Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value.

Getting rich off crypto is much tougher than it seems. I keep losing money while trading with these youtub videos, and finding a trustworthy professional trader to help out with these trades also appears to be nearly impossible. This is extremely annoying

Currently real estate prices aren’t high because they have been driven up by irresponsible speculation. As was often the case in the past. Prices have risen because a constantly increasing population with money to invest has been created - and continues to be created.
You should do a series where you trade options starting with $500 showing all trades when you make them (that day) and when you sell them (that day) and go till you hit like 50K or 100k . I like to see it done
I can definitely do a series but $500 to $100k takes years.

The most loss I ever had was buying calls. I only SELL calls and puts in a strangle strategy. Break even prices show Guaranteed profits

Sadly there are some companies, like fidelity, that won't allow you to do a pmcc and sell covered calls, because you're at a low level of option trading.
This is exactly what I’ve been doing but there is one problem that every time I buy call option,stock price starts to fall and I loose money I buy put option stock price starts moving up so I give up
Lately I've been selling put options on LABU. It seems to oscillate between $6-$8 for the past few months. What I do is wait for for a big red day and if it's $7 or lower I sell a put a month out. If it runs up early I buy the put to close. If not then I can wait the whole month. It's 3x leveraged so it moves big. If I'm wrong I at least got shares at a decent price.

You should do a series or challenge to see how long it takes for a person to build a $500 account to say 50k or 100k in a year. That would be awesome and essentially serve as an advertisement for your methods.

Hi Henry, in your example of using a leap option and selling a shorter term call as a "covered" call, what would happen if the short call gets assigned? What's the actual mechanics of what will happen? Do I have to cough up cash to buy the underlying and deliver them? Or can I deliver the leap option? Will I need to fork out 100*price at any point in time?

So hold on…. You can sell a call option WITHOUT owning the actual shares? If you own a leap call option of greater value, you can sell a different call option?
I got denied options by Robinhood. Their exact words were "NO OPTIONS FOR YOU! COME BACK 1 YEAR!". I think you also need to be trading on margin (you might have said it already). If you're a cash account on Robinhood they will put aside your capital to hold the option so aside from risk aversion you are basically putting up the same capital as if you had just purchased the shares.

You don't necessarily control 100 shares just because you buy a ITM call. Your long delta is roughly equal to how the equivalent amount of shares you "control".

Thank you for making the video. I just started the wheel strategy. It is a very interesting way to invest. I lost over half of everything I invested in crypto. I saw the options on Robinhood, but I never understood them. Now that I have some ammo, I'm more confident. This has lowered my stress level completely.
In December 2021 I bought the $30 LEAP on NIO, $15 on SOFI, and $20 on PLTR. Due to expire in January 2023. Ouch
I dont know about buying CALL options before earning....it can be good as long as you don't buy the current week's expiration! At least one week out, in case the stock moves against you!

Enjoyed yr video. One small comment is not to look at 52 week lows as buying losers are just losers, but buying into strength. For instance, Robinhood has been on an up trend even with the market in the toilet. This is a positive thing, not to be seen as weakness or over paying. Just a thought. I am a contrayian, but I also don't buy loser stocks unless them being cheap is due to other market factors.
Forget fundamentals for companies, that doesn't matter anymore. Market sentiment controls everything now. Learn the wheel if you haven't. Collecting premium is KING right now. 👊

What happens if it hits the $15 strike before the date?
You are still in profit. $10 strike 2025 expiry will be almost 1,000. Your $15 jan'23 expiry will be 150. You close both and take 850 profits.

Hello Henry, I tried to do the leap call strategy at Fidelity and they won't let me sell near calendar OTM calls backed by the 01/2025 leap call... They said that cannot be called "Covered Call"... What are the brokers you think would allow this feature/strategy? Like calling Covered Call for deep ITM leap calls instead of having the actual stock? Thanks.

You need $1000.00 minimum bc robinhood doesnt allow tier 2 options..... no spreads for poor people
Robinhood is great for beginners because they will let you trade debit and credit spreads which saves you a lot of money.

Well guys... all i can say is congrats to Henry for not blowing up his account in this economy. Many traders by now with a $1.9M account they would have gone off and bought a $1M house in Atlanta, Aspen, Florida, New york, WA and bought $50-$100K cars and fly private and lastly family members and friends trying to ask you to loan them $50K to $150K. These are far more dangerous then the hawkish market we are in. Nothing more dangerous than your family and friends in a recession market. ...

The first recommendation is to buy weekly call options on the low-cap stock at all times low. One of the most retarded strategies.
At least buy leaps on something that has a chance to go up in the long term.
