And once again I say the good Lord knows what he's doing when he puts people in your life and he put all them together that is beautiful beautiful done with the right people she had and I think in in the emperor's own way he he was jealous too because she had people that was loyal to her where he didn't have that even if he was sleeping around he didn't have that loyalty like he had she had loyalty as an empress should when people have respect and love you and understand what you what you about because she was kind she wasn't conniving and those that wrongfully used and mistreated her they were the bad ones and it showed because God ain't going to let too many people mess with you without doing something an intervening in your life that's just the way he is this was beautifully and I love all of them they're perfect fit

The Empress Ruyi is a grown ass woman. 👸🏽 In tarot, the Empress is all of the queens energy combined, Empress has had to endure a whole lot of treachery and heartbreak to arrive at the throne. Why she has compassion on her subjects because she knows their dreams and ambitions like hers. She also knows that those ambitions out of control can destroy you. She’s trying to temper, not hurt though it may be painful.

The fact that she uses the word " gift " for consort chun but " reward " for Jia. She cherishes consort chun but for jia it's her "reward" after what she has done aka revenge.
So happy for Souxin. She deserved all that Ruyi graced her with. If A'Rou would have stayed loyal, Ruyi would have granted her the same. In the last scene. Ling Fei is me all day. The look you give when some is getting what they deserve. Even tho she was a savage Ling Fei played a great Villain.
Suoxin was truly loyal, caring, and selfless, and she totally deserved everything good Ruyi gave her! I am also so happy that when Suoxin left the palace, it was someone like Rongpei, with the same honest and steadfast character, who took her place. She, too, was just as good to Ruyi as she deserved! (Btw which one is Ling Fei? They change name so much I get a bit confused sometimes 😅)
Outside of Hailan…the day Ruyi met Rongpei she gained her hand of punishment!! Yessss 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 When you sit on a seat of power make sure you have a strong foundation. You going to have to get rid of the weak bricks (Auro) but after that baaaaby!! Know that you can and will handle anything!! Rongpei kicks ass, I love her. I've just started watching these clips and I'm just blown away by them. The sets, the wardrobe, the hair and makeup, everything is so lush and beautiful. There are so many details. The characters are very interesting and the actors are fantastic. O, and if the brat doesn't want the carnelian earrings she can pass them my way. They're gorgeous. I could absolutely dare to wear such luxurious earrings!

But if you rewatch the drama and study it closely, Suoxin is much more clever and cunning compared to Rongpei, who is just blunt and straightforward. In this war where maids play a part in most of the inter-harem battles, there’s a reason why both Ruyi and Jia were winning in the first half: they both had clever, cunning maids as co-conspirators until the maids’ retirement (Suoxin got happily married while Jia’s maid Zhenshu got deported back to her homeland).
