My favorite CYL unit is prob B!Marth and B!Lysithea. Marth and Lysithea are two of my favorite FE characters and I love their designs. Both of them have had it a bit rough initially but right now I think both Marth and Lysithea are incredible units. Though Special Spiral 4 has had a lot to do with that for both of them lol

Nice list, really hoping Eirika gets a busted refine cause shes my favorite CYL so far. As for what cyl 7 brings, im hoping corrin gets shield pulse 4. Theyve had a habit of giving legendary/mythic units that get cyl alts a remix of their prf specials/skills, so it would make sense for her to have that and a negating fang-esque ability. It would also probably help all omnitanks in general, which i feel that theyre kind of forcing us back into for AR what woth Embla and Freyr being released.
Great list! I think I would agree with pretty much all of them, although I am sad that Roy is in D (can’t say I disagree lmao) however the arcane devouer is exactly what I wanted for him and he’s so much better now!
Awesome tier list. My rankings wouldnt change too much honestly, but I think Claude, Lysithea and Eliwood need to be higher. Not sure why people sleep so much on lysithea and eliwood. And with investment I feel like claude is a really strong tank, even without iotes shield. Ive gotten mine to tank, L!sigurd, A!Laegjarn, D!Dagr, D!Chrom and more. Really wish he got full NFU, iote's shield, guard, scowl and non pierceable DR in his refine, but he still works great for me.
I love brave chrom the most because I have a personal love for chrom, and the fact that he inspires for new teams is great, now with the new CYL units I have seen him as a REALLY good partner for brave robin, his C skill is what I needed for a support for brave chrom, wing of mercy without wing of mercy and being a red unit is really good for him to go fight any green that can appear. (Brave has changed!! in Robin does miracles, basically free movement around the whole field without a real set up.)
I'll say Brave seliph fallen a bit (i have +10 and i use him everytime) due to IS having a blast on keep releasing alot of speedy unit this year like M!Ayra but his nfu, +1 movement, true damage and miracle really sell him the most

Maybe im crazy, but I’ve found his killing power and bulk via miracle has been heavily neutered. To be clear, he’s still incredible. Like being much worse when you were previously god tier still makes you good. He’s easily S tier no doubt. But honestly, I’ve personally found he can still struggle against omnitanks in particular. I’m not sure how much I’d drop him, but he would stay in S but not be number 1 for me. In all honesty I like B!Chrom more than him, but that’s definitely just a preference thing

If you tell any new player that BLucina is in the same tier as BTiki they'll think you're insane, BTiki is basically indestructible in the lower tiers or if you run a bunch of "old" units, meanwhile Lucina is just a frail lance infantry unit that desperately needs an arcane lance(because there's a sea of infantry units that eclipse her in the supportive side) and a ton of investment. Lucina bias aside, it's a pretty good list, maybe Claude isn't that low? I gained so much respect for the guy when he destroyed my catriaball defense the other day in VoH, against certain teams he truly shines. Let's hope Marth gets a cracked refine, he's like the mascot, so he NEEDS this, GK well... who cares, I'm still salty after all these years hahaha, hopefully IS treats him like the joke he is once again and gives him a mediocre refine, because... to quote Oblivion: "I'm a salty little b*tch" hahaha
Maybe if you are a new player B!Tiki can seem daunting, but honestly in the current meta B!Tiki just struggles so much to do anything and really doesn't have a place. B!Lucina at the very least does have a small niche that can provide value, especially with the high amounts of speed we've seen. And yeah, I would be very amused as well if Gatekeeper's refine flopped!

Brave Marianne's gravity restriction on her dance isn't great, but her biggest issue really is getting her special off consistently. Without like Flashing Blade she's not going to get it off enough to matter.
Very good list overall ! :) For my personnal view on unit I use a lot: I think Brave Roy is heavily slept on, especialy when Arcane Devourer make him way WAY better then Eliwood now. Sure he 5* lock compared to Eliwood, but I think the unit itself now have pretty great potential. I would place it at least 1 tier higher, even 2 ! I would also move Micaiah, Celica and Claude 1 tier up. Micaiah is really insane at sniping save and frails unit really easily. Brave Celica perform well on both godsword, galeforcer and late match cleaner. Claude have a tamed refine but he have so many good effect that he still do his job very well ! :D

I have ran into super invested +10 B!Claudes though which were cool to see.

My man out here with the B!Marianne defense god bless. I hope her refine gives her wings + slaying, other effects would be nice but those are definetely the keys to success for her. Aside from her B!Camilla is my 2nd favorite, i run her in Dark with F!Lilith & V!Leo to great success.

Imo, byleth being that high isnt so good, units now are released with 48 spd and super boons, she lacks pierce and offensive range units have higher speed than defensive units through higher speed seals like blade session vs spd form, other than that good vid
I once faced a fully invested B!Marth in AR-D and I'm never sleeping on him again. Guy is a terrific omnitank with healing, vantage and tons of stats, but like most omnitanks, you really need to commit to him. Citrinne probably indirectly buffed him, by making the conditions easier to meet.
I'd say that Gerik was the biggest buff of all time to him (in terms of meeting the buff check). I've been using Marth in both season usually to great success, but I dont use Shining Emblem so i outsource all of the buffing to the support units. I would have to do so many shenanigans just to meet the buff check and it was even worse in Light season where the def could simply have yune and make it like 20 times harder or impossible to meet the check. Now that Gerik's refine is out though, I barely have to try at all. I have Gotoh in Light and Elimine in Astra with Gerik and i very easily meet the buff check by just positioning my units to get ready to tank the defense. Gerik nearly completely counters Yune, puts Ashera to shame as Null Panic and buffing Support and is overall a cool guy. Hes definitely a top priority pick up for anyone trying to use Marth bc he just makes it so easy.
@@DTMFEH Myrrh's ability to frontline is probably way more useful in SD, but GK's ability to support is very valuable in AR-O. Even before you look at all the great support skills he can run with Detailed Report in tact (Inf Nfu, Inf Pulse for VA/GLR charging, Inf Hexblade which is even a seal), GK's weapon 1-ups Peony's refine by granting +5 Atk/Spd in a range of more than half of an AR map. Its weird to me that that part of the GK kit is always overlooked when omnitanks have to reach insane speeds to continue to beat the newest nukes. I find Guidance 4 is not only prevalent in SD but also on the hardest AR-Ds as well, so bringing GK on at least one version of an omnitank team to dismantle the warping traps that are in those defenses is something i try to do as often as possible. As for being on AR-D, I'm not sure neither GK nor Myrrh really stand a chance of stopping good galeforcers, so that not a point for either one.
I do this as sort of a yearly tradition in the run-up to CYL to take a look back before the new releases. I am aware of the upcoming CYL 7 units and CYL 5 refines so no worries!

B!Seliph is definitely still a terror in modes like AR-O and SD due to that extra movement an power!
