Yes exactly. To be able to see the difference. And after the installation of the Polini High Maxi Speed variator, I measured the acceleration at different speeds of 20-30, 40-100 km / h, with an average improvement of about 2 seconds compared to Dr. Pulley's sliders.

1. Fuel consumption after mount Polini Maxi His speed increases (3,6-3.8l/100km in max open throtel in more cases) before was 3.2/100km.
Calm riding consumption with Polinis variomatik is 3,4/100km.
2. I checked variator rolls and belt after 1000km and I can't see any issues.
Now I was wondering new rollers 10,1g and hope change consumption and dinamic my Vespa hpe 300.
Appreciate the reply! I think it’s a small trade-off for the performance. I recently purchased a 2015 GTS that has a little belt slap, so I figured I might as well upgrade when I open the transmission.

A lot of people remove the pulley stop washer saying it’s a restricter, is it or does it just space the pulley so the belt won’t run off?
The role of this washer is to prevent the belt from getting too high at the end of the variator. If it is not there, the belt will dissolve outside the outer diameter of the variator and will rub the crankcase for the oil. With this variator the maximum speed was raised from 120 km / h to 130 km / h. Acceleration improved significantly compared to Pulley's sliders. If I want an even higher top speed I can put a 140/70/ 12 rear tire.

J. Costa pins according to users wear out for about 7500km. Separately keeps the engine at higher speeds than Polini hi maxi speed 9 rollers. Depending on the model of the J. Costa Evo 1,2,3, a wider washer must be fitted as it lifts the belt very high and rubs into the oil sump. The Polini maxi high speed variator is about 2 sec. faster comparison to Dr. Pulley's slides. I am very pleased with his performance. I'm expecting Dr. Pulley's slider-sized rollers the size of Polini's. And I plan to replace them to see what the effect would be. ;)
