I don’t know if there is a character I don’t like in this show. They all give you something great.
Totally agreed!!!
I like them all but some I like less than others. For example , I am not really fond of Joel
Well, I do find Joel quite lame
Joel is realistic tho, he balances all bright characters
Agree! Great show
Why isn't luke kirby in any of the interviews? He did a great job as lenny Bruce he deserves a lot more recognition
Agreed!
i couldn’t find his instagram, looks like he’s very reserved..
The artist, something Howell, that scene in front of his masterpiece. It was incredible. Yes, Lenny Bruce, but Mr. Howell was just iconic
I hard agree, especially after the season 4 finale. The dude is an incredible performer
That scene made me cry. It felt like something new was happening and I got to experience it with Midge for the first time. @@alphadoom4970
So much f*cking talent on this show it’s RIDICULOUS
Right? This show is perfectly cast, I can't remember the last time I watched something that drew me in like this show. Great character development, even in minor roles. I could see this being studied by film students on how to create believably relatable characters from fiction.
I was a kid during the 1950s. I remember people wearing these styles, driving these cars, using these things. Like a return to my childhood.
Lili Marlene Exactly!
Lucky you! Im an old soul. I love to see the 50s and 60s
Wow that's brilliant. I live the aesthetic of this show so much. Bring back hats lol!
The characters that play Midge's mom and dad, are my favorites!!!
Me too
Treat yourself to watching the entirety of Monk if you haven't already, Tony Shalhoub is incredible.
Never ever stop the marvelous mrs. Maisel I am so hooked I watched 3 full episodes in 3 minutes ready to see it all over again love love love it come on season 4 get going we are all waiting for U, don't ever change the cast they are superb!!!! A five-star series
ARKWalton OMG, Monk is literally the reason I watched this show, because I heard tony shaloub was in it so I was like “Ok!” And of course Abe’s my favorite character. But seriously, does anyone else notice the relationship Midge and Abe have? They have those little bonding moments, like how she told her father first that Joel and her might be getting back together, and she told her father first about Benjamin, and her father got so mad at Joel for cheating.
Joel's parents are hilarious too. Well, all characters are great!
You can tell the Gilmore Girls writers wrote the scripts. Same sparring and kadence between the characters. Love this show and looking forward to season 4.
I'm working on a sketch where it starts with any old scene from Maisel, then suddenly you see "GILMORE MODE ACTIVATED" then the dialogue banter suddenly becomes super Gilmore Girls style with the Mile-a-minute back & forth quips that no one actually does in real life lol.
I realised myself how much I am comparing with the style and characters of Gilmore Girls
HYSTERICAL, continuously holding your attention.
UNBELIEVABLE comedic rhythm.
Each character brings a storyline.
And all characters have an
uproaring humorous delivery.
I can actually say this is the funniest show on television.
I heard of the show so I decided to binge watch from season one.
Now I’m all caught up to season three.
I just want more and more.
It’s truly amazing how the
writers and the casting delivered these character., with a strong personality.
So memorable with humorous dialect.
And still having a sensitive dramatic side as well.
I was about to write I haven’ seen comedy & drama delivered so well in a long time..
But what I will actually say,
I’ve never seen a show like this EVER!
It’s more than fantastic!!
If you watch for a minutes you’re hooked.
Congratulations to
Marvelousl Mrs.Maisel
Job extremely well done
Carolyn Cates Brilliantly said! I love the show as well.
Shay Dembo
Thank you for your reply
I’m not a professional Critic
I’m just a mature chick which enjoys good performances,
and good writing.
This is the best show ever no matter what ethnicity you are!
I love the Jewish aspect of the show. I’m catholic but my best friend since high school is Jewish. I love their family get togethers, the celebration of their customs and cultural eccentricities. This show really taps into that in such a positive way.
Janine Pettit Very old joke: what is the difference between a Jewish grandmother and an Italian grandmother? Black stockings. Don’t know which grandma is wearing them.
True
I love everything about this show. I would literally sit and watch and entire season of bloopers just to get more of it.
This show is EXQUISITE. Gorgeous, funny and beautifully insightful. A joy to experience!🥰
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has captured Judaism, the 50s/60s era and the fashion of the times in the best and most authentic way imaginable, everything about this show is awesome. I can't wait for season 4. Thank you to the producers, directors, story writes, actors, the actors are amazing, omg I can go on for ever, thank you to everyone that has made this show the best show ever ❤️❤️❤️
Tony Shaloub and Kevin Pollack brought so much instant legitimacy to this show. They’re incredible subtle acting actors, understated humor.
Maisel teaches us how we can be successful, on top of the game all being feminine. She doesn't needs pants to rule. I love how fragile n strong she is at the same time. Like real women.
nice!!
Although I agree with you, I must say there isn’t anything wrong with not being super feminine. It doesn’t make you less of a woman. But I do love how Midge is super feminine while also being super intelligent and driven 😊 plus her fashion is to die for!
Everyone in this show is amazingly gifted. Susie and Abe are my favorite.
Mines tooo😂😂😂😂
Totally agree!
I love this show! But I wish we'd see Luke Kirby in one of these Interviews...
Talk about someone who was cast to perfection! Luke Kirby is Lenny Bruce reincarnate!
I love ALEX BORSTEIN's frankness. It's so true about the MEMORIZATION after a certain age. But she's wonderful, as usual!!
This show is what results when great writing, directing, and casting are put before all other concerns.
As a PUERTO RICAN....I relate to this show hella deeply!!!!!!! But for real. The family themes and dynamics of this show make me feel at home and nostalgic
Same with me. I’m Italian heritage and this is spot on!
LUV this show. LUV the fashion. The parents are hilarious.
The clothes she wears unbelievable
I love this show, it’s brilliant! Also I would like to see much more of Luke Kirby, on screen and at this interviews. He is an amazing actor!
Tony Shalhoub is brilliant.
Lo amo
Yess! He’s my favorite actor
Love him! I got to edit some of his scenes from Monk when I took film classes in college.
I haven't seen a show this good and this funny since the seventies. The cast delivers their characters so well. I hope I can wait another year for Season 4.
I’m in love with EVERYTHING in this show especially the Jewish aspect, because it shows my daughters a family speaking Yiddish like theirs, a crazy and loudly speaking family like theirs, and how lovable it all really is no matter how frustrating real life can be being a part of a family composed of strong characters. Take a combo of Mrs. Maizel, Larry David, and Seinfeld and that is us!
Tony Shaloub is sooooo funny on TMMM. Love him!
This show dont get enough credit by how amazing all the scenes are. the cinematography, the actors, the script, the directors... LITERALLY EVERYTHING! so if you havent watched the show yet, you are missing out!!!
Wow, this is one of the best interviews I've ever seen! Interesting questions, good answers and well cut.
I came home from work the other day and after doing my usual stuff sat down to watch an episode of the Watchmen and two episodes of Mrs Maisel. I can't think of the last time I have watched such well written and acted stuff on the same evening. That was a 10/10 night for me and I can't think of the last time I thought that.
Love Joel’s and midge’s parents. They are hilarious
I look forward to this show. I can wait for season 4.
Just binged all 3 seasons. So many good moments.... truly well done. Bravo.
Hard to pick favourites! Everyone is incredibly talented.
Loved so many of the scenes with Midge and Suzie - funny af!! Can’t even name them all. The pool where she learns to swim. Many of the beginning of their team scenes.
Also, all the family scenes -- so excellent. Loved the scenes with Midge and Joel. Mai is great.
Alex kills every scene. The ones in her apt - dead. The Catskills. 😁
Lenny Bruce was 💯.
Some that made me laugh so loud were those secure rooms scenes w Tony...... soooooooo good. Laughed my ass off. Tony’s character is incredibly layered. Loved the scenes with him & Carin in Paris.
Also, loved to see the representation. 😘
I can't understand it, I think this is probably one of the best shows on television in the last few decades, but every single person I know hates it. It seems so polarizing. As a filmmaker, I can see the brilliance with every aspect of the show and I've worked with a few of these actors and they are all at the top of their game. As a viewer, the writing is so good, the direction, the performances as well as all of the technical brilliance. How can people not see the accomplishment here, this show will be just as brilliant twenty or thirty years from now?
Maybe it’s time to expand your social circle, because the show is FABULOUS!
The quick wit writing, the acting, the costumes, the backdrops, the time frame, sexuality being hinted at but not shoved in our faces like every other show...learning about the Jewish faith...all of it... this an absolutely brilliant show. One of the few my husband and I can watch together. I hope it goes on for many, many more seasons.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is most certainly....MARVELOUS!! Waiting for season 4!!
OMG, Monk is literally the reason I watched this show, because I heard tony shaloub was in it so I was like “Ok!” And of course Abe’s my favorite character. But seriously, does anyone else notice the relationship Midge and Abe have? They have those little bonding moments, like how she told her father first that Joel and her might be getting back together, and she told her father first about Benjamin, and her father got so mad at Joel for cheating.
Man do I love this show, and that Rose (Midges mom) is phenomenal 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I would love to see bloopers from the show. are there any?
I just love watching can’t wait to get home to watch but at the same time don’t wanna rush it to the end.
Luke Kirby, Luke Kirby, Luke Kirby!
Oi, same
Omg yesssssssssssss
*tries not to have an orgasm in comments section*
@Markus Patients yeah, Alex is a babe! They had to tame down her sexiness to play the role of Susie. I'm not gay, but if I was she'd be my type.
I love every single character. Every one of them is perfection
Love the show, binge watched season three so have to wait almost another year for season four..:(
Love love this show. Need a spin off with the Weissmans and Maisels. They crack me up!
I JUST found this show! Yes, Dec 2019! I am not a avid Movie or TV watcher. But I got hooked and watched all three series this month! Very delightful. I love the acting the characters, CLOTHES and the 50's 60's. The only thing is the language, for me, I just try to over look it, of course , there are times it is needed. But all in all you all are doing a great job, Although, am not Jewish, I worked many years with Jewish families so I find it fun! I think we should get back to joking about ourselves again, life is too short to have to be political correct! Thank you all!
Me too!!! Just started watching this month. Finished and started again. My husband’s cousin told me about it.
I love all of them. They are all so fantastic, the show is brilliant, LOVE!
Love, love, love this show! It translates into Italian families I grew up around, it truly is everyone! I'm amazed at the dialog, costumes (to die for!) and honest truth that holds these families together.
Binge watched season 3, bring on season 4
I LOVE the fast paced dialogue!
as a chinese person living in asia who has not met anyone that’s jew this show is great
sherrysicle to be honest it’s crazy how religion is in china. In my school I work with a few Chinese and they really don’t know much about other ethnicities, races and religions outside of their own. Who do you feel about that? I am just curious btw and I want to learn
Markus Patients 😂😂😂😂 thank you I didn't notice that. Haha yes I definitely meant HOW
Markus Patients I always ask them. I can tell you are Asian but I can't tell from where, so I ask. They are very friendly, and nice people.
Markus Patients I ask them what religion they practice
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a Black woman, may I say that I LOOOOOOOOVE this show!
As a white guy I agree with your sentiments.
As a cat, meow
As a white guy can i say your skin color doesnt matter it just means you like well done tv! Thank you for sharing your race to the world. Not sure why your comment felt so cringy.....just did....I couldnt imagine saying i like "Blank" and btw im white lol....that would just be awfully unconfortable for everyone and very cringy/ un classy!
@@jhartigan82 you're the only one with a cringy response. She is acknowledging that she doesn't have to be Jewish to love this show. As a incel white guy you will never understand what it's like to share your diverse point of view. Now go back to your moms basement you troll.
@@hernalexito if Nkiruka said that based on the question posed at 7:15 regarding Jewish Culture, then your comment is valid. She didnt though, and overall color should not matter with what hsows you love. I am white, but not all white people are jewish... and absolutely do not understand those cultural comments in the show, but i still love it.
Absolutely LOOOOVE this show! The costumes are amazing, the actors are amazing, the dialogues are amazing!!! Looking forward to season 4!
because of Abe, I call my kid's friends Doty.
It's so funny/weird to see folks out of character. BEcause they've done such an excellent job of BEING those characters. An incredible ensemble. And I love the 30's screwball pace of the dialogue, though the actors don't. LOL
What a bunch of talented actors, such a good show.
Amazing attention to details. Awesome talent & oh la la the dialogue !💕💕💕
Fantastic acting. Entire cast. Love the series. Waiting for encore!
Started watching this and man love every bit of this show.
Love the show, Each and every character is so well etched, it is amazingly great! And the dialogue, the wit, just too good!
It's nice to see how specificity can increase the universal aspects of a story, and visa versa.
Best show EVER...Can't wait for season 4, please don't make us wait too long.
Superb cast ,clearly giving their all to a wonderful show-thank you all so very much
This is my go to show. It makes me laugh and dream and forget of the present. Love them all!
Beautiful show. Thanks to everyone involved.
They are all great actor. Love this series. Can’t wait until season 4 starts
I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this show. I love all the characters. I love everything about it. Did I already say that I love the show?? Lol. Because I do love this show!
Love love love this show. Thank you to the actors for sharing your thoughts about your work - you are all incredible. And, thanks to the writers and directors and producers - you are incredible!
this show is just amazing. I even go back and watch my favorite parts all the time :)
I can see my parents, grandparents during this era. Hilarious show!
Barbara My husband and his family used to go to Kutcher’s in the summer which is now torn down but represented in the show.
I love that Alex did her Miss Celine voice
I feel seen. I LURVE seeing this mishigas mishpocha of the 50s and 60s. So loving all of the everythings abt this show
Galdjlajf aljaljdfladjfla full of meshuggeners but lovable ones.
Only just found this show, just binge watched first 2 seasons, love it, season 3 to watch now.
I LOVE this show! Can't wait for the next season. Love the characters, the wardrobe etc.
I was surprised the last season ended so abruptly after 8 episodes. What happened, did they run out of money? Anyone else wish Amazon would sell the clothing we see in the show? They do an excellent take on 50's fashion, certainly better than anything I saw my female relatives wear.
Lindybop is a great source for 50 and 60 style clothing.
Not sure but I've read there will be another season. Apparently, they were in pre-production when coronavirus hit.
I absolutely love this show. The characters, the story, the costumes. All of it!!!
I love this show so much. I’m so sad I have to wait a year for the next season 😩
omg yes that quick fire dialogue was fire. that's one of the things i loved about it!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love this show! Can’t wait for season 4! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I miss Monk😭😭😭😭
Millie B. SAME! Monk is literally the reason I watched this show, because I heard tony shaloub was in it so I was like “Ok!” And of course Abe’s my favorite character. But seriously, does anyone else notice the relationship Midge and Abe have? They have those little bonding moments, like how she told her father first that Joel and her might be getting back together, and she told her father first about Benjamin, and her father got so mad at Joel for cheating.
Love Monk! I got to edit some of his scenes when I took film classes in college.
One of the best, most amazingly written, crazy good acting and phenomenal wardrobe shows I have ever had the pleasure of devouring! LOVE IT!
Miss Maisel I adore you, please come back soon ❤
What a great show. Can't get enough
Love the entire cast and especially the show!!! I actually learned a lot about Jewish religion watching.. I knew some, but this show helped clarify questions I wanted to ask, but was afraid to offend by questioning... I LOVE this era and they show a happier, fun-loving side of things..even in bad situations.
Love the show BUUUUT there's been another jewish family really loved on TV. The Frans, parents of Miss Fine from The Nanny
Probably the best show in my lifetime!
Love this show and on the edge of my seat for season 4!!!
I just love this cast so damn much i hope this tv show never ends or has like 10 seaons at least with the same crew and specially with the same script writers!!!!!🤩
What a great interview!
I’m super WASP-y. I only knew one Jewish person until I went to college. I love that this show gives me a glimpse of something I might never have seen otherwise.
I love this show and I'm not Jewish & am 69 years old. Loved Gilmore Girls also. The fast dialog is wonderful and love Midge and all the characters. Suzie is a hoot!
The Jewish connection is very cool. Rings things out in the open for all of us to learn. I LOVE this show for all the same reasons everyone elese does too. However, as a creative you make the 50’s never more stunning visually than I have ever seen before.
Utter genius. It's perfect in every way. Best show on TV.
Very entertaining so far.
Yes, there have been Jewish families on TV who are beloved! I loved Fran Fine and Sylvia Fine on The Nanny! They were hilarious!
Absolutely love this show!
Love the show and season 3 is great.
Love this show. I hope it continues.
I just rewatched all three seasons...where is season 4 😳🤗😂
Marvelous Mrs Maisel is the best TV show ever♥️⚡♥️
I cannot wait for season 4!!
In my opinion this is one of the best TV series today.
Love this show. Hope filming for new season will start soon. Can't wait to see what happens after Midge was fired
About Caroline Aaron's comment that there hasn't been a beloved Jewish family on TV before: I can think of one. There was a wonderful show called _Brooklyn Bridge_ that ran in the early 90s. It was an extraordinary portrait of a Jewish family in the 1950s, a sweet, high-quality series and very positive. Sort of a Jewish _Wonder Years_ set 10-15 years earlier. But iirc, there was no young woman character like Midge for girls to look up to.
