What I like about this song is that it has multiple interpretations
On one hand it’s about a relationship breaking down, the “life” being the life of the relationship, which has fallen apart due to “the bitterness”.
The other interpretation is that it’s about someone’s last ditch attempt to prevent a suicide, the “life” being a literal life. The singer didn’t realise how important this conversation was going to be, if he had he would have “stayed up with you all night” to prevent the suicide.

I got told, over 10 years after the fact, that I was the one who stayed up all night and saved a life.
Never knew it was THAT bad until then, just knew it wasn't good and I can't just do nothing.
some of the worst truths of humanity are it's self-destructive tendancies, and it's greed for life. *How to save your own life:*
- if it looks like there's something wrong on it, try to find out what it is
- if you know what it is, find out a way to get rid of it
- if you can't get rid of it, learn to accept it and focus on the positive things on your life
- if you can't get over it, find peer support or learn ways how to use your hardship for good
*How to save someone else's life:*
- when they have something to tell, let them tell
- when they tell, listen
- while you listen, try to imagine how you'd feel in the person's situation
- let your following emotions make the work to make that person feel better

I tried suicide 2 years ago, the noose broke. XD Decided to not to try again and go lose some weight. Lololol. Doing... better? What do you call someone in my state? I guess insane... though sociopath might work better. ^^

This song takes me back to 2013 where I was an extremely depressed teen with no idea how I was going continue living life.
It’s now 2020 and the world is exploding around me, but I’m still here and I’ve found my sanity.

three of the same girl standing on a tall ledge. the first one walks over and falls off. the second girl look as she falls, the third looking away. the second girl slowly walks over to the edge, leaning over, double thinking this idea... her foot slips... the third girl quickly grabs her. why did she stop her, but didn't stop the first one from falling. after seeing her self jump the first time, she didn't want it to happen again. she realized it was a bad decision. in life, you don't get a second chance, make the right choices as the third won't help the first.

chances are limited. even if you know how the other is feeling about you you should tell him/her just because you don't know when he/she will be gone. if she/he leaves you then you feel depressed and sad because you will forever have this felling inside you that you could not tell the other about and that will slowly eat you from your inseide until you break down and cry again. time is valuable so use it wise to tell everyone you lovve that you love them

@@emonerdkoreaboo8772 its not just about suicide. its has sevral meanings like i can strongly relate to this song because i have been on both sides of those bars. i was actually locked up after getting into a handful of fights and just defying everyone around me, even if they were just trying to help i slapped their hand away. When i was in there i had only one person who even cared enough to call and visit a childhood friend she tried everything she could but i was to stubborn.i moved away and later down the road about 4 years. It was my 18th birthday at 3:45 am i got a call from her parents her ex murdered her and staged a car accident that was the turn around point for me i joined a group to help troubled teens kinda like big brother big sister type thing. well i got paired with this one girl she reminded me quite a bit of how i was when i was younger not even a week in she got arrested for getting in a fight with a guy for messing with her so i visited her in juvi and i helped her get a public defender. and took her somewhere to eat we sat down and talked and she just kinda drifted off to the side. i just stoped talking she said she was gonna walk home and since it was a decent walk i didn't feel right about just letting her walk home when it was half dark i tailed her for a block or two she got got jumped by the guy she beat up and some of his friends. i got out of my car and walked over guy threw a punch and it was all downhill from there its like i reverted into my old delinquent self and i just started grabbing and tossing them like nothing. point being its about the hardships in life and how they effect not only you but those that care about you.

Wow, this picture goes really well with this song. When talking to someone who's depressed or when feeling depressed it really does feel like there is a wall of iron bars separating you. You can hug, be hugged, but there's something in the way of keeping it feeling good or natural.

I don't think it is Kirito (Sword Art Online is awesome ^-^). I believe the image is from Otomimi Infinity, which is a game and visual novel. I haven't read it myself, however, I think it is 18+ and contains a lot of graphic sex scene so you may want to avoid it.

The reason I listen to this song is because my closest friend died in a car crash 5 years ago, I think it was my fault because at the time I was in year 6 about to go into year 7 and she had to leave to go to another country which meant i would never see her again and i didn't try to persuade her to stay at all,.. I felt really bad because maybe I could have gotten her to stay, the last words I said to her was "I'll miss you, don't forget me".. I really hope she's in a better place right now. The way I found out is I messaged her asking if she had got there safely, but her Mum told me that she passed away which made me cry for a whole 2 months it wasn't until a week after she died that my family found out. Until this day, I listen to this song.. I'm still trying to forgive myself and realise that it wasn't my fault.. But it truly is hard.. Knowing that you could have possibly done something to help ):

I don't know about you guys but I can see a story with the picture and the song fits perfectly with it. At first the girl and guy don't know about each other and then they met and didn't like each other and they kept bumping into each other and started to befriend each other and she finally trusted another person because she got stabbed in the back by one of her old friends and then she never trusted anybody ever again until she met him then they hung out more and after a while they were best friends and then she got into a bunch of trouble with the police and she had to stay in jail for a while while he was busy doing his thing and she tried to call him but his phone was off and then he tried to call back over and over again so then he got worried and called the police and they said that she was there and he went there and tried to talk to her but she didn't answer and she started crying and said that I tried calling you and you didn't answer and now I'm stuck at this place and can't
go home and then he said that he was sorry and was stuck doing his work and couldn't answer his phone and sorry over and over again but she didn't say it's okay and he said that I'll bail you out of here and so he did that and when she got out they started fighting and they didn't talk to each other for days then weeks then months and then one year later she said its finally alright and the started right were at the begging and met up over and over and started to date and went further and further and then many years later the decided to get married but then divorced and then remarried and had two children and lived together forever for the rest of there lives.The End

...I'm a suicidal person. I'm 18 and still here. I've been suicidal since about ten years old. I tried killing myself over 30 times... fail. fail. fail. I am mentally handicapped and now I can't be my old self. Meaning- I take medicine that controls how I feel. I just graduated high school and lost every contact a few weeks ago... I have no one to talk me out of suicide anymore and it upsets me. I lost my friends... all the people who talked me out of suicide and now I listen to this song... Now I only have one friend and I have a huge crush on him... but that's another story. Point is, he doesn't know me. I miss having people care for me... it seems like no one does anymore... I wish I still had someone who cared... ;o; Someone who'd talk to me through the night when things went wrong... I miss my true friends... I feel so hopeless and alone... I'm so crying... Life is such a pain... I just want to thank everyone who talked to me and helped save my life... I wish my crush cared... I wish my family loved or at least told me they loved me. First off, I'm not going to recall the time where I lost a childhood friend of mine roughly seven months ago, right before entering college. However, I want to say that I understand the pain, the emotions, and the heartbreak from losing someone. With that, I want to say that it's possible to move on and recover. It will be hard, It will be painful, but you will get over that hill. I learned that I wouldn't do anyone any good just be sitting there and be sad all the time, we have to move on at one point. Her death hit me hard, but with her death, it became my inspiration, my drive. I'm attending college to become a doctor, ultimately to either saving a life or making one better in the future, so that no one else has to go through what I had experienced. I'm not ignorant, I know that I can't save all lives, and that not all will have a happy ending, but that wont stop me from trying with every single patient that I may have in the future. The one thing that I want people to get out of this is that we shine the brightest, when we are at our darkest. It's painful and sad to lose someone, but we have to learn to live with that pain and empty hole in heart for the rest of our days. It will not heal completely, time will only close the gap ever so slightly. But that hole will be filled with fond memories and new ones that we are yet to discover.
So chin up, smile, and live your life to the best of your abilities :) I'm pretty sure your friends, family, and loved ones would want you to. I know that my friend wanted me to do the same when she departed on August 5th, 2014 , 5:00 a.m.

Another sibling lost to time. But what I know is that i still have my other siblings.
