Great video! These are very useful expressions!
This year , if not late last year, was when I learnt how to say 'get well'.
By the way, regarding rejecting offers etc, is it culturally okay to turn down invitations?
Good point. I would say it is better not to. That is why I declined this way. At least if you cannot make it because you had something planned before the invitation, they cannot feel offended. Another good tip is to learn to eat everything so that you can appreciate the food they would serve you. How do you manage as a vegan in France ?
@@FrenchAction1 Okay, I understand. Well, I've had to turn down a lot of eating invitations owing to my dietary restrictions. Some persons have tried to try vegan dishes so that I'm not left out while others try their best to include me. But of course, there are occasions where it just doesn't or can't work. But we seem to have an unsaid agreement. Bref, it's not bad at all.
@@RomonWrites I can imagine. The French are not acostumed to this dietary restrictions but they will make an effort to include you. I can well understand that turning down those invitations made it easier for everyone. It is a new trend that people will have to deal with. Eating at a table is what the French do best so you have been losing out a lot.
Bon travail ! (See what I did there?) Si seulement tu avais fini la chanson ! Ça aurait été tout un spectacle 😉.
Un grand merci pour ton soutien Lerus Vert
