Outstanding! When performed live, the deep-bass pounding and echoing drums intertwined with this haunting melody, "brings me to my knees"!

I saw the show now in 2016 in germany mannhein sap arena it was fantastic. The only thing that bugged me a little bit was that sometimes you couldnt here the singer because the pipes and the drums were to loud not like here.

Is it just me, or are the tattoos, which take place outside of Scotland, more interesting to watch than Edinburgh's tattoo. Don't get me wrong, I love Scotland, all things Scottish. My ancestors come from there. I lived there for two years, in the 1980's. At that time, I attended the Edinburgh Tattoo. I've watched variou RUclips videos, of recent Edinburgh Tattoos, and those in Europe. It just seems like those that I've watched, which were held in Berlin, Germany, Apeldoorn, Netherlands, and Basil, Switzerland, were really great. They also seem to showcase more bagpipe tunes, than Edinburgh. Not that Edinburgh doesn't put on a good show. It just seems like theirs has become more like an Olympic opening ceremony. I think that a "military tattoo" should showcase more of what the world's military talent (and that of the host country) has to offer. I'm not sure if Chinese girls, twirling colored ribbons, or whether North Korean or Tongan dancers, have a place in such a program. I'd like to see more bagpipers from around the world. Whether they be Gurkhas, NYPD, or others, or even military marching bands (playing regular instruments). Maybe I give this too much thought, it's just my opinion.

+Michelle Johnson . Riverdance has hip-hop dancers and flamenco dancers. I paid a lot of money to see the show. I paid to see Irish dancing not hip-hop and flamenco. It didn't fit in artistically, too forced. I noticed the same in the Edi shows. I fear it is more about a diversity agenda than music.

I've played at Rotterdam And Antwerp music shows both were successful but not enjoyable. You get there after half a day travel strait into practice that night you play in show then you have free drinks in bar for 30 mins and then bed up at 6:00 and back to traveling and then glories of glories work in the morning
