Konan days In wcw was not appreciated enough, cause in one group you had long hair Billy Kidman, baby face no mask Rey mysterio an konan just a faction that’s not talked about enough
This feud was my first exposure to Eddie Kingston. What an introduction this was and it was around this time I got back into Impact after years of them being on a channel I didn’t have. Fantastic feud here for real. Street culture mixed with pro wrestling this was fun.
Yeah, I think that was when Impact Wrestling had moved from Spike TV to the cable channel Destination America & after that on the cable channel Pop, both of which I was able to watch on DirecTV & Dish Network, respectively. This feud is how I discovered Eddie Kingston as well. Before this, I had never seen nor heard of him.
This is without a doubt my absolute favorite story line from tna it made take notice of Eddie Kingston on the mic glad I saw this because I was so happy once he got past his problems and finally became a star in the business everyone involved was great and I hope Santana has a great solo run now
I met Santana and Ortiz at House of glory wrestling when they were impact Tag Team champions every since then I acknowledge them they are my Boricua mentors
Bring back Hernandez & Homicide to reunite LAX. The tag division definitely needs an actual team that has been tagging for more than 2 seconds. Especially after losing MCMG
We need one of these History videos for all of LAX, from beginning to the very end. Maybe do it in 2 parts if it's too long. One part for the Homicide & Hernandez Era. Another for Santana & Ortiz.
I grew up with the OG LAX of Homicide & Hernandez from 2006, which formed right after Konnan destroyed the 3 Live Kru faction(BG James, WWE's Road Dogg & Ron "The Truth" Killings, currently in WWE as R-Truth), briefly known later as the 4 Live Kru with Kip James, who is known in WWE as Billy Gunn. I think that there was an incarnation of LAX in the TNA asylum days of 2002-2006 with Sonny Siaki & Apollo, but if not, never mind. I discovered TNA in the year 2004 when I saw Jeff Hardy there. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching Impact Wrestling in 2016-2019(even though I was watching before that, too, but I didn't keep up with everything due to life circumstances & discovering the new incarnation of LAX of Santana & Ortiz. Impact Wrestling had turned into a type of Latino suspense drama show during this timeframe, which was very new & fascinating to me, but I enjoyed all of it every time I was able to watch Impact Wrestling. Even though it's irrelevant to the video, I enjoyed the Hardys' feud & Rosemary's feud with Su Yung as well.
One of the greatest stories in wrestling history. Something I love about this is the way they made the tag titles seamlessly part of the context, as if winning a wrestling match was just another part of the gangster lifestyle that would get them money. Brilliant comic book action all round and the acting from Kingston and Konnan was genuinely awesome.
I miss Santana and Ortiz as a group. LAX in Impact Wrestling will always be legendary. Especially with Konnan as their manager, freaking S O L I D ! ! ! !
Konann is a legend in wrestling AAA, ECW, WCW, TNA. TNA should put konann in the Hall of Fame and WWE should definitely put konann in the Hall of Fame ❤️🙏💯
I won't lie, I fell out of TNA back in late 2016 and I regret doing so. They made some backstage movie segments that reminded me of some Grindhouse style production for movies. Really raw, just out in front. Let the action be the action in the ring, but let the segments be just this with some free style and a lot of attitude.
Konan is og he was in wwf then wcw and bye that time he was already a International superstar mexico Japón puerto Rico he is a legend now day he is a producir for triple aaa in mexico
I don't care which wrestling promotion you support but The usos, Hardy boyz, Young bucks, Ortiz & Santana, Lucha bros and the revival were the hottest tag wrestlers of the modern day tag team wrestling.
Cinema! Some get stories told during 2018-2019, this new TNA needs some spice in creativity. Hopefully these new signings post Rebellion will help make that shift. The product needs a shake up.
@@packedentertainment2866 You're a halfwit. Selina was never in LAX, she was in Mexican America. And the LWO was around 7 years before LAX was, not to mention an entirely different faction.
Hopefully, since this, somebody let Steiner know that millennials were the ones watching him as kids/teens and that it's Gen Z and Alpha who wouldn't know who he is.😅
Been watching pro wrestling since 2006 I can see that some talent should just stay where they at I’ve seen a lot go to wwe and get killed by the company
Anyone else find it hilarious how LA Knight was in the same company as Scott steiner and now he is in the same company as Bron Breakker the nephew of the one and only Scott steiner and the son of Rick steiner 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The fact Steiner has two TNA tag title wins in is locker wit Eli Drake/LA Knight, and Booker T is amazing.
I'm too young to have seen Konan's career but his run with Lax was keeping TNA going during these times icl
You can literally look up his career lol
It's worth the watch. He was dope in WCW and in Mexico
Watched konan Rey and Eddie tear it down in wcw back in the day my favorite time in wrestling was the Monday night wars between wcw and wwf(now wwe)
Konan days In wcw was not appreciated enough, cause in one group you had long hair Billy Kidman, baby face no mask Rey mysterio an konan just a faction that’s not talked about enough

Homicide is better as singles
We need one of these History videos for all of LAX, from beginning to the very end. Maybe do it in 2 parts if it's too long. One part for the Homicide & Hernandez Era. Another for Santana & Ortiz.
Yes this is what we need
Conan was homicide & Hernandez manager in tna

These cut scenes man!
Pure GOLD
It's easy to forget that while he's a natural babyface, Eddie Kingston is uniquely despicable as a heel.
A serious storyline in this and really enjoyed what this brought to the table, top work TNA on what they put together here.

One of the 🐐 tag teams in TNA history
LAX ( both versions ) is my fav faction in TNA history 5150 🇵🇷 🇲🇽 🇨🇺 🔥
Never knew we needed this 🙌🏻
Eddie was so great w this
Diamante should come back to TNA
37:50 Seth Rollins in the front row😅
Loved this storyline it had a Robert Rodriguez vibe to it
Are used to watch this rivalry on TV way back in the day too. It was beautiful.
Santana needs to form a new LAX. Bring back Diamante!
I would love that. LAX should always exist in TNA in some form
This rivalry was so 🔥
My Puerto Rican wrestlers are low-key dominant. Thank you so much for this I never knew about their storylines.
This is where Eddie convinced himself he was a Gangsta from NYC.
i prefer this version of Eddie
He’s like 40 lbs lighter lol
@@RC-sj4bp he seemed alot less sensitive too.
He is a fine actor
@@dante666jt not really. Real 1s knows he’s fake and knows he grew up drinking Tropicana and not Sunny D.

Kingston was an amazing heel here! What a mouth he has
A walking glory hole😅
Im just happy that LA Knight had a tagteam championship run with Big Poppa Pump.
And now he's 1 of the biggest names in all of wrestling
@@vodoumyersand finally only won his first singles championship in WWE
I love how hernandez does that whistle thing
This introduced me to Eddie Kingston

LAX was lit and unstoppable during their TNA Debut specifically when it was full
I miss this lax story
It’s so hilarious watching The Mad King Eddie Kingston playing a “boss” then watching him on AEW
Impact wrestling at its peak ❤

I love how Lucha underground and tna showed the stories in the backstage wwe used to do that but not like this
Classic beef. Mix of street beef and wrestling.
LA Knight YEAH!!!
No disrespect to King, Santana, and Ortiz, but LAX will always be K-Dogg, Homicide, and Hernandez. Lol
That is EXACTLY WHY Homicide & Hernandez are referred to as The OGz, as in the original L.A.X. .

yeahhhhh
I love heel Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston was in Impact?

Yeah Konnan is pretty great. Dudes been around a long time.
Konan is og he was in wwf then wcw and bye that time he was already a International superstar mexico Japón puerto Rico he is a legend now day he is a producir for triple aaa in mexico
Oh, geez. It’s the OGz.
Honestly, it would've been better if Eddie's and Konnans roles were reversed
@@TheRobD4200 Yeah, it makes more sense for Konnan to be with the guys he’s familiar with, while Eddie worked with the “new LAX”.
Let's talk about Don Callis on the mike back in those days.
Bring Eddie Kingston back to TNA and help rebuild LAX with Santana
LA Knight impersonating MJF 😂
