I have two pair off the first version as well. My big toe has worn through the upper on both pairs. If this version addresses that issue I'll buy them. Love everything else about them.
I loved the first version comfort wise for taking long walks. But unfortunately the upper part was not very durrable and my big toe showed after two months. Hopefully thats fixed witht the new version
10k race coming up. Are they a good choice. I fear theyd be sloppy, all the travel of the midsole make me wonder if theyd stay stable for legs getting tired late in the race. They have a unique style but does it run
They are too heavy for competitive racing. They weight over 11 ounces. Other shoes like the invincible 3 cloud surfer are about 9 ounces. Those extra 2-3 ounces will start to feel like bricks in long distances.

Hey, thanks for the question! I'd recommend the 4DFWD for walking, absolutely. It's okay for standing, but definitely geared toward moving rather than standing 🙌

The lattice is the same as on the 4DFWD, but the 2 has a continental rubber outsole, so it should last longer. Haven't been using much lately as it's the sample I have is half a size smaller than what I'd need

those plastic hook things were digging into my ankle bone. i ripped the threads out and yoinked them and they still fit fine. wtf were they thinking?

It's just stupid I want to know what the new ultra version 4dfwd provides compared to this. But that one is barely available.. 😅

How long does those out soles last? Really like the comfort of the parley 4dfwd ones, but it's out soles look like it will last 2 months tops.

I did, reviewed the shoes for T3. The upper on the new one is definitely better. Still very heavy, tho 🤔
