We had them 2-27 infantry during oef 5 March 04- March 05. We also tested out fast attack (i belive was the name) we had a guy from natick research that brought them to us.
Bro! This was a good one. I would have liked to get ahold of a case or two of those for sure. Keep doing what you do it’s appreciated by true enthusiasts . Haters gonna hate and a skater well.. he’s gonna skate. Cheers
I have 1 of these rare gems. Mine is the spaghetti menu. I'll never open it, I'm glad I got it when I saw it. Atleast I know what is possibly in mine now. Thanks!
We had these when i was in Afghanistan in 2004-2005, we also test fast attack ration (full day ration 3 meals). The best one of these was the spaghetti meal.
Since when are these rare? sure they aren't as common as the standard meals, but these are far from rare. This is also the newer slimmed down version. The older (90's) Ration, Cold Weather was a 2 pouch per "meal" affair with a LOT more in them. Truly one of the best rations fielded by the US military.
I love watching mre reviews, haven't gotten to see many of yours because you always sound as if you're yelling into the mic. Is it your mic or are you actually a yeller when ypu speak? Anyway the review looks great but I can't listen because of this 😅 just thought I'd let you know. Please take it as constructive criticism.
Serving in the Army I dined regularly on LRRP rations. They were the best. This was back in the 80s and we didn’t have cold weather rations then.
Can't believe they took a half oz of peanut butter away from American troops. 1 oz of peanut butter is just not enough
Not kidding when you say elusive. I never saw one when I was active duty. I thought they were a myth for the longest time.
I haven't seen another since these were available.

This was something definitely that I would try.
Have a great week.

I still have 2 left. I doubt I'll ever open them.

I carry 2 GI canteen cups and stand the packets up in them as they’re reconstituting with the hot water.
I have one as well , I thought about opening it but haven’t and probably won’t. Thanks for the review!

Hello from Bowdon, GA!
I’m shocked the tasters choice didn’t make it. You’ve had way older before
Those red packs from the 2000s didn't age well.
I feel like Ameriqual just didn't get the message that it was supposed to be called "meal cold weather".
That’s a good point. Figuring out what to call it.
good googa mooga! Turkey Tetrazzini! My kryptonite, we meet again....
considering the environment these are designed for don't forget...don't melt the yellow snow 😂
Oh nah I spilled my Lemon lime electrolyte powder bro. It’s fine 🤣
It’s amazing how peanut butter can be good for decades but nuts in cake go bad quickly

I wonder why these didn't come with the chemical cooking wafers and bag. Those would have been ideal for a cold weather pack.
Pardon me but did you say 2004?

Peanut butter has always been 1.2 oz
What makes that cold weather?
The US Military uses Freeze-dried items in their cold weather rations to avoid issues with wet pack items freezing.
IT´s a good video, but please don´t scream..it´s really anoying.
Dude, i like your vids but you Sound like a Sports anouncer. Please slow your speach and not so loud. I cant watch it this way
