    I agree with the exhaust system and the cats they aren't a pretty to look at, shame BMW didn't attach a bigger side fairing to try to hide it a bit like other manufacturers have done. Ive never ridden 1 but it's probably the best sports bike out there.

      I’m keen to do a comparison with a Panigale V4S but I reckon you are right, it’s probably the best sports bike on the market. Lap record at Isle of Man this year probably proves that.

    I just got mine last week and I’m loving it. I don’t feel like it’s as aggressive as my r6. On my r6 my lower back would be killing me after 30 mins or so. On the s1000rr I can ride for hours and not feel my back asking for mercy. You are 100% right on fuel consumption haha. The quick shifter is too damn smooth! As for the looks… I think it looks better than a panigale v4. Great review brother!

      @@BikerTorqueComing from a Street Triple RS. Which is another amazing amazing bike. If i compare the two bikes besides the obvious power engine character and riding position the S1000RR requires heavier input to get it leaned but is then more assured and confident while at lean. It's a very very good bike.
    The M seat is the worst thing ever, replace it with anything. I found a seat for $100usd that I love.
    US version has too many power restrictions. All the mid range power has been removed from 2nd and 3rd gear. You go to pass someone and it's wait wait wait OMG 200hp. On the race track this was far less noticeable but on the street you'll often end up in the flat spot. I have no idea why they did that to the USA version but I'm getting it flashed.
    The heated grips, cruise control, hill assist, fuel gauge, navigation system, make it fantastic for road use. It even tells you what the speed limit is for the road your on. The dash can be customized for the info you want displayed.
    The bike is fast and properly fast. It's crushing everything in superstock racing. The Full M1000rr superstock bike set the all out fastest lap record at the Isle of Man TT. Good Bike

      You should get the audible traction control tune added. It uses the intake butterfly valves instead of the ABS and you can hear it has a faint exhaust backfire crackling sound to let you know the traction control is engaging. I can be in a full lean in a curve and go wide open with the throttle. Smooth as butter.

    Best review yet of this bike. You answered all my questions. As a 62 year old rider, I appreciate the perspective on ergonomics for our aging bodies. Your review confirmed my choice was right when I bought a Ducati Diavel. Only (?) 160 HP, but far better seating position and ergos. Only 160HP.... 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds, 0 to 100 in 4 seconds, grinning ear to ear for hours at a time. As far as looks go, does anyone think the Germans are better looking than the Italians? No one ever said the Italians don't ooze sex appeal........

    • @BikerTorque
      @BikerTorque  Год назад

      Yes I agree, I don’t think you can go past the Italians for style and sex appeal. I haven’t ridden the Diavel yet but we have a V4S coming in the next few months so we can do a video. Thanks for your comments, we are trying to keep the reviews relevant to real world riders who make up our audience. Thanks for watching.

    The bike sounds like it's amazing. I'm a short guy, so I don't think it would suit me.
    I'm a fellow boomer who spent the bulk of my riding years riding Harleys - though I've owned many other brands.
    My current ride is a '23 z900rs café. It's so,so fantastic for me and I'm proud to own it. What I get to sit next to it will probably be more laid-back, simply for the contrast. I'm thinking anything from a boxer twin to vertical twin. I've already done enough with v-twins.

      I bought a Diavel because of the seat position and ergonomics. 160 HP isn't much compared to 210, but when you twist the throttle you quickly realize how much power 160hp really is.
