I have had back to eden for over 50 yrs. Jethro Kloss was a treasure, a true genius. His family and his story is amazing. Everything I ever used from this book works! I highly recommend. Just don't lend it out, you might not get it back. I've had to replace mine a few times 😆 back to eden was the first natural medicine book I owned. G-Ds medicine works!

I have the book and the cookbook. I have been getting orders from country life through a coop in the UP it is a part of an Adventist group. Now I get it direct to my house.

I’m going down a similar herbal path. I would love to see videos on your book collection and what you like or don’t like about them. I have a few but there are so many. It’s so cool Julianne is taking her herbal classes. I’m in my second full career and probably will keep herbalist studies a necessary hobby for today’s world. However I know a doctor in NYC that although he is a cardiologist, infectious disease and integrative medical doctor, he says he’s most proud of his certification in herbalism.

Hi Annie! Great information and you looked like you all had fun! We have a small business and pick up parts from a company in Lancaster County so I’ve been to our scratch and dent Mennonite grocery / market! I found Hard Red Wheat berries which seem to be hard to find. We like to get the tube refrigerator cinnamon rolls that you bake. Today they were 69 cents instead of $3.50 in the regular grocery store. And they had massive local cantaloupes for $2. Always a fun trip! Safe travels home
FYI: country life is the only place I have been able to find concentrated cherry juice my husband uses. He says it significantly improves his joint pain!!!

Annie, those Ceanberry Beans you picked up are actually delicious. We call them October beans here in North Carolina. They are like a Pinto Bean only milder, and they don't cause flatulence like pintos. I actually prefer them

We shop at woodmans In Wisconsin prices are probably as good or better something to check out i know there is one in Rockford Illinois but might be as far south as they are
Nice! Those cranberry beans must be an east coast thing because I was thinking of ordering the seed from my seed store in Nova Scotia. Went with some different ones though that are kinda fun. Great stores and good on ya for supporting. Is a funnel cake the same as an angel food cake?
No they are like a deep fried fair type of food. You usually eat them with powdered sugar on top and sometimes people put fruit topping with ice cream.

Can you do a video on how to properly store say flour, meal, sugar, pinto beans, rice, pasta, spices of all kinds etc ?? I've got food grade buckets with gamma lids, I already have my pinto beans in one of the buckets, but I'm not sure I'm storing them right, or not. Please and Thank you. God Bless.

This kinda reminds me of a couple of Mennonite stores we have, they moved here from all over, and was very cheap, you could afford to shop there, 6-8 years in and they've gotten so high it's unreal. I've been wanting a big canner pressure cooker, but there's was $250.00 up to almost $400.00 ! I got one at Walmart for $68.00 !
