What was your first motorcycle as an adult?
Suzuki RG250 Gamma 2 stroke weapon 😎
A 1987 Honda CBR500 . It was all blacked out…absolutely loved it.
Learned how to ride on a Buell Blast, then got a used Buell M2 Cyclone , then a KTM 690 Duke, then a KTM 690 SMCR. I someday want one of these Tiger 660 or a Trident.
My first street bike was a used '78 Honda CB550 - Four K I bought as a teenager. I didn't even have my license yet. Such a great bike to have as a very young rider in the eighties. Big difference from the Kawasaki KX80 dirt bike I was used to riding.
Thanks for sharing!
Hey Rembo, you’re on the mark about checking the tire pressure before every ride. Once I was riding my beefy heavy cruiser and I couldn’t understand why I was having such a difficult time balancing it. I didn’t want to leave it or call for a tow so I rode it a few miles home through twisties. When I got home I found that the rear tire 100% completely deflated. Apparently the stem valve cover was pressing down on the stem. Had I known that before riding it home, I wouldn’t have. But not knowing made me dumb, happy and confident.
Wow, lesson learned. You are lucky you made it back.
The first bike I owned, after riding many borrowed rides, was a 1986 Yamaha YXS600SC Radian bought brand-new in ‘86. Glad you are feeling better, my Brother!
Thank you very much. And thank you for sharing your first bike choice
@@RemboUSMC YW! I kept that bike so long that I got what I paid for it new, LOL! 20yrs or so. Wish I still had it. It was a great bike to teach beginners on, despite the short gearing, midrange stonk, and touchy frt dual disc/drum rear brake setup. My fiancee and my nephew would have has a blast on it. It was easy to ride, small/light, but it was quite a weapon if you twisted that throttle in anger. I surprised a lot of sport bike riders back in the day with that little innocent looking UJM. It was a parts-bin special at a bargain price utilizing left-over Maxim 550 frames, generic bits, and cutting-edge FJ600/FZ600 sport bike frt end, brakes, and powertrain!
I just bought MTS Rally last week…well not my first bike, nor my first Ducati….but I feel like having bought a first motorcycle 😊
Good choice!
Glad to see you back making videos!!
Me too!
hope you're feeling better!
Thank you.
Glad to see you are improving, range of motion seems to better.... best wishes... the most important thing when you buy a new bike, especially young folks, please buy your gear first!
Absolutely
Well presented Rembo🫡 Hopefully you get better soon so you can enjoy the summer riding weather & feel comfortable & rebuilding your confidence.🤙
Thank you
2002 Ducati 750 Sport
Great video…best with your Rehab and recovery!!!
Thank you!
Ducati Monster was my first
Great bike!
Say Rembo, Glad to hear your mishap wasn't any worse, bad enough I'm sure but at least you're on the mend ! SEMPER FI
Thanks David, I appreciate it.
Where abouts are you located at ? I'm 78 and want to start riding again. I've been looking at a Chinese bike I can pick up reasonably. I live in Coarsegold, Calif.
1982 Yamaha YZ 250, 2 stroke masterpiece. Hope you’re on the mend devil dog.
Ohh the YZ250!!!
Saludos , me alegra ver que estas mejor✌
Thank you. I appreciate it.
KLR 650 is the best beginner bike
I agree, it is like a pickup truck of bikes.
Hey Rembo, hoping that all is well with you and yours. Will you eventually conclude your review of the 2024 Triumph Scrambler 400x and metaphorically get back on the horse?
Yes, but it won't be for a few weeks.
