Thanks for all the support legends this year has been off to a cracking start! Hope you're enjoying the content :-) Keep safe and happy and we'll see you on the next episode
Cheers my Icons!!! Thanks again for an awesome adventure, shit^y that the GoPro mucked it up while doing what it's supposed to do flawlessly (I got rid of my GoPro 7 years ago for much the same issues, only in fresh water and mostly under 20ft.), ow well, still the water looked magnificent,,as it always does. Great job Tal on the Black Tip Oceanic Shark (Are they like the blue sharks sometimes seen off our Atlantic coast, the shape is similar) awesome fight and a slick release, Brett!! I have good news and bad news for you both. The bad news is the Christmas gifts will be on the way to you by the end of next week, if not earlier, I have to go for some minor surgery next on the 15th so I'll haul the box with me to the post. I figure while I'm numb I won't feel the hit to the wallet that our Canadian Post charge. The Good News is It'll be early for Christmas 2023!! lol Just kidding, I've already started down that slippery slope! Hope you guys are doing fantastically well, my Love to You, Tal and the pups!!! - Dave (Tal I saw your post of Facebook today, and from one pincushion to another,...I feel your pain, my Dear.)
Great video, what a buggar about the Go-Pro stuffing up on such a nice vis day .... the backdrop makes up for it and not a bad way of spending a few hours. As for the Shark, there's 2 Blacktips, I recon its a Common Blacktip not the Reef ...happy to be wrong. Looking forward to the next video.
Yesss it’s heart breaking when you jump in and the camera gear just doesn’t want to work on such a nice day!! We do get a couple of varieties of blacktip here but tal has actually been studying up on these ones due to their size and gill formation and found them to most likely be an oceanic blacktip. One of the larger varieties and renowned for jumping and spinning which we’ve had a few trips in a row now haha full of energy!!
@@CoastalChaosAdventures Great stuff, Bloody common names I think they could be the same critter. Now for the nerd talk 😄 my guess is "Carcharhinus limbatus" Anyway, love the chilled feeling of the Vids and looking forward to the next instalment. Thanks Guys.
Brett wanted to ask that Penn was that a 70vis intl (gold one)? . Ive bought one for when I eventually arrive (UK tax free aswell 😜) Really good fun once again guys and loved the mini sardine run clip. Amazing. 👍👍
Hey buddy! The ones we have are actually the 30VISW size (2pd model). despite being a small frame we fit nearly 900m of 80lb on those little reels! Glad your enjoying the content mate :-)
Haha I get asked that so much! It’s actually for a friend who passed away tragically… I didn’t actually know it was even associated with Liverpool at the time haha
