particularly a piston/op-rod upgrade from the concave/convex interface to flat/flat, & the JB Weld procedure for the MDRX barrel extension?
    Thanks in advance.

Please talk to the export dealers, Germany and some other places want a "non-military" looking Wolverine that can be certified there.
All it needs is a handguard with no cooling holes or top and side Mlok slots. Remove as much material as possible, but no look-through except for the gas port adjustment slot and maybe the bipod on the bipod-versions. Bottom row of Mlok is fine. Then just attach a muzzle brake with no flash hider and voila, an EU compliant gun that totally looks not militaristic.
Dumb rules be dumb, but at least compliance with them is easy.

shouldn't the locking screws be unfastened first- then unlock the barrel at barrel removal? Then reverse order at install? Or does it not matter?

Not sure if it changed with the WLVRN, but that was the explicit instruction on the MDRX.

Just a barrel swap? What about changes to the gas system?

Any word on when the aluminum handguard will be available?

They've said over and over (and over and over and over) that the MDRX hand guards are the same . . . so they already ARE available.

Would love to see a test on how well you hold zero after taking out the barrel and putting it back in. 10 round group, out, in, another 10 round group. Do that 10 times. No edits, one take it all. Shouldn't be too expensive, yet very cool results. Or do one where you alternate the 308win and the 6.5cm 5 times.

I have been doing just that over the last few weeks and I can tell you the WLVRN 100% returns to zero every time you take a barrel out and put the same barrel back in. The MDR didn't but the WLVRN does!
