When Luka can't handle his emotions/having cold hand it's natural that Kyrie should take more possessions. He is mature leader and feels emotion of the whole team.

There are several plays where PJ and Dante drove past their man easily, but became indecisive ended up shooting awkward floaters. Take the mid-range jumper, use the glass.
Kidd must challenge early touch fouls on his Biggs. It is of monumental importance. Also, get on to the refs about Clips 3 sec in the lane. Lively and Green should start imo.
Luka always starts out shooting his three until he makes it, rightfully so. But you can't keep doing that, Need more off ball action for him early. Run actual plays half court
Mavs D usually ramps up as the game goes on, which I have been fine with because it saves Gafford from early foul trouble. Can't do that this series, Lue exposed that
Start Lively, not only because he played better than Gafford yesterday, but because he has actual post moves which could draw fouls from Zubac. Not to mention he is absolutely fearless of these playoffs, because he's been through way worse.

Mavs fans are making too much hooblah about these games. Remember, we were up 2-0 on their home floor last time we played the clips, then we drop 2 at home. Playoffs are wildly unpredictable.

What frustrates me with Luka is he says he will do something and then doesn’t..like he says they need to keep passing the ball around and cutting..like ok…you keep the ball the majority of the time and everyone is standing around!!! You end up shooting the ball with everyone just standing around!!! It starts with you!
Luka was passing a ton in th 1st half and no one could hit a shot. Without luka they probably only score 60 points as a team this game.

Luka and Ky need to attack and put pressure on the rim. Luka especially settled a lot. It's great when the step back is falling, but with a slow start getting LA's bigs in foul trouble and taking advantage of having giys in jail to draw fouls would've helped settle the storm in the second quarter. That said if the the supporting cast is not making shots (I'm 99% sure they can't play any worse) we dont have a chance.

This is the toughest series for us in this playoffs if we win this series our path gets easier. The only reason the clippers won was because of James Harden without him, Paul and Kawhi would be the same Clippers from back encounters #DallasMavericks Cover James his going to be there sharpshooter. I have a question for the entire Mavericks team starting with Kidd and the coaching staff. How were you so unprepared for this game? I said losing to Detroit would destroy your momentum going into the playoffs and it obviously did. Did you not do one thing to prepare for the playoffs? How irresponsible!

Dallas 12 point comeback (97-109). A plan for james harden. And Russell Westbrook. I think the Clippers are the same team from last time #JasonKidd #DallasMavericks
If we're being optimistic, this game showed the Clippers are pretty beatable (although Kawhi will definitely make them better), but not if Dallas shoots like that. They couldn't even beat the Pistons playing like they did in the 1st half.
But, I guess neither team will keep shooting like they did -- Dallas abnormally badly; Clippers abnormally well (Westbrick 2/4 from 3, for Christ's sake) --, so mere return to average should do, at least with no Kawhi. If/when he returns, Dallas' role players will have to do a much better job or else they're cooked.
Yes, Luka and Kyrie can get 60-80 points -- maybe 90 sometimes --, but not 120. Also, I thought the days of mediocre-to-average centers having a party against Dallas were over, but Zubac outplayed both Lively and Gafford way more consistently than he should have.

Luca did not act like a leader. He shot poorly, did not play defense but complained permanently and screamed against his teammates. Kyre showed leadership. If Luca does not change his attitude Dallas will loose without winning one single game.

TY LUE attacked GAFFORD from the jump to get him out the game. KIDD was unprepared and made no adjustment. After the first 2 minutes Kid should have brought in MORRIS for Jonestown to defend Zubac and put GAFFORD at the 4.
