We always book the Thermal Suite when we travel Norwegian. It is worth every penny! My only suggestion would be that in addition to water and fruit, they add coffee and pastries. That would make it truly perfect!!!
I’m gonna buy a pass for that just booked the 21 day sailing from Cape Town to Barcelona around Africa in March 2024 ….gonna be epic. Going solo too so long excursion days or sea days gonna use these thermal spas to chill haha
Lol the thermal spa! I get at least a day pass once or twice (next cruise im doing the whole cruise lol) We also always do a couples massage, Adam gets a shave and beard grooming, and usually a deep tissue massage. I have to have 1 other massage treatment done. The heated herbal poultice massage is the most relaxing ever. Those hot herbs work like magic on your muscles and brain! I loved the seaweed wrap too! Note** Spas are something I only do on cruises lol. Its a rare treat. We cruise once or twice a year. Its not something I do regularly close to home! If you can only chose one, try the herbsl poultice. Its an amazing experience.
Thank you for this "Insiders View" of the Thermal Spa facilities! I always wondered what was included and your tour is more revealing than the general walk through tour we get on the day of embarkment. This information is like gold! Definitely will help us decide if the "juice" is worth the squeeze! Thanks again! 😎😎😎
Thanks for the video! I used the spa on the Pearl in 2017 and loved it! I'm sailing on her again in Oct and can't wait to get back in there! Glad you had a great time!
I had a weekly pass on Norwegian Bliss in November 2023 (Mexican Riviera cruise) - I loved it. The thermal spa was amazing on Bliss. I had also a weekly pass on Norwegian Spirit in December 2023 when cruising home to French-Polynesia. Note: There are no tubs/pools in Spirit's spa. It didn't matter to me, I just enjoyed the quiet time in sauna/steambath (I'm a great sauna lover) and relaxing on a heated lounger. And for my next cruise - I've just booked a weekly pass on Norwegian Jewel (Alaska Cruise in October 2024). The NCL Spas are really one of the reasons for me to be loyal to NCL - Sapphire 🎉. Greetings from Moorea 🌴 🏖😎🇵🇫🇫🇷🇪🇺
The BEST time for the spa is after dinner - hardly any one there. We would go in the pool then hot tub and then relax (take a nap) on a lounger and the staff would wake us at closing. We then went back to our room, change and had a fun rest of the evening at the bars/live music. We would even hit the bar before going into the spa so we could sip on wine (in a plastic cup) while relaxing in the pool. By far our favorite part of the ship.
I love a good thermal spa! We had it for the week on NCL Jade in the Greek Islands but this one looks even better. I am just waiting for bookings to open up on my upcoming Norwegian Star cruise to Iceland and Greenland.
10 on NCL! Thermal Suites on NCL are awesome!! I like the Pearl Thermal Suite as well, so I actually booked the Pearl for 2024 in Europe. I already booked my pass.
I love the NCL Thermal Spas but have found they are different on every ship. The Bliss had salt rooms and a few other items but We are excited to go on the Gem in April. Do you know if the Gem Thermal Spa is the same as Pearl? Once we bought a Thermal Spa package, We have purchased the Spa on all our cruises. Just love it. Do you know if they will lower the price once you get on the ship?
Just got off the NCL Jade a week ago and bought the thermal spa package. I thought it was nice, but probably wouldn’t do it again on this ship. I may have detoxed too much and it interrupted a couple of days on the cruise. So be careful how much you do in a short time if you believe you have an abundance of toxins. Apparently I had more than I realized.
I love thermal spas & this one looks incredible. Any way to get an idea/ ballpark on price? I understand it could vary greatly, but are we talking roughly $20/day or more like $50/day!?!?
There is a limited amount of passes they sell. We always buy in advance, to be sure we get a cruise long pass. On Embarkment day, there may be very little available - you never know.
We enjoy an occasional visit to the thermal spa but the price for the weekly pass is much too high for the amount of time spent. I wish that daily passes were sold.
Yes, it depends on how much you will use it, and when. Certain times of the day it can be very crowded. Also depends on why you are going on a cruise. Some people love to go, go, go and be super busy on a cruise, and a week long pass isn't worth it. For me and my hubby, we are totally into rest & relaxation (aka boring...), so a weeklong pass is totally worth it for us - we go every night for several hours after dinner - so quiet and few people in there.
Love the thermal suite. Always book for entire cruise
I love the thermal spa! Worth every penny.❤

I'm watching this from under my electric blanket, looks so nice and warm in there!! 😂😂
I love the thermal spa! Plan to use it every day on our 16 day transatlantic!
Sounds awesome 👏
It's great that you had the opportunity to have this collaboration @LifeWellCruised

Love a Spa!! 10 💯%
I love using spas when cruising so I look forward to spending a lot of time there for my next cruise!!
I have spent time in this spa a few years ago. It is beautiful, and very nice. A bit crowded whenever we went, but still really nice!

Thank you for the spa tour. Great information. We have often taken advantage of the different specials offered at the spa.
Sounds great! Thanks for watching 😊
Great video! Makes me want to book right now!
A 10 I always book the thermal spa on every cruise I am on. Thanks for the review,

I love a Spa Day...especially if my feet hurt from all the excursion walking!
10 for sure!

Does anyone know if there is a Thermal Spa on the Norwegian Jewel???
How long is the sailing & what was the cost?... if you don't mind sharing! TIA
Yes there is one on Jewel. I am going on a 9 day sailing and it is $229 unlimited

Is this extra cost. I’ll be on pearl end of Oct 2024. I’d definitely use this daily
Hi Illana are the daily passes hard to get and what’s the price for single day though rates change
Do you know if the have 1 day spa pass? I'm going with NCL Jewel. Thanks!!!

Is the spa open on embarkation day? Also, what time does it close?
Are the sauna, cold plunge and steam room separated or are there coed options for those features?
I usually get a massage.I’d love to do a spa with all that.
I love thermal spas & this one looks incredible. Any way to get an idea/ ballpark on price? I understand it could vary greatly, but are we talking roughly $20/day or more like $50/day!?!?
7 day cruise on Prima was
$400 per person for entire week after gratuity is added.
Same on the Bliss
Can you book 1 day ?
Thank you! Do you think buying the pass ahead of time is a better deal than getting the pass on embarkation day?
It might be less in advance, so if it’s a good deal I’d probably buy it :)

@@suzannegeer9375How much was it?
@@suzannegeer9375I called NCL in May to book for a November cruise on the Star and the man said there weren't many left.
The thermal spa in the Pearl is sooo much better then the one on the Breakaway. I didnt think the pass on the Breakaway was worth it.
Great to know. We really liked the one on NCL Pearl

I will not cruise on a ship without a Thalassotherapy Pool!
