  • Welcome to our first of many videos on VVS Detailing! Today, we dive into the complete paint restoration of a classic - an imported 1995 Toyota Hilux. This beauty has travelled miles and witnessed decades, but with time, it lost some of its original shine.
    🔧 What we did:
    Detailing: We start off by giving this Hilux the deep cleaning it deserves, ensuring every inch shines brighter.
    Paint Correction: With years comes wear. We rolled back the hands of time to remove swirls, scratches, and imperfections, bringing back the Hilux's original charm.
    PPF (Paint Protection Film) Application: To protect this renewed finish, we applied PPF to the front painted areas, ensuring that the Hilux remains resistant to potential chips and scratches.
    Ceramic Coating: Lastly, for that impeccable shine and long-lasting protection, we sealed the deal with a 5-Year ceramic coating.
    The transformation is nothing short of INCREDIBLE! 😍 Watch till the end to see the stunning before and after comparison.

      Hard to find nice ones in the UK, have you thought about importing one? If you are USA you could look at the Tacoma?

      We never got this vehicle in America, so it’s one of those times where we want what we can’t have. I have an interesting blog post going into what it’s known for in other countries. www.vvsdetailaz.com/post/restoring-the-iconic-toyota-hilux

    What do you use for your trim an plastic cleaner?

    • @VVSDetailing
      @VVSDetailing  9 месяцев назад

      We use a magic eraser and some degreaser to clean the plastics of any dirt and grime, and then we use Solution Finish to actually dye the plastics black again. Once it’s dried overnight we have the option to ceramic coat over it to prolong the look

    Gotta keep the top protected so brass bounces off without damaging it, lol

      Haha! That's a great idea considering the owner wants to mount something crazy in the bed...
