@@lucasmonteiro600 fazia um som assim até um tempo atrás, 2016 mas parei agora pra estudar, surgiu coisa mais técnica, meu som era deathcore e hardocore com elementos de jazz, contra tempos em alguns momentos e uma música que não repete nenhum riff, sou brasileiro de Brasília

Absolutely, not in my wildest dreams from the most distant corners of space, I'd ever thought I'd live long enough to witness John Freaking Petrucci serving burgers to fans. Also, seeing Mateus Asato, Tosin Abasi, and Kiko (among all the others in there), together, in the same place, 2 feet from each other... It's just reality shattering right in front of one's eyes. Congratulations, dear Kiko, I don't personally know you, but as once a fellow countryman to you, I saw that everything is possible when we put effort and love enough in our craft. Dreams do come true.
Petrucci is an amazing guy, i'm a big fan of him and DT. He's a beast with a guitar in hands, but in terms of personality, really humble and kind with his fans.

I love that the new generation of guitar heroes is pushing the techniques to a different level.
You see it with Tosin and all these amazing quirks with his thumb and those hammer on arpeggios.
You see it with Asato with his half step quick slides and double stops.
It is great that Kiko inserts himself among these geniuses that think outside the box, that surely helps him create masterpieces such as Open Source.
This camp was fun and inspiring. I took two of Kiko’s sessions and two with Andy Wood. All the artist’s performances were fantastic. Plus at one of the dinners talking music and influences and inspirations with Kiko and Andy was great. Down deep this whole thing is about no matter your level of playing we all share a deep love for guitar and music. Thanks to all of the artists who came and spent their time with us.
Kiko being impressed by other guitar players… means quite a lot on their skills.

tosin is absolutely inspirational, so much discipline and dedication you can tell he loves to just practice exercises and unconventional techniques that most people would get frustrated by.

Kiko's enthusiasm is contagious. At least he sends out a really cool guy vibe. I hope he is what he seems to be.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Tosin is on a completely different level. He's taking guitar to the next dimension.

It was such a great camp, thanks for taking the time to chat at the bar on the final night and reflect on the week as well as Satriani camp back in 2019!

I had to laugh that I was the only person who turned around when you entered the room around 5:15 (I have an ADHD diagnosis and that's further proof, as if I needed more). I'll never forget how I went over just to say hi after the first concert of the camp and to tell you how much I love "Open Source" and ended up talking for an hour (along with Avi, I believe was his name... dude with the Zelda shirt lol). That definitely started the week off on the right foot for me and it only got better from there. You're one of the best guitarists I've ever seen and a genuinely friendly guy.
I can't wait to see Megadeth in Irvine next week!
