Heck yeah! I didn't realize the Sweet Cuppin Cakes was a Sbemail thing until I heard the keyboard jingle and KNEW I heard that before and searched for it LOL. Someone already made a video of that, so I figured I'd do one to show this off. Absolutely love all the small things Toby Fox puts into his games, lol. Thanks for watching! :)
@@GameOpus Fully agreed, the little nods to pop culture (while not being overly obvious) really make my happy, including his keyboard "demo" jingle. Here's another one: the moss in the corner of the rooms is a tribute to Illusion of Gaia (SNES) where you're locked in a jail cell. There's moss in the corner and you're told "even moss drinks water". Such a fun nod to other great things people have made. :D
@@Bandrik Oh man I never would have put that together, despit playing Illusion of Gaia, haha! Yeah that's what really makes Toby's games so much fun, the vast amount of references.
@@GameOpus haha yeah it's a real obscure reference. I don't even know why but the "even moss drinks water" quote always stuck with me, so when I saw it in Deltarune I lost my mind haha. But yeah the references and nods are such wonderful tributes and I love it. I hope to one day develop a game of my own, and it will have subtle references like this as well, as it's fun to see how much joy it sparks in people that get the references. :)
