Pauper is a budget friendly format for magic the gathering that is sweeping the world over with it's legacy lite style play from modo to Arena to your local game store(LGS) it's sprouting up everywhere, my LGS hosts weekly tournaments with prize payouts, if your shop doesn't yet have one get your friends together, show up and request nicely that this time and place each week be designated for pauper, every tuesday at 7pm for example, spread the word, ask the shop to announce it or post it on the schedule board nicely too.
