you'd be surprised about how many herbs REALLY exist. Some herbs I thought were just "weeds" were London Rocket, Stinging nettle (my favorite herb), shortpod mustard, etc. I recommend getting the app PictureThis so you know what plants are growing around, even if they aren't herbs; many are good for magick. I definitely encourage you to have an herb garden, and I wish you luck on getting one. Blessed be

Thank you soooo much for helping me to remember who I am....the moment I saw your video I knew where you were...I had a magical place in Va.....but due to an illness and other stuff I achingly made the choice to sell it and move to a different state.....I have been feeling traumatized and even sicker ever since.....I used to wander the woods, I foraged, I hung flora and fauna every where and collected quartz stones and had all sorts of wild animal friends...
I am determined to well and feel better again and find peace where I am......seeing you reminds me of the ME i used to be and will be again!!!!

I'm kinda interested in properties of herbs and plants, so thank you very much for talking about this! Also, I vividly remember eating a variety of violets as a kid once, like one per colour with a childhood friend, and every single one tasted differently. It was a really pleasant and surprising experience. Not that I advise anyone to go eat flowers like that though, her parents grew them in their garden without pesticides and she knew what was edible or not.

I love chickweed, or våtarv as it's called here in Sweden. It's highly available in so many places, it's nutritious and it's tasty. It's also humbly beautiful. Love the idea of chickweed pesto, will definitely try that! I imagine hemp hearts would be a nice substitute to pine nuts in it.
Right now it's stinging nettle season here and I pick it in abundance. It's a beautiful herb. Powerfully protective, nutritious and really tasty. I like to fry it with mushrooms, onions and garlic and serve it with pasta. Yummmm!

This video was so informational! I appreciate how thorough you were on describing the herbs, identifiers, and how to use them. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for these herbs in my area. :) I will say I'm thrilled and also relieved to have found your channel. I fell away from the craft over the past year and a half due to anxiety of having to be 'perfect' in what I do, not having time due to an insanely busy schedule, etc. But your videos have reminded me that it's okay for magick to also be about the small things, not grand acts, and that something as simple as meditating, having a cup of tea or coffee, etc, can be just as important and magickal in your daily life. I'm slowly sinking back into it, and it is a welcome relief given the current times. It helps fight my anxiety at work (my job is in a newsroom as an editor/producer, so I can't escape the information and updates on the pandemic) and when I need a break from the writing, editing and overwhelming facts and looming depression, I stop and turn on one of your videos. I know many have commented before, but how you speak is so soothing. If anything, you're a natural healer in that regard, at least for my frayed nerves. And your videos just make me happy, reminding me there is peace out there somewhere, even just for a moment. So even though we've never met, and I live in a different part of the nation from you, thank you. For everything. Many blessings to you, and I wish you and your's both good health and safety.
