I really love this video. So calming.
So I watched this channel RELIGIOUSLY prepandemic. I took a notebook and wrote about layering skincare and was super diligent with my nighttime routine and daytime routine. I was turning 33 then and felt healthy and happy and when the pandemic happened everything went to poop. I stopped the night time routine and daytime routine - i gained the covid 19 in pounds and I'm back to working in office and boy did i feel that downward trajectory after 35. It's harder to lose weight - my hair is visibly thinning and my fine lines on my face are out of control. I am back to being a youtube junkie and to be watching these two again has made me laugh so hard! The pajama pants with a cute top and then toilet paper with dolphins moment was thee best!

Love the video as usual and I'm 29 so I feel so connected to you girls because we are going through similar stages and Fel im acne prone too so I've been going through the motions with my skin for more than 10 years. Anyways I think my skin has finally began to become nice to me again and its settling itself. I had a massive breakout and Alpha arbutin from the ordinary has basically saved the shit out of my skin! I love the sulwhasoo products I’ve tried, especially the ginseng cream, but they’re a tad expensive.
So…I bought a mini of the Sulwhasoo cream just to try it for fun. It’s incredible. I used it for the first time last night. I don’t know how to explain it, but wow. I still wouldn’t pay that much for any product. But I have to say that it lives up to the price.

Can you do a video about product hygiene? ie. what utensils to use, how long to keep products for, best before dates vs. expiry dates
On the back of your cosmetics look for a little open jar symbol. That tells you how long you have to use it. Etc you’d see 12M etc then that’s 12 months

I'm 29 and mostly always had dry skin, although as a teen I had more combo. But living the cold and dry UK, my skin is always dry so I focus on anti aging and hydration
Toners are the best 😁 lot of derms say they don't do much but in when I was in uk they saved my skin ughh lot of toner n moisturizer n some petroleum jelly..... Gave me glowing skin even in that weather

Can I ask you something guys? We have really hot Sommers here and I want to keep my serums and toners in my fridge. But I’m not sure if I should do that because we also have really cold winters. it’s really likely that I want to keep them out of the fridge as well when’s getting colder again. And I usually use toners throughout a year, so I would put them in or out the fridge depending on the season. Do you think I can do that without damaging the ingredients in my products?

When it comes to reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, do you think investing in mainstream retinol products from brands like Paula’s Choice, COSRX and Some By Mi are more effective than going for Traditional Korean Hanbang options? Specifically, I'm wondering if splurging on premium panex ginseng brands like Sulwhasoo, Donginbi and The History of Whoo justifies the higher price for better results. What's your perspective on this 🙂?

Yeah, that's fine! There are products as well out there where these 3 ingredients are mixed together. Plus, these are not potentially drying when used.

Heck no, you can start whenever you want, the earlier the better. I started at 20, currently 22 I’m SO happy my acne is basically non existent, more healthier and hydrated than before I started my skin care routine, and I ALWAYS put on sunscreen to prevent early aging. I know I’ll thank myself when I’m in my 30s, 40s, 50s and so on for starting immediately. Start nowwww, your future self will thank you!
Honestly just do a basic cleanser, moisture, and sunscreen.

Keep in mind that although this channel is useful for products recommendation, these women likely had procedures like botox done. Notice they show no forehead wrinkles even when showing facial expressions like laughing/raising eyebrows, this can only be possible by botox which is great but never disclaimed here.
Asians usually have thicker forehead skin tho, but i do believe they hide some procedures

Botox doesn’t give you nice skin. Perhaps they do all of the above, good for them.
The whole 7 years cycle makes sense because all of our cells should have fully been regenerated/replaced every 5 years

Why did you stop at 35 😮. I found this interesting. Not sure why they say men are every 8 years though. They don’t live as long so shouldn’t they have shorter cycles? It makes me think of dog years lol. I use some gin-sing and I’m definitely a fan.
The BoJ essence and serum were awful for my combo-oily skin.
Sticky, skin looking greasy and the skin was just: Nope!
I gave them to my mom, that has dry skin and even her had the same disgusted reaction towards these 2 products from BoJ.
I'm still searching for a lovely non sticky essence/toner that has ginseng feels amazing for combo-oily skin.
I would recommend the the blithe 5 roots essence. Not sticky at all, leaves skin soft.
as someone also with combo-oily skin I've been using the i'm from ginseng serum and it's been really nice!
