- In this fishing video I give review and my 100% honest opinion of a motion sickness wristband and if it truly works. EmeTerm Wristband is an anti-motion sickness wristband that you can purchase on Amazon. I have used it several times both inshore and offshore fishing. In this video I give you my firsthand experience and if it really works.
*In the video I state the battery life is 40-hour lifespan, but this model is actually a 30-hour battery

I know i was one of the ones who asked several times. EmeTerm and ReliefBand are the same anti-emetic technology. I was introduced to it by my cousin, who got it to be able to go on certain rides at Disney that always make her feel sick. She used it for the last cruise she went on as well, instead of her normal dramamine. We appreciate the review.
No problem, this band worked great for me. I can't see myself going back out on a boat without it.
This was a really good review with a lot of detail and you mentioned things that I had not previously considered . You seem to have a knack for this! Great job brother! Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! This has come in clutch for me every time I go out. Yesterday it was very rough around the jetties, and I felt fine the whole time. I don't even think about getting sick anymore, what a relief using this.
@@TexasAllWaterFishing I ordered mine yesterday and will be using it in the keys the first week of Nov. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again for the awesome review!
Thanks for the insights. I was wondering about the effectiveness of these motion sickness bands.
It's legit, I'm going to keep mine on...much better than the patch.
I was listening to you talk about it after our veterans summer slam! I need to get me one
This band comes in so clutch!
You said it almost feels like you hand is falling asleep. Do you recommend putting it on the hand you reel with? It seems like if you have it on the hand that you hold the rod with that your hand may get weak since it feels like its falling asleep and risk letting go of the rod.
It's almost like the beginning stages of your hand fall asleep but not that strong of a feeling. It's hard to explain but that was the easiest way to explain it. You can wear it on either wrist it's really not very distracting just feels odd at first.
Where do you buy them at, my mom suffers badly with this motion sickness on a regular basis, and it suck as a son that I don't know how to help her with dizziness. She's been treated before, and it didn't work for her. What website can I get one please.
They're should be a link in the description section on this video. But you can find them on Amazon, I love mine. My wife & son both suffer from motion sickness too & we all wear them
I get so sick when I go diving in the ocean. I wonder if it would work to wear it until I jump in the water and then put it back on immediately when I get back in the boat?
I'm not sure but it's worth the try.
Oh god man not me crying 8 minutes in about to puke waiting to know if it works. DOES IT???!!!
Yes
I don't get seasick but my twin brother does, oh well
Lol, you're lucky!
Anxiety makes me physically sick. Would this work
I'm not sure I would read the reviews or maybe ask that question on Amazon. Sorry to hear about your anxieties.
Hi, I get stomach-aches from anxiety and I also have movement sickness. They are 2 very different feelings. I take tablets for the motion sickness, for that it works great for me. But it does not work at all with my stomach or being short of breath, when I'm anxious. Therefore I don't think these wrist bands would work for you, unfortunately. I would suggest seeing a doctor, before spending money on gadgets that are not really meant for it.
Hi I get anxiety too, my go to is anything ginger to settle the stomach, lavender has a calming affect and you use cremes, soap, roll on wrist rubs, aromatherapy and I would try acupuncture, float tank therapy and a natropath who has an apothecary who tailor natural, drug free treatments
Does this product really work in rough seas? I really need your answer
I will never say something works if it doesn't. No one paid for this video, I'm not making any money from this company. This wrist band was given to me by a patron, Laddie. She's wonderful supporter of the channel. I was on a trip with her when I became seasick, and she was wearing one and she felt fine. Later she bought me one to try out. Now I will never go out without it on, no matter what the seas are like. I have been to the jetties several times in rough water only wearing this and I've been fine. But because I suffer from motion sickness during rough seas going offshore, I will wear this along with a patch behind my ear just in case. I would 100% recommend this wrist band to anyone who suffers from motion sickness. I know several people who have told me they have tried this wrist band and they still got sick. I would double it up with the patch and maybe even pills if you're really worried about it. Better to be safe than sorry, at least the 1st time you try it.
So, do you have any information about reliefband 2.0? Have you had a chance to try reliefband 2.0?
No I don't but it sounds like the same technology.
Thanks
This video could have been 30 seconds. Does it work yes or no
What would be the point in a 30 second video? Just read a review on Amazon.
@TexasAllWaterFishing I like to see real people speaking their review. My bad man don't mean to knock your hustle. Good video. 👍
It's all good. I do have companies reach out to me to do products reviews & I'll say yes time to time but this wasn't one of them lol.
Nope... Bands, Patches, Shots... Nope
🤣 It's much better than trying to stomach it all day
@@TexasAllWaterFishing Tried them all none worked. However 5 miles out (nearshore) and inshore was not problem, but 50% of the time we'd be 10+ miles out and... 😟
dang that stinks! I said if the wristband didn't work I was going to do all 3 next trip offshore
@@TexasAllWaterFishing 🤣🤣🤣"Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"
Thanks. The only thing that’s worked for me so far is wetting myself down when I start feeling that cold sweat coming on. Cooling my body and head seems to help a lot. I’ll take a look at these
Someone told me take ginger juice out there with me and drink it when I start feeling bad.
@@TexasAllWaterFishing I would just stick with wetting down. I’ve tried most everything fishing with a pharmacist. I’ve even injected phenergan before leaving the dock. I have never tried Bonnie which some friends swear by but water helps me quickly. Then again 45 min later I may have to repeat but it allows me to fish in between. Good luck
Great review. I’ve only used it for close shore trips and had no sea sickness. I haven’t tried it yet for deeper water. I’m going on my first cruise and definitely plan to use it.
It's come in clutch for me and my son. I took my son offshore, and he suffers from motion sickness in the car. The swells were supposed to be 2 footers and were 3.5 footers. He had it on and felt the swells a little but never became sick, thank god.
It’s 100 bucks and had bad reviews it’s to expensive for it not to work.
I think it's just one of those deals, people that suffer from motion sickness sometimes nothing works for them. Mostly I think it's extreme cases. But everyone I know that has used this bracelet it's worked for them.
From 1-100 what would you really rate it???
I'm 100% honest when I'm reviewing a product. But of course, I may change my mind after I use an item after a while. However my opinion of this hasn't changed one bit. I have heard from some ppl saying products like this doesn't help them. So I think some ppl it helps & others it doesn't. If you decide to buy it I would keep my receipt & original box in case you have to return it. But I have been offshore for 36 hour & a 48 hour trip & felt fine. My wife suffers from bad motion sickness in the car. We traveled 3.5 hours & 7 hours in the car & she wore it & never felt sick. I would 100% recommend this & I'm buying her one for a cruise we booked this summer. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Great review. I am getting 1 for my wife. She gets nauseous offshore
It's very effective.
Thxs for sharing!
You bet!
