Thanks for the fair review. The CX-5 really stands out on the road as I see it in its category. I like this zircon sand but my favorites are deep crystal blue then next soul red crystal, and of course the minimalist exterior & interior design. This is the car I'll buy next.
The only thing that I don't like about this new variant is they didn't update the infotainment system. I wish the next generation of mazda would have a bigger and a touch screen option on their infotainment
Every car journalists has their own signature of reviewing cars. I don’t it’s difficult to get your hands on some vehicles because it requires effort to have an appointment with the dealership and there’s some sort off “deal” of you to comply. Continue to provide honest and straightforward criticism towards every review. We need that kind of perspective from a car enthusiast too. Again, kudos Reygan!
Nice review, great car. I don't mind the issues you mentioned regarding touch screens, its 2023 and we are already in voice era for quite some time now and you don't have to type in the address anymore.
I own a 2nd Gen CRV with the K20 engine, and its fuel consumption is worse than this even back when it was brand new. Progress in technology throughout the years is surely impressive.
you have to take your eyes off the road when you touch the screen. Even at medium speed, the car has travelled some distance. This is same reason why the car is equipped with HUD so you won't have to shift and refocus your eyes to the instrument cluster. Mazda engineers hold a high safety standard, they don't we always follow what everybody else is doing.
I hope the touchscreen can be used even while parked and using Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Presently, it is not and still needs the master control wheel.
this is the perfect car for today’s yuppies. this basically crosses the X1 price range but you get more in my factual opinion haha. the only offsetting thing about this is this weird Kardashian color 😅 this has to be the perfect crossover - sporty, comfy and premium.
My first movie "AsphaltJN" is set to released on theaters this coming January 11, 2030. Using Aspark Owl for the Goliath 20-lap race in Clark International Speedway.
Hi Jex, Im curious if the 2nd row can comfortably fit 3 average size Filipino passengers? I have a small family, my wife is 5 feet flat, my son is the same height but will still grow and my self at 5'5". We are all under 150lbs, the usual body size for a Filipino. Some reviews showed how the middle tunnel can negatively impact the middle passenger.
@@ivanvillarruz8412 you can get the fwd model if you dont want the hump to bother yall in the long run. but so far so good. we went to batangas the other week with the cx5 and they fit alriht in the back. 3 of them
@@alfonsomartinez7919 No, it's a matter of preference. I like the styling of the Ford Explorer, in fact, it's one of the best looking crossovers on the market today.

North American variants have bigger updated screens since 2021
It’s already 2024 ,I wonder when Mazda Philippines will update the 10.25-inch car display.😂😅
Kudos. For the criticism, not all car reviewer has the guts to tell the truth.
Thanks! Hope it improves further to be closer to perfection.

My old 1.8FD mt used to return me the same fc so I think that model is quite frugal with that performance.

is the ride of cx8 better than a cx5? if only the cx8 has the turbo like in other countries...
i was immediately distracted by the Ferrari in front 😋😋
It’s already 2024 ,The price is too high and the infotainment system is still 2 years old. They could have sold better.
Are we expecting a review from Forester 2022?
Mas bagay kung black sporty design mags
infotainment screen has not changed...
Same thoughts here.
This needs a comparo between tiggo 8 pro AWD
thats why we got this ;)

when i saw the price i immediately close the video then went back just to comment this. :D bye
Not bad for a cuv .
I don't know what it is about the exterior styling of Mazda's crossovers, that repels me.
maybe you have bad taste

The absence of Foglights plus the body colored claddings.
