I was there for the two minute silence, being in a crowd of 60,000 people all dead silent was a surreal experience. It shows mad respect from us maggots though, R.I.P Paul you legend.

There's nothing I wouldn't do for them. He got the most surprised, yet moved look on his face and gave me the greatest hug I've ever had. When I would start to let go, he hugged me tighter. The two minute moment of silence is so hard to watch. Corey and Clown fighting back tears, Mick looking dead inside, Sid silently crying in the background... they really loved this guy. The crowd was amazing in paying respect (some people held up shirts with Paul on them, others held "We Love You Paul" signs, etc). This is the type of thing that only metalheads do. But it was Paul who seemed to be the glue that kept his eye on the prize and the ego of rock superstardom out. I had a feeling they were going to do an "unforgettable moment" video of Paul, and I was right. Sadly, I became a Slipknot fan just four years after he passed away. And I feel very bad I didn't get into them sooner. Just seeing this video, and looking up other videos of Paul, made me become a fan of his. While he seemed like a real down to earth hilarious guy, He just looked so badass onstage playin bass. And I wish that I would've loved to see him perform alongside Corey Taylor and the guys. And seeing the NY INK video of Corey getting a tribute tattoo of his best friend, choked me up. I know for a fact that Paul is lookin out for his band mates whether in the studio or onstage! And my heart goes out to his family and friends. R.I.P Paul, the world will never see another crazy motherfucker like you!

As a bass player, Paul Gray still remains as my greatest influence for picking up the bass guitar and 10 years later is still my number one influence for bassists
    RIP Paul Gray
Even though you were number 2, for me you'll always be number 1

Man, The Rev and Paul Gray was both my favorite musician, it's sad that they both were talking about their end. Jimmy said one day he will get off the bus and never gonna come back, and Paul said i can't do it forever, this is gonna end someday...

R.I.P Paul, you will be missed. Even though I was not aware of Slipknot when he died, becoming a maggot and watching this has given e one of the deepest sorrows I have felt in my life. Thank you for inspiring many (including myself) to play bass, Paul.
Edit: i realize ppl have made this type of comment already, but idc. he was really gud (well, you all know that)

when i was a kid i was introduced to slipknots music and fell in love, me being the naive kid that i was i didn't think they were human, i thought the mask was their actual faces. I stopped being scared of the dark because I would always imagine slipknot keeping me safe.
