@@AngieHolden no luck on the first 2. I could barely see the picture, found another video about checking the dpi. My dpi was not set to 300 so will try 1 more time. I am using a Brother Sublimation printer.
Angie, I just love love love all of the videos you do for sublimating different things. They make such great gifts! Since your video on Wind Spinners, I have made 6 and just ordered 12 more to do. Now to order puzzles. LOL
Thank you so much for this video; perfect timing! I just did a sublimation puzzle this weekend and had some light spots. I'm going to make it again using your tips! Love, love, love all your videos!❤
Hello Angie! Your puzzle looks great! I am so glad you made this Tutorial. I bought Puzzles from 143 Vinyl a while back but never used them. I will definitely dust them off and use them. Thank you! Happy Crafting!🤗
you are amazing ....thanks i learned a lot from your videos .........your videos are my goto place if i need any details on sublimation .....cheers keep up the good work thanks a ton :)
Hi I have just sublimated me first puzzles using a Vevor Heat Press but the individual pieces of the puzzle all seem to have a white edge. Any suggestions please. Many thanks.
I have tried more pressure, time and changed the mats out but am experiencing the same problem. I have also tried a different blank and also still the same result. I would be interested to hear if other users arealso experiencing similar problems. Many thanks.
I am printing sublimation with an Epson ET-2800 with sublimation ink on sublimation paper. My print looks very faded on my paper and even more faded when transferred to my puzzle. Any tips or tricks to fix this?
It can look faded when printing but should pop once you press. First, run a nozzle check on your printer to make sure you don't have any clogs. Then press to 100% polyester white fabric to check your heat source/print settings. If that goes well, keep trying different press settings for the puzzle.
I've made puzzles as valentine cards for my grandson to give out that had a picture of him on it. So my question is if you have a file that gives you the cut file to make the puzzle on your own instead of buying one to add your picture to?
So if I wanted to have someone print the image, because the size is bigger than my printer at home. What type of papers would work that I should look for?
Hi, I'm new to all this and recently bought a new 16x20 heat press for sublimation. Is it normal for it to have a slight humming noise as it gets really hot? It starts humming around 370 Fahrenheit. Thanks
I’ve had to rewatch this as I make 15 puzzles last minute. You saved my sanity!! Thank you!
Glad it helped!

Awesome, thank you!
Angie! Thanks I'm using a Cricut Easy Press 2 what temp and time?
Always reference the instructions where you purchase your blanks.
Thank you, great easy video
thanks for this video. But what material option do you pick when printing from sawgrass? Do you choose polyester?thank you
I would choose hardboard or chipboard.
Awesome video
Thanks!
Can you use a regular iron if you don't have a heat press?
Not for something this size. I have used an iron for really small blanks.
Okay, thanks. I'm looking at a 10x14 blank toput a picture on.
That is really cool!
They really are!
Do you have to use sublimation paper if the puzzle os sublimated? I do not have a sublimated printer😐
In order to sublimate a puzzle you will need sublimation paper, a sublimation puzzle, and a sublimation printer with sublimation ink.
So the image is facing down and the puzzle is facing up on the press? I got a little confused when you flipped it
Correct.

I would say pressure and a firm mat under the puzzle. It is not getting the ink down into those lines.
@@AngieHolden Manythanks. I had tried the firm mat so will try more pressure. Thank you.

How do you present the puzzle gift? Do you put it in a bag, box or what?
I leave it whole and put it back in the clear sleeve it comes in when you purchase. You can put in a box.

I have made puzzles with my Cricut however I have not sublimated on them.
So if I wanted to have someone print the image, because the size is bigger than my printer at home. What type of papers would work that I should look for?
They should print with sublimation ink on sublimation paper from a sublimation printer.
Can you do that with flusible ink with blank puzzle
Yes!
Is this safe to do with an iron? Thanks!
An iron would not work for these.

I haven't noticed anything but it might be okay?
Yeah hopefully. Going to get a dedicated circuit and see if still does it.
ok not sure what type of material to select for the puzzle
Chipboard if that is an option!
Where do you buy the puzzle blanks
I seen that Amazon carries them and heat transfer warehouse. Those are only a few places I seen.
I get them from Amazon or Heat Transfer Warehouse.
I just did a puzzle tonight and it is white in the middle
I would say to make sure you have a firm heat resistant mat and not the cricut easypress mat. And maybe heat it up some to remove moisture.
Thanks Great video & tips.
