As a middle aged black guy, I'm not exactly the target audience for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but I love this show intensely. It's some of the smartest writing and subtly hilarious acting I've seen in years and Tony Shalhoub's character is my favorite. I hope it keeps on going.
The fact that he is 65 is mind blowing

I love Tony Shalhoub in everything he has ever done. He is such a gifted and diverse actor, and has a wonderful gift for subtle (and not so subtle) humour. I also think there is something to be said for a POC actor who can believably play Italian, Jewish, Arab, Greek, and likely any number of other ethnicities. He is a national treasure.
Such a likeable guy.
He will always & forever be Monk to me ❤️
I can’t describe how Much I love Tony and Monk. I rewatch it each week at least one episode 😂 it’s the perfect show to laugh, relax while at the same time enjoy a great crime, mystery drama. He’s the best actor in the world, the way he portrayed Monk is phenomenal.
This guy is the definition of a gentle soul. No pretense. Just calm, unassuming, warm, and kind. Love you Shalhoub!

He has been one of my favorite actors for years. Hilarious, dead serious and everything in between he can do it all. Sweet, soft-spoken & he oozes a sexy vibe that is uniquely his own

Tony is such a nice, humble guy. Very intelligent and a fabulous actor. I really like Monk. That was a great show. It's nice to see him as a guest on this show. He's so much fun. Wonderful sense of humor and personality!
He’s my absolute favorite actor. Seriously. When I saw Monk... he captured humor, drama, love... like adoration and just plain crazy. I’m like... who is this guy. Watched all 8 seasons a few times. I will be checking out Mrs Maisle.
So happy he’s back on tv!!! I’m sure he’s sick of hearing it but Monk was one of the best shows ever. One of the few shows of that time that had me laughing out loud. I loved the cast interactions (especially with his first therapist) and the acting and writing was superb for a mostly lighthearted show. Love it so much. Bingeing it again now. :)
