After a headline-making stock market crash last week, if you didn't panic and simply did nothing then you'd be up more than 5% this week. If you are an Nvidia shareholder, you'd be up 11%. That is how the stock market works.
I think the next big thing will be A.l. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisor until being burnt by their own emotions. This is a really cool video! did you look at what the Dec 20 put would be worth on Nov. 8 instead of nov 22? You capture $108 of the $124 on the 22nd but I wonder what you'd capture on the 8th. My guess is that since earnings is reporting on Monday, that by Friday a lot of the IV from earnings would be gone so you could buy it back for a much higher gain than the .445 the 11/8 trade was giving..... So for those that don't want to tie up their cash for a few weeks, they could do that trade and maybe have done .55 or .6 or? I would have liked to know that number.
I Just entered the Palantir game finally last week. Once again I jumped in a little too soon with a put at 41 expiring on 11/08. I wish I would have waited another day before doing so but oh well. I will wait it out and CC myself out of bad situation if needed. Thank you for your content. Monday and Tuesday will be very exciting to watch. We have earnings followed by the election. Oh my!
Thank you for another fantastic video, Ashley! Question: In the video you compared waiting until Nov. 22 for $75 to getting $108 by the same time by selling the put with a later exp. date. But since the volatility decreases after earnings, if you sold the Nov. 22 PUT for $75, couldn't you get $75 earlier than Nov. 22?
I don’t have a position. I had one but got called away. I have great confidence in the company and I’m planning a gradual entry. Since I don’t have a Cristal ball I’m selling a 42-40-38-36 January 25. Premium 12.2 over 15.6k. If all are assigned to me the average price would be about 26$. If it keeps going down I’ll sell another strip 90 days out. I have allocated 70k to gradually enter into the stock.
This stock is fun to watch. Watch for EPS and guidance. Both have to be amazing or this sinks the stock. No way this stock stays in the $40 range after earnings unless they crush it and promise higher growth.
I really like your teaching skills ! I've learnt a lot watching your videos. Could you explain how you managed this trade after the huge rise of PLTR above your 50$ strike ?
If it does take a dive, I warned you about it. They are NOT an AI company. They are a software consultant company. Earnings for companies like this are choppy and unreliable due to the way these enterprise service contracts work. I suspect -50% or more after earnings over a week or two before it comes back up. Why do you think the CEO sold a majority of his stock over the last quarter? Very odd for a CEO to do this for a company that he is so confident about. Take profits now and hold on for a ride. The only way out of the choppiness is convincing many, many more customers to sign up for their self-proclaimed expensive services.

Great advice on PLTR! I sold a $35 put for this week. I'm now wishing I sold a $41 put for 11/22
Thanks Ashley ❤
Maybe buy leaps if pltr drops.
Love it!

Such a great video! Thank you!

Ashley, do you buy to close to exit a put contract early where you’ve sold a put and don’t want your money held up longer?
Personally I like to set up a BTC trade at a profit % of my choosing to automatically execute. I can always modify the trade later if I wish.
Yes… you “buy to close” an option you sold.
This is a really cool video!

Followed by a Fed meeting Wed and Thurs.
Best call. thanks
Also, don't be rope-a-doped into chasing this up when smart money moves it up after earnings. They will pull the rug out from underneath you.
@demoman7201 money comes out my account every week to DCA...I ain't chasing nothing..just DCA year in year out...lol
Another great hack, thank you Ashley for sharing this. Always look forward to your videos. So glad I joined your service.

@@alwayslearning321 if the stock moves up, you would get a good portion of it due to iv crush, but not 100% until expiration:)
Excellent analysis. Sell put during high IV, buy back when it's lower, and gain the difference.
Exactly!
Increased IV isn’t a free lunch. You’re being compensated for the risk.
@@zoraster3749 That is why you only Sell Put on the stock you like and won't mind getting assigned.
I decided not to do any options until after the earnings report tomorrow just in case.
Makes sense!

Very smart strategies and well explained . . No one else does it better 🎉

Do you get shares assigned if the stock price drops below the strike price before your put options expiration date?
You can but it only happens about 7% of the time. Your chances increase if it drops far below your strike.
You are the best Ashley! Thanks for sharing with us ❤❤❤
My pleasure 😇
How would , u mitigate .. losses like last eeek when the market , tanked & -loss of 25-30 % ? Or we just have to hold on to the stocks til it recovers
Hey new to ur channel, love it
Can u tell me what platform you are using in this video?
Thanks appreciate the content
Great video as always. In KARP WE TRUST.🍷🤙
Hi Ashley I am confused... If you buy it back on Nov you pay 108, so you are only netting the diff between 124 and 108... What am I missing?

Does Robinhood give you premium right away when selling puts or on the day of options expiration?
Should be right away.
I joined Robinhood, but I cant even see Option Quotes, What gives ? ??
You have to enable options trading in the settings.

The best! 🥳
That's not a trick. And if you sold 3 times weekly 8, 15 and 22 you would get even more money. And less risk.
I use wealthsimple and I don't think we can sell puts and calls in wealth simple. Can anyone clear it for me? We can only buy calls and puts
You can only sell covered calls
I am already selling PUT at 35 last week on anticipation expiring 11/8 but tomorrow imma think i'll do covered call at 50 expiring 11/8 😉

Im positioned in a good spot..goes up?great..goes down.?discount...greater...screw them options..im good

He is notorious for selling off his shares. I don't know how he gets away with it, I thought there were laws about that.
