Dude, we missed you. You are literally one of the best detailers on RUclips. Subject matter, editing, quality, narration, all of it. You. Need to stay. M.A.D., Detail Geek, Stauffers Garage, and your channel are tied for top car detailing channels. Great to see you back
Oh Man I have had Toyotas for over 15 years and bought them in pretty rough shape (I flip them), one thing I would recommend to all who get cars like this that have been sitting outside is to check the wiring and with a knife split and check the end of the wires, i had some issues with that and when checking the wires were full of corrosion inside and looked ok from the outside, it causes horn, lights, starting issues, hazard and turn signal issues, so if you see one or two wires full of corrosion, try to get a healthy harness from a junk yard and you wont regret it, usually these cars have their known issues easy to repair but corrosion is almost present in all of them if they seat outside when its moldy. Good detail :) thx for sharing
It’s great you showed us the engine bay wash and outcome, I like this just as much as the body work. A lot of utubers don’t even show the engine bay, it’s the ultimate detail in my opinion
Man I used to put those striping kits on in the early 90’s. Takes me back I love these trucks. Sharpline was the name of the company that made those kits. They rarely lasted that long. That was neat to see one in such good condition. I also had an 86 p/u 2wd. My favorite vehicle ever. I love the pull style parking brake
Nice memory about "Sharpline". In the late '70's/early '80s we had a regional(?) company called "Trimline Design" if I remember correctly. My memory is that they prepped many/all the new Toyotas/Hondas etc before the dealers presented the vehicles for sale. They did great work.
First of all, I am so jealous, because that is the very truck that I have always wanted, but never have bothered to buy. Second, of all the OCD restoration or detailing videos I have watched this is certainly one of if not the best. Lastly, my sister has a Toyota 4-Runner that’s pushing 400 K but it’s in excellent condition. If I manage to get my hands on it, I’m gonna give you a call to detail it 😂. Keep up the good work, I can’t wait to see your next vehicle!!!!!
Let’s GOO YOUR BACK LOVE SEEN YOUR VIDEOS MAN YOU DO A GREAT JOB HOPE YOU CAN CONTINUE TO POST 🎉 your one of the best detailer out there KEEP up the great work
This is such a PNW truck, I see these things driving around here (WA) all the time. Moss and all. What PSI is your pressure washer? Always interested in how much damage one can do depending on PSI.
for the rusted seat bolts, next time you may wanna try sea foams deep creep. it's a great penetrating oil that will break loose stuff like that in no time.
Add to how good this product is on dump trucks hauling asphalt the lug nut can get coated due to driver error or shit happens but it does a great job penetrating through the asphalt and on to the lug nut and stud still not as fast as a torch but seafoam deep creep throq kroil in the trash sea foam ftw
Buena base para hacer un restomod ,y hacerla como la Toyota de regreso al futuro, negra con los faros auxiliares des carita sonriente de kc en la barra de techo
great job! that truck would probably sell for ~$20k where I'm from lol You Americans living down south be glad your vehicles just last even when they're not taken care of
A true tank! Lasts a lifetime! The concept and phrase “Planned Obsolescence” didn’t exist when the world was a better place!
Thats a really nice truck to be left out like that, get them to sell it to me XD
This is why I love detailing. You can take it from a fixture under a tree to something cool. Great work man.

I parked an old white Volvo wagon in my buddies yard in southeast. Within 2 years it looked a bit mossy. Personally I liked the look.

Old truck looks great
Damn that result is great for a nearly 30-year-old truck
that camper top needs to be dropped off at the local dumpsite🤣
bruh these trucks are pretty solid aside from that headgasket issue of them 3.0 engines.. a 5vz 3.4 is the perfect engine for this truck.
