I honestly believe Joseph will come good but I think he needs paired with a proper No 9 in a 3/5/2 formation with Ramazani and James wide in a 5 featuring Rothwell & Tanaka further forward and ONE holding midfielder. Perhaps it’s time to bin the wing backs idea and play a back three including big G and Ampadu in holding role.
If we are gonna change the formation, I think we should go full Gaurdiola, and go with a 3-2-4-1. A 3-2-4-1 would allow us to fully take advantage of our attacking talent on the wings by still starting Gnonto/Solomon and James, and have the ability to move Ramazani and Tanaka into fluid AM positions.
IMHO if we don't buy/loan a cam in jan we have got to go 4.3.3 away from home with Ampadu at the base and Tanaka and Rothwell operating higher up. Pairing that three with the speed of Dj and Ramazani on the flanks would give us a solid and tactically flexible formation that I think would tear any opposition up.
When you think about it the 40 million we got for our 10 rutter was end of the window so no time to replace but no excuses in Jan gotta be a 10 available at a price out there!
Leeds need to stop trying to dominate possession away from home. play a bit deeper and with the players we have the game will open up naturally and give us much more space going forward

He has little else in his locker, no composure, he is too lightweight and ends up on his backside too often. I’d play Rothwell further forward when Ampadu is fully fit with Gruev as a back up. I have also been calling for Joseph to start and Piroe to come on with 30 mins to go if we are struggling to put chances away. Interesting thought about Solomon in the No 10 role and we all believe Gnonto could also play there more effectively than Aaronson does. I don’t think Farke will recruit a new goalkeeper because he is stubborn and doesn’t seem to see what we all see. Meslier has proved too much of a weak link too many times now, so whether we manage to sell him or not we need another option in January.
We are a team that works massively on confidence. If we get the first goal. We defend and look for the openings on transitions. We need to play Ramazani in 10 and Joesph. A new keeper is a must!!!
it is amazing... all an opposition manager needs to do to plan for playing us at home is to watch the Blackburn, Preston and our other away games as that will tell him exactly how we will play because he knows, and we know, Farke will use the exact same tactics. There may be an occasional player change up front but it makes no difference. Game management will be the same. Sub process will be the same.

As far as Joseph's goal scoring is concerned, Wilder at SUFC, our main competition, is happy to play Moore, for his hold up and bullying abilities so other players can benefit. Moore isn't prolific. In my opinion Joseph is a far younger better player than Moore. He is still 20yo and far from the finished article. If you look at Leeds past their "MF Generals" in their heydays have nearly always come from converted wingers, Giles, Strachan and Hernandez. Small players with touch and ability on the ball who can pick a pass. Use Solomon, Gnonto or Ramazani, at least as a trial.

I don’t think Farke will try 4-3-3. Of course he should. Aaronson isn’t the answer to the no.10 issue.
