Well prepared session, Paul (that is a perfect presentation in my eyes). Nice job. Can you sent D Farke an invite to this post please? I'd like Guilavogui getting more playtime. Schmidt isn't over the hernia op.
Hi Paul, I like the idea of changing things away from home, I just don’t see us employing that formation (not that I don’t think it’s a good idea, I just don’t see Farke doing it - he relies on his full backs to provide the width). I do think a 433 with Ampadu, Tanaka and Rothwell in midfield, with 2 wingers and Joseph up front would be the change we could see. 433 would give us the solidity but with enough variation. Ultimately we need to improve away from home and start winning games on the road.
Any change would be good even if it is only when we are playing away, like i keep saying if you do not try it you do not know, and the change would shock the opposition from the start.
Totally agree with a change needed, at least away from home. We keep getting overrun in midfield and starting too slow. Personally I was thinking 4-3-3 or 3-4-3. Pretty sure Leeds played a 3-4-3 in preseason and it was very fluid; suited the team and wasn't vastly different to the roles we have in the 4-2-3-1. Either way if we get to the Prem next season, Farke will need to use any/all tricks in the book to stay up given the gulf in quality between divisions. Fingers crossed MOT
The owners aren't prepared to spend nowhere enough money the manager is tactically inept and most of the squad are simply not good enough This team would be cannon fodder in the premier league not that will happen anytime soon
Calgary calling pal, I wouldn’t mind seeing that and yes we do need a change with pace and urgency although I do blame Farke. Meslier needs to go and a solid replacement brought in and a quality 9 if we can?

Our best 11 in a 4411 is:
Meslier
Bogle
Rodon
Wober
Schmidt
James
Tanaka
Ampadu
Gnonto
Ramazani
Piroe
Don't think Ampadu is ready to start. Try this with Willy in the middle
4141 formation
