Noiceeee. Hitfilm Express works very well for me. Did not crash once unlike Adobe Premiere. The only problem is the exporting time. Wish Hitfilm could use full power of both CPU and GPU and be more optimised
No disrespect to Javert, But I do find Oli's Tutorials far easier to follow along to. They seem more in-depth without skipping steps. Keep them coming.

The same method will work, but you just need to click the Stabilise option in the tracker panel. It's in the drop-down where "Transform" is selected by default.

Can you help me. I did everything you did in your video but then when i switch from layer to viewer i can't see my video. The screen is just black. But when i switch from composite shot to editor then I see my video again. But the problem then is I can't put an emoji or something like that on my face because in the composite shot i can't see my face because the screen is black. I hope somebody can help :)
Here it is for the rotation. If you put a cartoon hat on someone’s head that is tilting left and right and only tracked one point the hat would remain straight and only move left and right & up and down a bit - the brim would stay straight. You want the hat to rotate as it moves so the brim tilts as their head tilts - that way it looks like a real hat and that 2nd point lets Hitfilm figure out this rotation. The same thing hold true if you have shaky cam footage - the camera is likely not only moving slightly up, down, left and right but tilting too. Anytime something is rotating in a shot due to it’s natural movement (like heads of people) or the camera - you need to use double points if you want the new overlay to match the object’s movements exactly. The 2nd point also give you scale (size) changes so if want to put that hat on top of a car coming right at you - even if nothing else is moving - you need to use 2 points on the car to set the scale (size) of the hat so it grows as it approaches.

Im getting very frustrated with your application, im following your instructions yet, its not doing what your showing its doing... im very close to giving up, your videos are good but my application is just doing complete different things to what your showing, i split the parts i create comp shot, but for some reason it uses another clip some where else from the video and not what i sliced.... im tired and spent hours trying to work this S*** out and its getting me no where, what i really love to see are more indepth videos of real good editing like how you put in that zoom shot with an audio of something else ( when you died on fortnite ) i need vid tutorials of more in depth shit not quick stuff like this ( thou helpful for some ) just not with this motion tracking its not working for me!! im TIRED and want to be able to EDIT!! :(

every time i try to put in the image, it just pastes on a black background and i cant put and size it.
If your image doesn't have an alpha channel built-in to remove the black, you can easily remove it in HitFilm using the Demult effect.
is the free version good for memes and stuff?
