You need Level 3 trading to build these strategies. Problem is most of his target audience will not get Level 3 trading approved with robinhood.
Use tastytrade, normal margin account (not basic or "the works").

really great info but at L2 on robinhood so, no iron condor or spreads. how can this be done without putting trades separate? Sell Call and Sell put require capital and 100 shares

Ive tried all these with apple, google, etc and every time i try to place the order it states theres not enough sufficient cash… i have 5.5k of cash in my account so i dont see how this works for small portfolios?

You might need to choose another broker. Or ask them to change your access/privileges.
yea cuz u need collateral for the 200 put i thought so u d need 20k for collateral in case it goes below 200
There are scammers who lure people into losing their money by posting making such good profits, They would normally give a reference to who they are using and then 3-5 five people endorse that person how good their trading has been and end up ensnaring unsuspecting learners. just Follow the teachings of Invest with Henry and get better at trading!!!! why do debit spreads over credit spreads when theres high IV from earnings?
Henry the problem is that you can't do spreads on level 2 or on less than $2000. Since we are talking about small accounts, people can not do spreads. Maybe I am missing something, if so, pls let me know.

im confused on the fact you sold a put then said "its not a huge difference" yeah not huge on the buy in or max loss but you dwindled your max profit from 20k to 1k? maybe you should talk more about the greeks if that effected the selling put but if not it would be nice for someone to explain considering it was originally a 430 max loss to a 21k max profit to a 380 or 360 max loss with a 1k max profit..

There is no "Strategies". Market is there to VALUATE probabilities and if Market priced your changes winning 60% and losing 40% means how ever you slice it, you will PAY that + "Spread" / "cost".. The only way to WIN, to find OPTIONS that for Whatever reason priced wrong and create OPPORTUTNITY.. But for that you have to know how to evaluate Probabilities yourself.. MARKET is NOT ATM for you to make $$$$.. THESE KIDS have NO CLUE what it can do to them.. Few 2008 type of Hits and 2 Million turn into ZERO in no Time.. Guy is in the Market 8 GOLDEN years without single hiccup, which just about to hit.. I want to see his "Strategy" working in 2008-2009.. These "players" has been all wiped out.. That NEW GENERATION X - iPhone + Robinhood about to hit reality check..
Question: So because you bought a PUT with the put debit spread you don't have to put up the 20k collateral to sell the 200 put? only 390??

The long put limits your maximum loss so the capital requirement is significant lower. Your capital requirement (on Robinhood) will always be your maximum loss

@@jamesben3745 the margin requirement will always equal the difference between the short and long leg. If you sell a 200 put and buy a 190 put, Robinhood will set aside $1000 of your cash while you have the position open because that is the max loss. Since you will also get paid some amount to open the position, the net collateral requirement is $1000 minus the credit you received
On average, how many position do you take on at once?
Also don't understand iron condors. Never did when I use to have money in early 2000s buying calls and puts
yeah i literally just found out the hard way of not closing my credit spreads.. i mean, it is kinda Stupid RH will closed your trade for a lost. all my trades were OTM.. might have to rethink my strategy moving forward. instead of $93, i got $75..

These are great plays!, But you fail to let us know to SELL a put you need a lot of knowledge and money. A broker will not let you sell options unless you know what your doing.

So basically you first show how you made 1k by guessing the direction of the stock on earnings, then you say like that's money laying here and there for free.
I would say that people watching those videos should ask themseves about changes to guess the direction of the stock cuz in the end of the day stock market is a 0 sum game, somebody wins, somebody loses because right as he won game by buying options somebody lost game by selling options.

There are restrictions that could limit one from achieving this so I use an expert while I trade on a cash account and above the PDT rule for high profitable trades, I make around £ 2k weekly with his help cause trading is quite complicated

Why even bother with the selling the $40 put as this doesn't really reduce your risk? Also, this is a really risky trade as it expires same day and you also said "IF" it goes in your direction.

One you are getting a credit, the other you are paying for. With the credit spread if it expires worthless you keep the money, for the debit spread you have to close it otherwise you will lose.
Just a question Henry, if we look at buy put for 0. 48, do we look for the same delta value on sell call as well? Or we look at 0.52?

So you’re saying you let it expire and don’t close the trade before market expires on last day? I thought with iron condor you always want to close it before market close on expiration
I think his tactics in this video is very risky.. you also see him lose 6000 dollars on one trade witch if he was mindfull of risk to reward would not happen in this scale. Investing 4x to gain 1x seems like a losing position over time. Way better to have a lower risk and a smaller gain witch turns a winner most of the time. You got to think about how many winners do i have to have to make up for the losers. If the rate is in your favor over 70% of the time then its a good bet to make. way better to be a winner long term then in the short term.

You have to get a financial-advisor/broker to aid you diversify your portfolios to include commodities, inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, as opposed to growth stocks where valuations were based on future potential earnings.

should atleast start with a $1000 account. and do cheaper spreads than his examples. i got spreads paying $25 in a week lol only risking $200.

Using weekly debit spreads is an excellent way to blow up your account. Terrible risk management, give it at least 4 weeks so you don’t end at zero overnight
