I dropped from Computer Science university not because i was unable to understated the fundamentals of science but because i couldn't understand myself.

University can be a dark place. Personally, it makes me only want to see the end of the road, not the whole journey. You're right. We don't have many role models, so it's hard to keep yourself motivated enough. At some point I realized that most professors only come to do their job, but not to guide us in any other way... But we can say the same about us, the students. We want to finish a university hoping that we will have a chance at a better job. University is a business and we (the students) are the customers and the products.

Final year here literally at the end… I sometimes or more often had this feeling. The problem is that I feel I’ve kept going till all of this I was going forward is suffer. I’ve been really good with assignments but I feel the always not happy going forward. I know university isn’t for everyone and we all have some kind of path. Kudos to you man your wise words on video tells me a similar mindset like myself.

Believe it or not I’m pretty sure we used to go to school together at SEK in Budapest, and life is so ironic sometimes because I was just looking through Facebook and I saw a video of yours and I thought I’d check out your channel! Very inspiring! I have also just dropped out of uni, to pursue my goals, and I am experiencing a very similar emotional roller coaster as you are. But hey, we’re gonna kill it! I wish you the best of luck and I am now excited to follow your journey!

Hi Aron, I hope u remember me.
Yeah, still suffering from VG addiction... I tried to quit it many times, but it just keeps returning back. I watched lot of videos online after to understand if it's addiction or not. And to tell u the truth it's not clear anymore to me: Some say: if only play 1-2 hrs. it's fine, it's okay if u take it as a reward & do what's needed to be done at the end of the day. Others say: VG are really bad for u, it affects your mental health, decreases your productivity, makes u lose the spark that u talked about in the video and hence just Quit it!
Earlier this summer break which I was hyped for to do all my studies for placements but guess what-> I ended up not doing it because of University Online course for same that lead me to go back to VG as the Uni course made me feel demotivated and ruined my plans for Vacations leading me to lose my 2 Imp Months.
Coming to present I somehow managed to get up back from that depression of losing my whole two months thanks to the support of my family. I am at the moment in 7th Sem and managed to clear my Mid Sem Exams and am back into this loop of playing VG. After watching this video, it made me realized maybe I play VG cause I want to escape my IRL- where I don't have any plans for my future, don't have much idea of RL world except waking up, eating, studying and sleeping (LOOP), no achievement to be proud of, always fail to complete my goals for e.g.: Quitting VG, having to go to Uni cause I need a DEGREE LABEL and it feels like doing labor that I have never opted to do, each day I go there cursing the system and waiting to return home to enjoy the process of making my in-game characters strong and get new one's only to repeat the process. (I had like to mention during the summer break I was watching a lot of self-improvement content and I feel it may have also backfired since I tried to change a lot in my life at once.) I don't know how to ask this because it's supposed to my decision but what had u done given u were in my situation or what would u advise me to do. Please let me know.
Coming back to your video I think this was the exact state I was in, and I made it to the part of choosing whether to continue or quit.
I ended up staying cause I didn't manage to answer a Q. What will u do after quitting? And though my ans. was I will figure it out or I will do this etc, it was not acceptable as it's mandatory to have a degree acc. to everyone here in INDIA to apply anywhere or get a job (which is true I guess for most part). Also, the reasoning I was given-> that if u start something u need to finish it too... So yeah, I ended up doing Uni. Had this video released 2 years ago the day u released VG addiction one, I would have definitely quitted. Now I am at last 2-Sem of Uni, so may as well end up doing it. Looking forward to hearing from u about my situation and your upcoming "Leap of Faith Video".
Keep doing the good work man, I am here rooting for u and see your journey.

Same as you, start at 4-5 years playing videogames, my first console was Nintendo Ds, and Ps2 and spend a lot of time on It. Then Ps3, ps4 and computer and there I started to get really addict and came to your same conclusion: that’s just a virtual world, maybe you are a hero in it but as you turn off the game you aren’t a hero, but a loser. You have no friends, the monitor light make you feel tired and you can’t focus, your dopamine receptors are completely gone.
And it “vampirize” your time that could have been used better. Just like porn you pass hours and hours watch it and it destroys you. And it become like a second work, so isn’t funny anymore. Plus the modern day game developers are a huge industry that make shit soulless videogames (but epic trailers so they can scam you) and just wants your money.
Think I also got some kind of burn out from videogames, since playing it for more than 1 hour gave me headchace and make me feel bad everytime.
I took my bike and managed to do something like 4000km in two months across Europe, and I wasn’t interested on videogames.

No one person in specific. But think about it this way. There are hundreds of thousands of people that graduate university and going into the work force every year. While there aren't many entrepreneurs that are being made year by year (or at least not in my age bracket)

Friend, are you looking for happiness? If yes, then you will not find it either in material things or in people! The happy ones will be in Paradise. In this world there is no reckoning, but there are deeds; in the future world there is no deed, but there is reckoning. And if you are looking for a person to follow, then the Lord of the Worlds named him for us - The Messenger of Allah was a wonderful example for you. If you are looking for answers to your questions, read the Quran and you will find the answer, may the Lord guide you. And I want to ask you, do you consider yourself Smart or Reasonable? A wise person will choose what will benefit him in the future!
