Gixxer is the closest to engine dynamic, but not in the same league on whole package and electronics. No wonder it’s so comfortable given how it was developed.
Suggestions: 1. Make sure you get the BT-Moto/Brentune. It transforms the bike totally, especially eliminating the emissions power flat spots. 2. Pair your phone to it and use its cool best-in-class electronics, ride metrics and general integration. 3. Use the Insta360 vibration damper on your X3. Otherwise it will eventually die from the high-frequency vibration. 4. Set your shift light to around 14K. Flashing all the time at low RPM is annoying. Comments: 1. The S1000RR is the lightest of the superbikes, especially in the M package with CF wheels, lithium battery, etc. Lose another 20 lbs with a full system instead of the stupid slip-on. 2. Even with its civility, I bet you post your best track times on it with the right tires. 3. The redline is well over 14K. higher with the BT-Moto flash. 4. First gear will get you to almost 100 mph, but feels way better than the Fireblade getting there.
When you already using the cruise control, u can hold the set button to set the speed higher, and you can still use the quickshifter. Works really well!
BMW "OWN" the isle of man TT, you cant say they dont have a look in. Id say best road racing bike in the world, unlike moto gp and bsb or wsb, with perfectly smooth tarmac the TT requires the most diversified motorcycle and rider. And the bmw is the king of the road !!
@@kugangles9860 yea, I went all in on mine, full Akra, velocity stacks, flapper delete, IAT relocation, sprint filter, stage 2 BT tune. Nothing left on the table for mine.
When he was taking about riding in the cold, BMW has a snowflake warning light that comes on. I drove 8 hours on with that warning on. You need more than heated grips when riding in those temperatures.
Lifelong Honda sportbike guy here. Can confirm. My 23 S1000RR is what Honda should be making. It's the Bee's Knees. (AFTER you get it chipped. The bike is severely handicapped in the lower gears from factory. Dangerously so when u go to pass)
you should have reviewed this bike 3 years ago......and it seems you are not aware that Peter Hickman has been dominating the isle of man TT using an S1K
I get it, I've participated in many demo rides with teh different manufacturers, and I know what you're saying about the character feel. After did the BMW demo the second time, it was clear to me where I wanted to spend my money for a bike that does many things right besides character. Actually, to be honest, I feel I picked a bike that has good character (1250 RS). The sport touring bike with the boxer motor is so rewarding in different ways, im glad I got it.
Awesome! Grest too see you now know what the S1k can do. That 2nd gear has a huge flat spot,, totally different when you flash it. Pls rename the old video of the 2023 S1k saying poser dads to cool as dads 😂😂😂😂
Yam have you ridden the ZX-10RR? Or just the R?Two completely different bikes, and also 10 grand apart. I think the RR could give the BMW a run for its money.
I used to think 440lbs was heavy, until I rode a 500+ lb bike and a sub 400lb bike on the freeway. When those semi-trailer wind gusts and general cross winds hit you while riding at 150+ mph, you'll appreciate that extra weight.
Much lighter and better on the track, the rsv4 sounds better but the s1k is faster out of the box, a better comparison would be the ducati v4s vs the s1k as they're the class leaders, the rsv4 needs an update now but the rsv4 is a lot cheaper than the other 2
i would love to see you review the new ninja 500, i was honestly surprised to see it announced since the 400 has been so successful and I want to know what you think!

7:55 Vibration free? Only at low rpm. Above about 7500 rpm it buzzes like an overpowered electric razor. It may be higher frequency than other bikes but it results in noticeable arm fatigue if you ride for 30 min on the highway at 70. I don't know about 2021 but the 2022 model has it. And it's 427 lbs, not 447, hence the buzziness. Frequency goes as 1/mass.
12:00 Damn Poppa Yams short shift 1st and then broke the speed limit in 2nd lol. Thats too much power, I think a 600cc is the right balance for the streets
Yeah not for me unfortunately we have snow and ice here in Massachusetts and unfortunately i had my motorcycle stolen 4 months ago i got a new yonme scooter but its not the one i wanted i just got a sym pch 50 from 2017 with 6k miles
Beautiful bike too bad I can't do the crotch rocket positioning for long anymore. Getting older sucks...Also 200+HP is just way to overkill for the street imo. These liter sport bikes they're coming out with now are crazy.
Yammie, you sound like you're trying to sell this bike & not just give her away..... lol, just saying most would take a free bike if receiving it doesn't cost them $5000 ? What does it cost to tag/title this bike for the winner? Ballpark that figure b/c I'm sure inquiring minds wanna know?? So do share that? peace man
I wish BMW has a cruiser with a v-twin... their bikes are beautiful, but I just can't tolerate those boxer engines with the jugs just hanging out the side...
Yam…. I’m disappointed that your squid nature got the better of you when will you be mature and get a sporster s (jk but I would like to see you review a sportster s)
Yam don't waste your money on the S1000XR, it is tall and its suspension just doesn't react properly making it horrible in corners and bends, it has a noisy motor, yeah it has a big ol engine in it but it just isn't a good bike. You get all the specs on a Kwaki versys 1000 and they are cheaper, more comfortable, and smoother. The older ones used to have a ton of gearbox problems and electronic issues, granted they have been improved on with the latest versions but they are overall just a sloppy attempt with a big engine as its USP! The little brother F900XR with its 270 crank on it, is a much better buy but still not a fantastic buy. For sports tourers, the big 4 still have the hold on it! The only sports tourers you should be considering if you want the best of the best are the Kwaki Ninja 1000SX or the Suzi GSX1000GT! Yeah I know what you're thinking, you don't like being the same as everyone else and going for the Ninja or GSX bikes, but I kid you not, those are literally the best bikes in that category. Yeah you've got the Moto Guzzi V100 which is just as great as the other 2, but they are also more difficult to own as they aren't as commercial (parts, maintenance etc. you know what I'm saying). If those don't appeal, then you have the softer class which is the Tracer 9, the Honda NT1100, or the BMW R1250RS. Me personally I would be choosing either the Ninja 1000SX or the Honda NT1100 and being a streamer it's a much better idea to go for the Ninja, and for resale circumstances down the line. Please steer clear of the BMW's and do yourself a favour with the Ninja 1kSX. The Gixxer is an incredible bike but it is still a sports engine in a sports tourer frame. With all that said, the bike that would suit you the most is the Tracer, that's the one you would look the best on, plus it's a Yama which correlates with your name and channel. So if I were you it's a choice of the Ninja S1000SX or the Tracer 9. Yammie Noob goes away and comes back with a Triumph Tiger LMAO don't cancel yourself please! LOL
207hp to the CRANK so about 184 hp to the back wheel. And it’s stock so if puts an exhaust on and gets the Bren tune package he would get more out of the bike. I own a bmw and they are hella restricted from factory even after the 1st service. STOP SAYING 207hp bc it doesn’t have 207 hp
Don't forget it's a giveaway bike! Become a member at www.yammienoob.co/pages/giveaways !
Is the rider position comfortable enough to ride 250-300 miles 3-4 consecutive days? Or perhaps the S1000XR for longer trips....
Gixxer is the closest to engine dynamic, but not in the same league on whole package and electronics. No wonder it’s so comfortable given how it was developed.

its a race on a road instead of a track, its different but not really diversified. supermoto would be diversified
Even with no other mods a stage 1 BT-Moto tune is night and day from the factory bike. I did it to my 2023 S1KXR one day after the factory unlock.
Yeah i put a set of headers on my XR along with a BT tune and it's a whole different bike in a good way
@@kugangles9860 yea, I went all in on mine, full Akra, velocity stacks, flapper delete, IAT relocation, sprint filter, stage 2 BT tune. Nothing left on the table for mine.
I love my 23 S1kRRM. My first ever 1000cc. Swung for the fences a year into riding and I'm never looking back.
Sheeeesshhhh yammie i love the new video. I’m taking msf course soon and I’m super excited too get my first bike. Letsssss goooo

Yea, try riding a Kawasaski Concours 14 with topcase puts it right at 701 lbs all factory stock atm! :)
The bike to get for the road is the m1000r. Mostly carbon, beautiful naked. Once i save enough, I'll trade in my tuono v4 😅.
Yep. Worth saving for 🔥
heck yeah yammbo i went out this morning for a good day too. FINALLY NICE WEATHER BOYS ITS TIME *in the south
definitely needs a tune to get rid of the dead spot in the rpms from what ive heard.
Any chance youd review a 24' cbr500r or do a beginner giveaway on one??
We demand a full system on this Beast ❤
No one says, I want a superbike that is difficult to ride fast. lol. S1000rr is king. Why would anyone not want this bike? Ducati can kick rocks.
The s1k is like a cheat code, it has everything
I have a 2020 and the BT-Moto flash is a must. As you found out you don't get full throttle in I think 2nd - 4th or 5th gear without it.
Beautiful bike
Every bike is a street bike
How does it compare to the RSV4 1100?
Much lighter and better on the track, the rsv4 sounds better but the s1k is faster out of the box, a better comparison would be the ducati v4s vs the s1k as they're the class leaders, the rsv4 needs an update now but the rsv4 is a lot cheaper than the other 2
going to look at one in a couple days, will be my first litrebike if i buy it :D
Please compare this to the v4s 🙌
I just watch the video of yammies first time on a s10000rr and he wasnt saying it was soulless 😂 he was screaming
lovely video as usual
Is the bmw reliable like the Honda?
So 'Shift Cam' is basically V-tec???
Try a gen 6 zx10. Swear you’ll love it
Gen6 is the second most streetable bike

BT-MOTO tune. They can tune it so the exhaust valve stays open all the time. I have the stage 1+ tune and it's a night and day difference.
why you judging people eating in their car

Most boring bike on the market, fast? Yes! 3 year warranty yes but riding sensation is just not there
How can you call this bike boring? Yes is it super smooth, lacks Ducati like characteristics but boring it’s not.
