You musn't use Autotune much. Your info regarding it is incomplete. You can click "Graph" (which has been possible for years and years) and then you get the same granularity as Melodyne. You also need to track the vocals into Autotune Graph Mode.
What’s up Diesel! I have used Auto tune graph mode. It is good for sure. This is just MY workflow. There are a dozen “right” ways. I do really appreciate the comment and great insight sir.

Melodyne is more natural pitch correction while autotune is a more processed pitch correction
