When you bake it the design becomes permanent! I can say though after months of continued use it has now began to chip away. I would recommend limiting the dishwasher despite the fact its “dishwasher safe”!
Hi!! Yes you have to wait for it to dry but that happens pretty quick. For the triangle cup it dried within minutes but for the stars and lightning one since it was thicker coats we waited about 30 min! You can bake with just the sharpie but its less permanent!
Nice idea. I do this on ceramic tiles. Do you mod podge before or after heating the mugs. Also, do you heat at a low temp for 2 hrs. I had read (and done) 400° for 45 minutes. Does it matter?
3:30 Qué aplicas en este instante cuando usas la brocha? qué líquido es? qué químico...? what liquid do you apply at that moment when you use the brush
this really helps. im an artist who started doing custom pieces.
Thank you for making this video! Great instructions..going to try it out.
You guys are TOO CUTE ! ! !
I love the tea one haha
Jackie had the best mug, actually. Lol
Cool video. I would have probably spilled my drink on myself too. Something always happens. What kind of sharpies were used?
Can’t wait to to make some mugs!!!
Theres plenty of ideas on the pinterest boards 👀
Great video. Both informative and super entertaining.
Such a good idea! I have way too many mugs so I think I’ll use one to do this! Also that spill was too funny 😂
You definitely should!!
Love them all but mine is definitely the best!!
And the insta poll agreed!!
love this!!!
Thank you!!
Awesome job!!
I saw that the dishwasher safe mod pog is not food safe and should not go all the way up the mug to where the lips would touch. Any suggestions?
Will the design last? Since you said hand sanitizer will wipe it off

Y'all are cute. 🥰
How long did you wait before you apply the mod podge?
I watched other videos that do it different paint, bake then mod podge.
Now I’m confused 🥺
Did you find an answer to that???
I’m stuck in the same question!!!
I’m pretty sure it just has to dry completely before coating.
