If Kiko, Steve Vai, Dave Grohl and Rudy Sarzo started a band, they would never get anything done, because they'd be too busy just being nice to each other.
You are the best guitarist Megadeth has had since Dave started the band , which iv'e seen since the beginning. You have brought back an aggression that was lacking the past few years IMO. Your playing on Dystopia was incredible , that was one of my favorite in a long time. Rock on brother \m/ P.S your acoustic is my last name...
I love Kiko his energetic personality, playing, RUclips and yes he’s amazing. Yet you can’t so easily dismiss Marty who wrote alot of the early solos which Kiko is now playing.
@@johnmarano6588 Kiko has the technical ability, and cleanliness i playing. Marty's soul is really hard to beat though, and his improvisational modulation is maybe the best of all time. Better guitarist though, hard to say, Kiko is a technical master.
@@mablesfatalfable6021 more influential; because marty got to play during Dave's writing prime. If the roles were reversed Kiko would be hailed the way Marty is. Im sure Kiko would come up with equally badass shit if he was in that early Megadeth creative prime.
When you talk about how Black Sabbath/Tommi Iommi inspired you, I feel the same as you like Angra to me. The moment you pull out that 27th frets Jackson I was like BRUH.. And looking at my 27th frets LTD hanging on the wall. That hits me right in the feels. I wish I can re-experience the first time I listen to Nova Era. This video is really inspiring.

And what a wonderful and solid fellow he is as well, kind, but that Power, just his stature, and knowing, That Man, Invented our music...its amazing to me. I love the Kiko 100 best, but do love the AZ model or whatever it is woth the marron burst and block inlays.
Every SG Gibson I've played was neck heavy when standing which drives me nuts. They feel and sound great.
Don't the AZs come with stainless frets? Love that. Can't have too many guitars ever!

The LesPaul modern is killer.
I used to have a Les Paul Studio Light that was chambered with a Schaller floyd rose and I loved that guitar. It was stolen. 😭

Definitely should do a Kiko 200 with that finish and a 7 string version. But also I'd love to see you a 27 fret version with one of your sigs like the ESP's and Tagima's! Please! That Kiko 100 GreyBurst finish is sick too!

I love the AZ guitars and if you made a signature model with it I would be very tempted to add it to my collection. The red Kiko100 has been my main guitar for years
NO strat?? Come on that's a hipster move lol. The les paul, sg, but no strat! No hollowbodies either. If I'm having 15 guitars a hallowbody, strat are for sure on the list, no other guitars quite have the dynamics they do. Cool collection Kiko, just messing with ya.
Kiko, your Ibanez electric guitars are my dreams. Amazing beauties. My life goal is to have one of them!
Kiko is in my opinion the most complete guitar player out there. He has done it all: latin Jazz, thrash metal, instrumental rock, electronic music, power metal. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up doing some gigs with an orchestra.

@@acousticsoundz1985 Oh yes, I like Vai, too. When it comes to creativity and music theory knowledge Vai is in a category of his own. But in terms of technique Kiko is on a higher level.

Kiko, you said once that you admire Buckethead's work when I asked your opinion about him in the comments some time ago. Do you think that would be possible to play with him someday, maybe write a song or something? He produces very melodic pieces, just like you. A collab would be AWESOME!

SG middle pickup with tone half way is such a milky, thick sexy sound. Such a fast guitar too.

Love the "Stanley Jordan" setup guitar. I hope you make a video showing us what you're doing with that guitar...your approach etc. Maybe that will spark people to go and look Stanley Jordan up and see how amazing he is...if they don't already know. The Godfather of that technique.

Love all your guitars but I'm not a fan of "satin finish" in a general way. If I had a partnership with Ibanez, my preferred one would be a 7 string model, with sunburst finish (like your 1st one in the video) and evertune bridge. Reverse headstock would be a great option too !!! Thank you Kiko, hope we'll see more videos from you, you are a true source of inspiration. Cheers from France !!

Fine collection! Kiko 200 sunburst very nice! Yes love the AZ prototype excellent choice! Gibson SG definitely a keeper, I love Les Paul guitars, as well as the telecaster( ironically have the same one) my brother bought me the Ibanez 6 string GRG series aquaburst, ( cheaper model...) absolutely no complaints at all! For 250.00!! Highly recommend for folks on a budget! My brother definitely ate crow for supper that evening! 😋 beautiful acoustic selection. My 1st acoustic guitar Fender, it's old and my kids tell me mom just give it a proper viking funeral ( set it on fire and float it downstream at the creek..) but that's not happening 😕 I have a question for anybody here that's an advanced high level player: WHY ARE ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC GUITARS SO EXPENSIVE??? Especially the Yamaha ones??? Even used!!! I always try to buy locally ( I can barter and trade up/ only way I could afford the acoustic guitar I wanted!! Tearing up & crying helps...female..)🤣 however, it was still a bit pricey! Kiko have you ever considered making a line of acoustic electric guitars perhaps? Thanks for sharing 👍 🖤Kris IL ⚡ 🎸⚡💥

I had the opportunity to play Kiko's personal Ibanez acoustic when I met him. I have a serious love/hate relationship with Ibanez, but that thing played amazing.

That AZ is gorgeous (the red one)...wish I had one...will have to settle for an AZES when they finally get to New Zealand. I wanted my first guitar to be the KIKOSP2 as the others are out of my price range, ended up getting the RGRT421 (Walnut Flat), no complaints :D

Beautiful collection Kiko. My favorite is the Kiko 100 then the Black Gibson SG also the modern and custom black Les Paul guitars. You're original acoustic is amazing. Thank you for sharing Kiko. Yes, they are your tools. You are a professional musician, so each guitar has a different use. Same as a mechanic or a carpenters tools, they all have their own purpose. I say thank you for sharing what's in your tool box.

Hi Kiko, I have some guitars with fishmans and emgs, but honestly, I really like those DiMarzios on the Kiko200/100 models. Very versatile for many styles especially with that split switch. Hope you are well my friend.
