It makes me laugh to see that big ole’ bear perched so gracefully on your railing and snacking on birdseed. Patrick I can’t thank you enough for these incredible videos, and yes we were all worried about Simone and so very sad for the bear that was killed for no damn good reason😞
@@pennylane428 Glad to see it worked! I really don't know why these things have to exist. I get a lot of really big ones around here too. The worst are the big fat black ones that go in the bathroom, position themselves right above me and then abseil themselves onto me with lightening speed! And this tells me two things - they know what's going on, and they want to bite! Both is rather worrying! I try and catch them with tissues and flush them away or throw them out the window. These things are so massive I'm surprised the bathroom never got blocked up! But saddle soap - good idea, suppose any liquid soap would work, I'll try that. Anything to get rid of the buggers!
Honestly these bears are amazing. They actually believe that your porch is their home and they go right ahead to feel at home! Lovely videos. Please keep them coming.

That is amazing she left them there. They have gotten huge in a matter of weeks. I remember watching them stumble and bumble around the first time Simone brought them to meet Patrick. Our cubbies are growing up so fast! Patrick thank you for documenting this.

Cute to see Simone strolling over the little pedestrian bridge. Over time, a couple of observations I've picked up from commenters: 1. Everybody loves to eat some kind of sweet fried dough, and 2. Both animals and humans very much prefer to go about their daily business in peace and with dry feet.

Your porch is the best umbrella for Simone & babies.
They are wild and have coats to protect them. Trees and brush are part of their environment as well.
