While I love the harvest and bright garden colors, I would also love to hear more about when harvest doesn't come. Do all of your plants always grow successfully? What doesn't grow according to plan, what mistakes are made, what did you learn from them and what changes were made afterwards for a better season next year? I would love to hear not only the beautiful harvest, but the hard work, sweat, tears, lessons, and failures that inevitably come with all successes. 💛 signed, a hopeful gardener with a few years of failed seasons.

aww, no haha not everything grows successfully. especially because each year we get less and less sun on our gardens with growing trees. there are plenty of frustrations when it comes to gardening. for example this year i planted pumpkin seeds 3 times, probably well over 100 seeds, and ended up getting only 1 pumpkin plant because the chipmunks ate all the seeds every single time. so this year is not the year of the pumpkins for us! we will instead be purchasing pumpkins from local farmers to make up for it. we take wins where we can get them and that's all we can do, for God is sovereign even over our harvests. it's not my intention to make it look like it's easy breezy and perfect in my videos, but i do choose to focus on the simple of joys here because this is my art form. if you'd like to keep up with a less curated look at my homesteading journey you can follow my family's homesteading IG page @seedthymeandharvest 💛
I am so fond of Spurgeon and have a grand collection of his writings. I listened to two of his sermons on RUclips this morning...instead of my usually single dose. Morning and evening is one of my most used devotionals. Blessed to see someone your age enjoying his teaching....the fathers of the faith are timeless.💗
Your videos are truly motivational. After 25 years of living in a busy city (though close to the sea), I moved to the mountains. I live near a beautiful river, I always have the TV off and I focus much more on myself and the nature around me. I found happiness in simplicity.

I don't know much about keeping a garden, but my grandpa grows vegetables and fruit, he gave me some mammoth sunflower seeds to plant next June, can't wait to grow them in my front yard :) love your videos! God bless

You have a bounty of flowers and produce. I must have Monsanto soil my radishes take two years to grow! Everything is perfect as always. Can you imagine having the calibre of people around like Charles Spurgeon around today. Have you been out there lately? You have the sweetest voice. You should plant some coconut bushes. That way you can have fresh squeezed coconut juice in the mournings.

Autumn is my most favourite season but feels a lifetime away. Here in Melbourne Australia we are in the depths of winter which is being a gloomy companion to Covid lockdowns we are having at the moment. Hopefully we all get to see autumn which means we’ve survived Covid. Your video gives me the correct dose of calmness and peace for my sanity in these crazy times. Thanks for having the shoes on when in between the foliage 😁. Although white would not have been my first choice in a garden.
