Please create more winter lake trout fishing adventures. Years ago, I fished a lake that was at a 4,000' elevation and just had a foot of snow fall the day before. I was the only one fishing the lake and it was beautiful and peaceful with the snow covered mountains in the background. Fishing was slow but I did catch one 18 inch hybrid rainbow.kokanee trout. Bright red flesh and absolutely delish. Love your adventures.

Sorry for unfortunate coffee loss but we got a good laugh. And that beaver that keeps swimming behind your back...lol!
As soon as your coffee fell over I was like NO!!!!! lol. Many years back I was fishing in February at Lake Topaz Nevada floating a worm and the tip of my pole was barley moving so I let some line out and it started to tighten, so I let more line out and the same thing happened. So I reeled in slowly and felt a slight tug. I set the hook and after 20 minutes, I was only using 4 lb line, I landed a 7 pound 15 ounce rainbow trout! Still have the pictures. When its that cold outside trout bite very slowly so it's best to let line out so they eat the bait. its like they eat the bait and remain still and if there is any movement of the line they let go. Been fishing for almost 45 years in every month of the year. Love your videos!!!! Thumbs up!!

As someone who lives in swampy Florida I do really find winter videos super fascinating, I've never had the opportunity to fish west coast or even midwest, much less in snow! It wasn't winter, but this resurrects a memory of a breakfast of grilled Mount Rainier lake trout from early morning fishing!....about 54 years ago.... you just can't forget that kind of thing..... grilled fresh caught mountain lake trout for breakfast.....out of doors! Priceless!!!

For snow, you want propane or a propane/butane mix. Butane alone will freeze up. And yes, we want to see winter fishing/camping! Always like a quick trip outdoors when you post!

Herring is fine canned fare to eat when there is nothing else available. Telling you as Ukraine born and relocated to these beautiful USA...I went to Columbia a few years back for Shad and its basically herring so had bunch of it hot smoked and canned - it turned out amazing! Love your videos brother!
That whole sequence where the beaver finally shows up, and the camera tracks him, and he just looks so nonchalant - played out like classic comedy.
I had my fun and funny experiences with beavers as a kid. I was lucky enough to have a creek in town maybe a quarter mile from my house. A family of beavers damned the creek for years - enough to make a pond that was perfect skinny dipping in the summer, and a thick-iced hockey rink in the winter.
I don't know if it was just me or what - but the beavers got sort of acclimatized to me, and would tolerate me being around, to a degree.
So I got to spend some quality up close and personal time with them, no threats.
Beavers are animals you can watch for hours. They're just like that.
I wish, I had this kind of lifestyle too! enjoy watching this kind of videos
